With this passive, Jade Knight can apply Newton-B, Mei-M, Jin-2pc, Cezanne-B, Sushang-T from off field.

Back Wind Slash is registered as Combo DMG (not Ultimate), so Jade Knight can’t refresh Aslaug duration from off field. Jade Knight needs to be on the field to apply Margrave/Adler/Aslaug/Sushang-B by using her Ultimate.

Addition, “Sushang” or “Sus” in this article is Jade Knight’s signature stigmata [Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence], not Senti’s stigmata [Sushang: M].

Missing Li Sushang-M?

If you have Sushang-TB but missing Sushang-M, you are quite lucky. You can fill M-slot with:

Mei Beach Party-M = single target

Jin Shengtan-M = multi target

Paganini-M = against tough-shielded enemies (+50% DMG to shield)

Mei Beach Party-M can perform well on Jade Knight. As I said before, Jade Knight can apply Mei-M from off field. But if you use Cezanne-B on Pardo, Mei-M value will drop.

Missing Li Sushang-T?

Sushang-T can buff team, while Sushang-M effect is only for the host. Sushang-MB still can work, but not as good as Sushang-TB. Even Turgenev-TB + Mei-M is better than Sushang-MB.

If you don’t have Turgenev and want to use Sushang-MB, you can use Adler-T or Gluttony-T. Although Gluttony-T in this video still can be improved a bit, I still prefer Adler-T for easier use and consistency. Also, Gluttony-T on Jade Knight is not as good as Gluttony-T on Herrscher of Sentience.

Missing Li Sushang-B?

If you have Sushang-TM but missing Sushang-B, that’s sad. Just use other set~

Sushang stigma core is in B-piece AND 2pc. Sushang-B to activate Reinforcement state (team buff), and 2pc to apply debuff to enemy when team is in Reinforcement state. 2pc effect only can active if using Sushang-B. Using Sushang-TM without Sushang-B is like using Sushang-T only.

Single Piece Li Sushang?

Turgenev-TB is Jade Knight’s best alternative set. It can be combined with good M-piece such as Mei-M, Jin-M, or Paganini-M for shield breaking. If you only have 1 Sushang piece, keep it in your bag and use TurgenevTB + MeiM/PagaM/JinM. Single piece Sushang stigma is not that strong.

Sushang-M only buffs the host, no team effect, bad as single piece.

Sushang-T is good, better than Adler-T and Gluttony-T as single piece. But if you combine Sushang-T with Turgenev-MB, you’ll lose strong effect from M-piece (such as Mei-M or Paganini-M or Jin-M).

Worse case for Sushang-B. Single piece Sushang-B is actually decent, but many stigma sets need their own B-piece (Turgenev, Margrave, Adler, Aslaug). You can’t replace their B-piece with Sushang-B.

Removing some data to simplify the graph

Note:

Enemy in this test doesn’t have shield. When facing enemy with strong shield, Sushang-TMB’s performance will improve, increasing the gap with alternatives.

Sushang-TB Mei-M will be below 97% because the shield breaking will be slower.

You can replace Mei-M with Paganini-M to improve shield-breaking efficiency, but Sushang-TB Paga-M won’t reach 97% too because you already lose debuff from Mei-M.

In short, when facing enemy with strong shield, gap between Sushang-TMB with any alternatives will be bigger than data above.

WEAPON COMPARISON

Now I use Elf Elysia and change the initial SP to 90. With 90 initial SP, Jade Knight automatically gets 120 SP.

Any stigmata in this video has no extra SP regen, so we can ignore SP for stigmata test. But for this weapon test, there is noticeable SP regen difference that we can’t ignore. Not only has high SP regen, Jade Knight signature weapon also has the advantage below.

Bolt Slash x3 + tap [ATK] = B–B–B–A = Back Wind Slash = 20 SP

(B = ULT ****on; A = ATK ****on)

Jade Knight can restore 20 SP by unleashing Combo ATK [Back Wind Slash] (off-field Back Wind Slash can’t regen SP). Without her signature weapon, Jade Knight must use B-B-B-A to unleash on-field [Back Wind Slash].

With signature weapon, process is faster even if we count weapon active animation.

[Signature weapon active animation + on-field Back Wind Slash] is faster than [B-B-B-A].

After signature weapon active, Jade Knight can directly connect to on-field [Back Wind Slash] by pressing A without B-B-B.

Using 1 Back Wind Slash, Jade Knight with Cosmic Duality gets lower SP and lower team DMG even with slightly longer battle duration.

Using 2 Back Wind Slash, Jade Knight with Cosmic Duality gets high SP but battle duration becomes much longer.

1 or 2 Back Wind Slash will depend on situation. Need more SP or need faster rotation.

This test is using S0 Jade Knight. At SS, Jade Knight will get SP regen improvement. 1 Back Wind Slash should be enough for SS Jade Knight.

SUMMARY

Signature Weapon

Without this, Jade Knight’s SP regen will be lower and/or rotation will be longer. SS Jade Knight will be needed for faster SP regen.

Signature Stigmata-B & 2pc

Both are needed. Without Sus-B or Sus-2pc effect, just use the other stigmata.

Alternative Stigmata

Turgenev-TB (with Mei-M or Paganini-M or Jin-M) is best alternative. Only Sushang-TMB and Sushang-TB can beat this.
