✦ RANK-UP SKILLS

For most players, ranking up gacha S-rank is not necessary. PULL HER EQUIPMENT SUPPLY FIRST BEFORE PULLING FOR RANKS. A fully geared S0-rank Mobius with full support is better than SS-rank Mobius with no gear and no support gear.

✦ SKILL OVERVIEW

In this section, I will be going through some of Mobius skills. This serves as a reference for players. If you are already familiar with her abilities, you can skip to the next sections.

Passive: Genesis Seed

Mobius has a special Genesis Seed counter used for Combo ATK. Battle starts with 3 Genesis Seed. Max 3 Genesis Seed. Genesis Seed can be restored by:

- FAST: Ultimate activation (3 Seed), Surging ATK, QTE and signature cross Basilisk's Image

- SLOW: 4th Sequence of Basic ATK and Evasion Skill

Combo ATK: Distorting Scale

Tap Ult ****on to use Combo ATK. (yes tap ult). Combo ATK consumes one Origin Seed to clap the enemies. Has three sequence.

Sequence 1: 150% + 175% Lightning DMG

Sequence 2: 375% Lightning DMG

Sequence 3: 425% Lightning DMG

ENHANCED BASIC

Each sequence can be followed up with Enhanced Basic ATK, each dealing 175% ATK Lightning DMG (tap ATK ****on). Restore 6 sp on hit

OBJECT X

Combo ATK 1st Sequence and QTE summon Object X for 20s! While Object X is up, enemies take 25% more Lightning DMG! Object X also slows enemies move speed and slowly pulls enemies.

OTHER COMBO ATK BUFFS

- Combo ATK has 25% Total DMG

- For 3.5s after landing Combo ATK, Combo ATK gain 20% Lightning DMG. Stacks twice

ULTIMATE: Honkai Activation (SP cost: 100, CD: 20s)

Mobius transforms into her ICHOR form [Ouroboros] to deal massive Lightning DMG. Creates [Umbra of Ouroboros] for 12s. During Umbra of Ouroboros, Mobius has a lot of unique effects!

SURGING ATK

During Umbra of Ouroboros, Enhanced Basic ATK becomes Surging ATK, deal 110% x5 ATK Lightning DMG and restore one Genesis Seed. Basically, after ult, your damage is bigger and you can keep spamming Combo > Surging ATK for 12s.

MULTIPLIERS

- Enemies take 20% more Lightning DMG from Mobius. THIS IS A UNIQUE MULTIPLIER WHICH MEANS IT IS VERY STRONG!

- Mobius gain 25% Lightning DMG

- Mobius Combo ATK multiplier increased by 360% (3.6x more damage)

ENEMY DAMAGE LINK

Mobius can link enemies like Starchasm Nyx.

- During Umbra of Ouroboros, up to 5 enemies who are hit by Ultimate or Combo ATK are linked.

- Damage from Mobius Combo ATK, Enhanced Basic and Ult are transferred between them at a rate of 16%. This is a direct HP LOSS effect.

- When a new enemy spawns, Mobius can link them with Combo ATK.

This makes Mobius so good in Elysian Realm mode and in mob stages.

QTE: Piercing Fangs

- Trigger: Time Slow or an enemy take 15 hits within 3s. (or Klein ELF 3-star skill)

- Mobius QTE drills up to 30 hits of Lightning DMG, summons Object X and restore one Genesis Seed

- QTE buffs Mobius Lightning DMG by 45%, and make enemies take 16% more Lightning DMG. THIS IS A UNIQUE MULTIPLIER WHICH MEANS IT IS VERY STRONG! Lasts for 16s.

THAT'S RIGHT. MOBIUS HAS TWO UNIQUE MULTIPLIERS!

Evasion Skill

Evasion skill activates 2.5s Global Time Fracture and Mobius enters submerged mode. Tap ATK to release Surging ATK, deal 110%x5 Lightning DMG and restore one Genesis Seed

Passive: Starting SP

Mobius has 36 starting SP. Combined with Lightning Empress's 70 starting sp, it's enough to allow Mobius to use Ultimate at the start of a Memorial Arena battle. This starting SP is overridden in Abyss, as usual.

✦ HOW TO PLAY

Most of Mobius damage comes from Combo ATK during Umbra of Ouroboros. So her gameplay is really simple:

1. Use QTE > Ultimate > Spam Combo ATK + Surging ATK

2. For faster nuke, you can skip Surge and just Combo > Combo > Combo. You will mostly use this one in Arena.

3. For new players, you might have sp issues.To farm sp, QTE > Spam Combo ATK + Enhanced Basic with a mixed of Basic ATK

✦ BEST TEAM

VS ANDRIUS / HOMU / PROBABLY GENERAL USES TOO

Infinite Ouroboros - Fischl - Fallen Rosemary / Azure Empyrea / Pardofelis

Team used vs Abyss Andrius. A melee support is needed to counter Andrius's transition phase.

- Mobius Fischl AE seems to be the current best team vs Andrius. Fischl uses Cerulean Flare to provide faster sp regen for Mobius and AE.

- Mobius Fischl FR was used in the past too

- Mobius Fischl Felis is just a f2p alternative with fast sp regen. FR still S0 and no PRI ARM? Dont have AE? Just use Felis or Eden

EDEN SUPPORT

Infinite Ouroboros - Fischl - Eden

This team will work fine. It's just that it seems like on every Mobius bosses, AE support will always get top score.

✦ GAMEPLAY EXAMPLE

Mobius one second kill compilation. This is outdated since some of these bosses have SSS-rank forms now. Plus, there's only one SS boss per week now, and they're easy.

✦ CONCLUSION and SHOULD YOU PULL?

Unfortunately, Mobius is not very recommended to get now. During her release, she morbs all over SS bosses, Elysian Realm mode, and there were so many Andrius boss spams, but now, she only gets to see action once or twice per patch. She will still be useful whenever Andrius boss appears.
