Elysian Realm Guide - Jade Knight

In this guide, I'll go over Jade Knight's, or Sushang's, performance in the Elysian Realm, her signets and a recommended build. This guide will look specifically at the Elysian Realm, and so may not apply to other game modes.
Gear:
Sushang's signature weapons are Nocturnal Stealth and its PRI arm. The advantages they have are SP regen and connecting the weapon skill with Back Wind Slash, plus some damage buffs. In the realm, SP regen isn't a big issue, and connecting into Back Wind Slash isn't overly important, so the main difference is damage. Thus while Sushang isn't reliant on her weapon for her attack cycle, damage suffers a lot since there are no other Ice dmg Fist weapons.
For stigmata, Sushang's main set is support focused, but still helps her damage greatly and so is an option. Other options include Ana Shariac or the new Willows set, though the new set is more for HoR. Buffs to look out for are Combo attack damage or SP regen/spending buffs.

Basic Summary
Jade Knight is a PSY-type ice damage dealer with a high cost Ultimate, and who can enter Sword Array stance with different attacks. Since this is a new and somewhat complicated character, I'll showcase the different moves she has below.

Moves:
Opening and Wrath -- These are the 1st and 4th sequences respectively of her basic attack. They have different effects and animations depending on whether ATK or ULT is pressed.

Attack sequence when pressing ATK

Attack sequence when pressing ULT
The 4th sequence can also be chained into the 3rd by pressing the opposite ****on (eg if ULT was pressed for the 4th seq, pressing ATK will use the 3rd seq)

ULT 4th seq into ATK 3rd seq (note the ****ons being pressed)
Blade Sanction -- The bar at the bottom, with a max of 200. 20 is gained per normal attack, with the 4th seq restoring an extra 40, for a total of 60. Ultimate Evasions generate 60 Blade Sanction.
At 200 Blade Sanction, Sushang can cast Wild Swords and enter Sword Array.

Casting Wild Swords at max Blade Sanction to enter Sword Array
Sword Array costs 1 Blade Sanction every 0.2s. Pressing ATK casts Cloud Cutter. Other actions can also cast Cloud Cutter, such as Ultimate Evasion or Bolt Slash at S2.

ATK in Sword Array, casting Cloud Cutter
Pressing ULT casts Bolt Slash, and after casting it 3 times, it can be chained into Back Wind Slash by pressing ATK, which restores a large amount of SP. Each Bolt Slash costs 20 Blade Sanction to use, or 10 if you have S2 Sushang.

ULT x3 > ATK, casting Bolt Slash then Back Wind Slash
Evading while in Sword Array will cast Airy Shadow, where Sushang will blink between swords. Getting hit will automatically trigger Ultimate Evasion (if a charge is available).

Evading while in Sword Array
Holding ATK in Sword Array will end Sword Array, reset Blade Sanction to 0, and cast Heart Piercer. In other game modes, Sushang can be switched out while this is being cast, similar to Carole's Ultimate.

Heart Piercer, cast by holding attack, resets Blade Sanction to 0
Lastly, Sushang's Ultimate, Blade Eminence, costs a minimum of 150SP, with a 20s CD. She can spend up to 25SP more (total of 175) to increase the damage done and buffs given. It is cast by holding down ULT at any time, and in the Realm, it also fully restores Blade Sanction.

Special Adjustments
Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.
Sushang's Special Adjustments are:
- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent
This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.
- During Sword Array, Jade Knight's Ultimate Evasion is triggered when Ultimate Evasion charge is full. This then tri***** [Back Wind Slash].
This allows you to manually trigger the Ultimate evasion, though it seems to only work if all evasion charges are full. It can then be chained into Back Wind Slash by pressing ATK.
- Her Ultimate restores all Blade Sanction
This helps with spamming more Ults as Sushang has much higher SP regen in Sword Array.
- Gain 50% Total Damage Reduction

Exclusive Signets
Sushang's exclusive signets involve Blade Sanction, the Sword Array attacks, and her Ultimate. Due to the high cost of her Ultimate, some of them also increase SP regen.
Blessing of Great Blade

