Hey, Captains! Today we are going to be taking a look at the 5★ gacha Gauntlet weapon, Nocturnal Stealth, introduced in v6.1. Nocturnal Stealth is a Ice-DMG Gauntlet-type weapon designed for Jade Knight. In this guide, we will review the weapon’s functionalities and where it excels best at. For the sake of convenience, the following will be abbreviated in this guide:

Since NS is the first ever gauntlet that is Ice DMG focused (as well as 5★ and Support), there’s only so many gauntlets to compare against it. Other 5★ gauntlets that can provide some support or is F2P would be compared with NS. PRI-ARMs were not included in this guide’s comparison for the Captains who are Lv.80 and below.
✦ Team Composition(s)
Because JK is the only Ice Gauntlet wielder as well as the designated user for NS, she will be the primary tester of the weapons. The team designed for testing encompass** the latest Ice team while also only using 5★ weapons.
✦ Test Results
After testing, the best Lv.50 weapon for JK is clearly NS. NS surpassed the other weapons in performance by ~11%. For the others, they all performed nearly the same, so the effects are almost negligible. Do note that JB’s team buff may come to help the team more than ND and GTX.

Jade Knight (JK)
As the signature weapon of JK, NS is best wielded by JK herself. JK synergizes well with the Ice weapon. As mentioned before in this guide, it’s recommended to either
✦ cast the WA skill (doesn’t matter if the casting lands a hit) so Torrent will max out the 2-pc effect of Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence by the time your DPS switches in.
✦ and/or cast the WA skill while JK is in Sword Array so she can perform Back Wind Slash for SP-recovery and DMG buffs.
Note that NS’s Ice DMG team buff isn’t restricted to any battlesuit. So if you have Azure Empyrea but not Nebulous Duality, you can equip NS to Azure Empyrea for your Ice teams.

✦ Closing thoughts ✦
NS is the JK’s signature weapon and is best wielded by JK.
✦ The Ice DMG team buff NS provides quite high, lasts a while, and isn’t restricted to any battlesuits.
✦ The gloves also synergize well with the 2-pc effect of Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence.
✦ With the SP-recovery NS provides for JK, from its Dim Dawn passive skill and the Back Wind Slash makes it a must-have for the SP-demanding JK battlesuit.
Therefore, Nocturnal Stealth is highly recommended for Jade Knight havers.
