✦ OVERVIEW

1. POWERFUL FARMABLE ICE SUPPORT

Jade Knight is a farmable S-rank ICE support. She provides huge Ice buff, Elemental Breach (for ice valks only), Shieldbreak, with some sub-dps damage. Sushang will be replacing Haxxor Bunny / Azure Empyrea in Ice teams (in most cases).

2. NEED AT LEAST NOCTURNAL FIST

As for gears, her signature fist Nocturnal fist is really important for sp regen since Sushang's Ultimate has a high 150-175 sp cost. Also give team ice and tdm buff.

3. STIGMA IS STRONG

Sushang stigma is also op - currently the strongest ice support stigma. You want at least 2PC Bottom + Top/Mid. But of course, if you can't get it, you can try Turgenev as your substitute.

In this section, I will be going through some of Sushang's skills. This serves as a reference for players. If you are already familiar with her abilities, you can skip to the next sections.

BASIC ATK / EVASION

You don't use Basic ATK or Evasion in normal gameplay so I will skip this.

QTE

Entering the battle via QTE will make Sushang enter Sword Array mode. During Sword Array, Sushang has new attacks, and all of them count as Combo ATK.

- QTE trigger: Enemy hit by Combo ATK or teammate uses Ultimate.

- Also tri***** 3s Time Fracture

CLOUD CUTTER (Tap ATK)

Tap ATK to unleash Cloud Cutter - launch ranged sword attacks. You usually don't use this in normal gameplay, only in Elysian Realm.

BOLT SLASH (Tap ULT)

Tap ULT to unleash Bolt Slash - powerful multi-hit sword attacks, consume meter. Bolt Slash sequence also fires Cloud Cutter. After using Bolt Slash three times, ATK ****on will glow, press it to unleash Back Wind Slash attack. (BBBA)

- On hit, this attack restores 20 sp for Sushang, and an additional 5 sp at SS-rank. The entire sequence recover tons of sp for Sushang.

- Back Wind Slash buff: All team members' non-Burst mode Ranged ATK gain Ice DMG +40%[S0] / 50%[SS2], last 10s, refreshable.

- In three support team, spam this combo to deal damage.

BACK WIND SLASH (OFF-FIELD)

Back Wind Slash can also be activated while Sushang is off-field. When teammate Combo/Charge hits an enemy, or weapon active is used, Sushang will use Back Wind Slash from off the field.

- This does not activate the 5 sp recovery effect.

- This activates stigma effects such as NewtonB, Turgenev2PC, CezanneB, Jinshengtan2PC and more

WEAPON ACTIVE > BACK WIND SLASH

When equipped with her signature weapon Nocturnal Stealth: Beam, after you use weapon active, you can immediately follow up with Back Wind Slash

SWORD ARRAY FINISHER

During Sword Array, hold ATK ****on to use Heart Piercer, unleashing a barrage of Sword attacks. This ends Sword Array mode. You can switch to another valk during its animation.

- Wild Swords and Heart Piercer (Sword Array opening and finisher) grant team Ranged, Basic and Burst mode ATK Ice DMG +10[SS1] / 20%[SSS] for 18s

- Trigger 3s Time Fracture

- At SSS-rank, Heart Piercer hits deal 2 extra dmg on shields that take fixed damage (like Husk, HoS and Jizo)

ULTIMATE (150-175 SP, CD: 20s)

Ultimate skill is where all juicy buffs at. Summons a powerful Edge of Taixuan attack, pauses timer, and give Ice team member Elemental Breach, shield break and more. Ultimate costs 150 sp, but Sushang can consume up to 25 more sp to gain self-buff and Team Ice DMG buff by an equal amount.

List of team buffs:

- Elemental Breach +14% [S] / 17% [SS] for 18s (Ice valkyries only)

- Up to Team Ice DMG +25% [S] (Ice DMG +1% for every extra sp consumed over 150 sp. Max 25)

- Team Shieldbreak +25% [SS] for 18s

PASSIVE: ONE TIME 120 SP

Sushang starts the battle with 120 initial sp. This is a one-time effect and activates upon entry.

Works in Arena and Abyss.

LEAD SKILL

Team’s Basic ATK gain Total DMG +10/12/14%. If entire team is ice valk, Team Ice DMG +24/26/28%

In 3 support team, just spam BBBA

✦ RECOMMENDED WEAPON AND STIGMA

STIGMA AFFIX

- Since Sushang buffs Ice team the more sp she uses for Ultimate, avoid sp cost reduction affix.

- This is also good for Herrscher of Human since she gets buffs based on her teammate's sp consumption.

- Go for ATK or SP recovery instead.

✦ TEAM and LINEUP EXAMPLE

NEW ICE TEAM

ICE DPS - REVERIST CALICO - JADE KNIGHT

This is the new standard ice team starting in 6.1~

- Pardofelis is an essential member as she provides sp recovery for the team, and various buffs and debuffs.

- Sushang provides powerful ice buffs, Elemental Breach, shield break, and off-field damage.

3 SUPPORT TEAM

REVERIST CALICO - JADE KNIGHT - HAXXOR BUNNY

3 support team~ Completely viable to a certain extent! Who should be the active DPS on the field? Well, it depends.

- Against neutral or MECH-type enemies (Hephaestus, Benares) then Sushang should be the active DPS.

- Against IMG or BIO enemies (HoD, FGOtto, Huodou) or your Sushang is still S0-rank or doesn't have Sushang/DPS stigma, then Felis can be the active DPS.

Note: A bit theoretical. Maybe Sushang is better as active dps in any situation.

NYX TEAM

STARCHASM NYX - JADE KNIGHT - HAXXOR BUNNY

Nyx's best team was apparently Azure Empyrea + Haxxor Bunny even when Felis existed so Jade Knight replaces Azure Empyrea in this case.

- Why does Nyx still want HB support? HB's high hit count attacks trigger extra damage proc and deal big damage through Nyx's enemy link mechanic.

- Of course, if you are from the future reading this and still wanna play Nyx even though she's outdated, instead of farming Haxxor Bunny, you can still just use Felis over Haxxor Bunny.