Blessing of Cloudwalker

Blessing of Shaft

Blessing of Smoky Waft

Blessing of Jade Moon

Recommended Signets
(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)
- Exclusive Signets -
Most important:
Blessing of Great Blade
[Great Blade] adds the most damage out of the signets, together with also adding tons of combo hits, allowing for Su to be used. The attack also has a small AoE. This signet gives enough damage to make it to the guaranteed 2nd Elysia signet, but you can also choose to use the [T***** Crown] sigil to have a stronger start.
Second choice:
Blessing of Cloudwalker > Blessing of Jade Moon
[Cloudwalker] buffs Cloud Cutter, which is the attack that [Great Blade] multiplies by 2-3, which further increases damage. It also buffs the moves used when entering and exiting Sword Array, and auto-casts [Heart Piercer], the finisher when exiting.
If you don't take the [T***** Crown] sigil, you might have the option to take a third Elysia signet, which should be [Jade Moon]. This signet reduces the Ult CD when casting Back Wind Slash, which can be done by either using the signature weapon skill, evading with full evasion charges in Sword Array, or using Bolt Slash 3 times. You only need to use it once for the timing to work, so the best option is the weapon skill. If you don't have the weapon, evasion is also an option, but only if evasion charges are full. Bolt Slash is only if you don't have other options, because it takes the longest. Additionally, if you use it more than 5s after the Ult, it will cost Blade Sanction, which is better to keep for Cloud Cutter.
Last choice:
Blessing of Smoky Waft >= Blessing of Shaft
[Smoky Waft] and [Shaft] are quite similar, both increase SP regen and damage of one move. [Smoky Waft] is slightly better as it can help early on in battles to gain Blade Sanction, letting you enter Sword Array faster. Both of them are generally unnecessary though.
- Flame Chaser Signets -
Su (2nd Core)
Sushang can stack combo hits very fast with Cloud Cutter, which also allows her to get Su's buffs very fast. The offensive buffs are the best options, the combo hit buffs help with charging the Remembrance Sigil faster, and the SP regen helps with Eden's 1st core (if taken).
The enhanced signets are decent but not needed.
Eden (2nd Core > 1st Core)
Sushang has both a high cost Ult and high SP regen, making either Eden core viable. At 150-175 SP cost, the 2nd core will last about 17-18s, and it has a CD of 20s without any reduction.
The starting SP signet is useless on Sushang due to one of her skills always setting her starting SP to 120 if it's below that, which overrides Eden's signet. Other than that, the offensive signets are good, though the SP regen feels excessive.
For either core, the enhanced signets are nice, but nothing special.
Other
Hua (2nd Core)
Hua is a good general signet choice, especially because Sushang can auto-trigger her evasions before getting hit (in Sword Array), making it less likely to take hits.
Kalpas (2nd Core)
Kalpas is similar to Hua, a general signet, good because Sushang doesn't get hit much.
Kevin (1st Core)
Kevin can work to buff the Ult and attacks soon after using the Ult, but because of the long CD I wouldn't recommend it that much. If you do take it, it's best to have [Jade Moon] and go for the signet that increases the duration of the core effect.
Sakura (1st > 2nd)
Sakura would theoretically work for Sushang, but she only auto-tri***** evasions when getting hit, so it's not as good as other valkyries. It does happen pretty frequently, it's just that you can't really control when it happens. The benefits of the 1st core are better buffs and Ult CD reduction.
The 2nd core can also work to help gain more Blade Sanction, because Sushang can chain her Ultimate Evasion into the 4th seq attack for lots of Blade Sanction.
If you rely on the evasion to chain into Back Wind Slash, then avoid the signet that adds another charge. Since the Back Wind Slash option is only when all evasion charges are full, adding more charges makes that less likely.
- Playstyle -
At the start, you can either use LE support for SP to cast the Ult for instant Blade Sanction, or just attack until you have enough SP. If you have enough Blade Sanction before the Ult SP, enter Sword Array then immediately cast the finisher before using the Ult.
After that, you can enter Sword Array and start spamming Cloud Cutter. If you have [Jade Moon], remember to cast Back Wind Slash at least once.
If you have [Jade Moon], the CD should end just in time to finish Sword Array and immediately use it again. Otherwise, you can just use normal attacks a few times while waiting.
- Support Valkyries -
LE support is good for starting SP if you want to use the Ult faster, though it's less recommended if you take [T***** Crown] because you won't be able to switch her out.
AE, Haxxor, and Pardo can all be used as support buffers, with AE and Pardo also helping with SP regen.
- Remembrance Sigils -
One option is [T***** Crown] for the extra Elysia signet at the start, together with [Empty Like Shala]
If you don't choose that, then you can take [Because of You] for the guaranteed Elysia signet. Then switch to [Empty Like Shala] later. For general signets start with [Light as a Bodhi Leaf], switch as needed, and end with [Tin Flask]

I have been allowed into beta again this is amazing thank you mhy
I'm trying to work on a Griseo guide now that I have access to her weapon, but beta is ending soon and it's still midterm season so no promises.
