This guide is aimed for those who haven't done any of the Boatman quests

Intro

When doing the Boatman quest, I found myself going back and forth to the same area. And I was like, why am I doing this to myself?

Therefore, to stop you from feeling the same, I'll condense the whole quest to a single run.

Before you start this run, please make sure you have enough time to complete it.

If you care about the story, this run may ruin your experience.

Boatman Quest in a single run

First, go to the Waverider Waypoint near the Statue of the Seven. Pick up a blue conch near the shore to summon Shitoki. To finish Shitoki's quest, you need to pick up 4 conches in total (including this one).

Now, teleport north of Autake Plains. Go far west to a small island. You'll find Kito and Kina. Give them one Sakura Bloom. To finish their quest, you need to find them in 4 other locations.

Next, teleport east of Mt. Kanna, then go North. You'll find Shitoki's second conch on an altar, hidden behind breakable pots. Keep going north, and you'll find Kito and Kina nearby.

Near Kito and Kina, you'll find Rero on a slightly-higher ground. Talk to him. Rero will ask you to dig his wife's grave in Chirai Shrine.

Now, go to Chirai Shrine.

1. Ipe: Go near the water to find a fishing spot. Catch any fish there to summon him. Ipe will ask you to find a Makiri Charm he lost. We'll go to the designated spot later. Before that, make sure you have some baits of all kind ready.

2. Rero: Dig Rero's wife's grave. Defeat the Thunderhelm Lawachurl to finish Rero's quest.

3. Nonno: Find Nonno to initiate their hide and seek. We'll cover Nonno's complete location later.

Go back to Autake Plains and go west. Find Kito and Kina near a Hilichurl camp and Shitoki's conch near a shipwreck.

Now, go to the X mark to find Ipe's fishing spot. Use Peculiar Pinion to reveal the pool. Fish any fish until you get Makiri's Charm. Once that's done, go to Kito and Kina #4.

For Shitoki's last conch (#4), go inside Shirikoro Peak.

Now, go deeper until you found a tree with 5 Fluorescent Fungus around it. There's also a mural and torch puzzle, as a landmark. Take all the fungi to spawn Abe.

For Abe's quest, come back after 48h and harvest the fungus again.

Finally, find Kito and Kina in the final spot. They're hiding inside a cave near the sandy area.

Go to the Statue of the Seven to finish Shitoki's quest. They'll hand you a treasure map that leads to a Precious Chest.

Go inside Mt. Kanna and find a "dig" button near two rocks with a Thunderbird Statue next to them. You need to find the treasure to finish Shitoki's quest.

Nonno

Go back to Chirai Shrine and talk to Ipe to finish his quest. Now, we'll find Nonno in 4 other spots.

Una

To help Una, you need to talk to her for five days. You also need to finish Kito and Kina's quest to help her.

Chise

To help Chise, light up all the Stormstones between the two Teleport Waypoints in Autake Plains. Any Stormstones outside the area don't have to be activated.

Boatman

After finishing everyone's quest, go back to the Boatman. There'll be a small cutscene of every ghosts going with the Boatman. You'll get the Lovely Sights, Further Than the Eye Can See achievement, along with a Precious Chest.
