Li Sushang's brand new battlesuit, Jade Knight, enters the Elysian realm. This guide aims to make you comfortable with Sushang's kit in and out of ER, I will explain in detail her inputs and terminology but if you want you can just scroll through to look at images that will summarize it all.
Sushang has 2 main playstyles(Cloud Cutter and Bolt Slash)and in this guide we are covering the strongest one in my opinion: Cloud cutter.
For starters let me explain her kit and terminology to breeze through her Ego Signets.
Sword Array is performed by holding ATK when Sword Sanction is full.
in this mode her kit changes and she will perform Cloud cutter by tapping ATK
Or Bolt Slash by tapping ULT.
Every 3 Bolt Slashes lets you perform Back wind Slash by tapping ATK when it lights up, Back Wind Slash can also be triggered when casting her signature weapon skill in SA mode. When JK is hit in SA mode she will consume an evasion attempt to perform Back wind Slash.
During SA mode you can Hold atk to perform Heart Piercer(Combo finisher) which will fully deplete the sword.
Last but not least, Using ultimate will fully replenish your sword.
Now let's briefly explain what her ego signets do.
This signet is your go to when you want to play with Cloud cutter, I pick it at the start.
This is your life saver when playing with Cloud cutter, basically your Combo finisher is automatically cast and its damage is exponentially higher, also form of gather but not the reason you pick this. Get it as soon as possible as a second choice after Great Blade, but I advise against using Ely's support sigil as you don't need other ego signets.
This works with both Cloud cutter and Bolt slash playstyles but it doesn't make that much of a difference, take it if you don't have any other choice, otherwise I'd skip it.
These two go hand in hand with Bolt slash playstyle, you should probably reset for ego door at the start as one without the other is pretty weak, Jade moon lets you spam ultimate and Shaft increases Bolt slash damage exponentially.
Now for general signets, I like to take 1,3 and 5 Discipline signets with its second core and complete with enhanced signets.
I also recommend buying Kalpas and Fuhua signets but if you do so make sure to take Fuhua 2's core otherwise they're not worth it, also if you do buy Kalpas signets and keep your health low just make sure to get Fuhua 2 before heimdall, if you can't manage then eat a biscuit in the shop... you'll need it.
Other signets important to note are Griseo's and Su's which work very well with her, especially yellow, red and orange.
For Valk supports keep BR and LE throughout the run and change LE to BKE to fight heimall.
Be careful though, Sushan's passive will make her start at 120 sp but it's not immediate, if you use LE before the passive occurs, the sp will be overwritten and LE's skill will be wasted completely.
