Nocturnal Stealth: Beam PRI-ARM Guide by Reinbex

Hey, Captains! Today we are going to be taking a look at the new PRI-ARM, Nocturnal Stealth: Beam, introduced in v6.1. Nocturnal Stealth: Beam is the PRI-ARM version of Nocturnal Stealth and is a Ice-DMG Gauntlet-type weapon designed for Jade Knight. In this guide, we will review the weapon’s functionalities and where it excels best at. For the sake of convenience, the following will be abbreviated in this guide:

Upon hitting lv81+, you can access PRI-ARMs. To obtain and max out NSB, you’ll need:
✦ 400 Einstein’s Torus
✦ 150 Nanoceramic
✦ 520 SC Metal-H2
✦ Any Lvl.50 gacha-able Gauntlet
✦ Nocturnal Stealth unlocked in your library
PRI-ARM craft option is located in the foundry.

NSB is the first ever Ice DMG oriented Gauntlet PRI-ARM. Since NSB is best for Ice teams, only other PRI-ARMs that can support an Ice team in some manner or form will be compared towards NSB.
However… none of the existing PRI-ARM gauntlets fulfill that criteria. Therefore all other PRI-ARMs will be compared against NSB. Naturally Nocturnal Stealth, NSB’s predecessor, will also be included in the test to observe the DMG differences after PRI-ARMing.
✦ Team Composition(s)
Because NSB is the signature weapon/PRI-ARM of JK (and JK is the only Ice Gauntlet-wielder), JK will be the primary tester of the previously mentioned weapons. With these tests, we can observe how well JK would perform with NSB as opposed to other potential substitutes.
✦ Test Results
From the tests, the team performed best when JK is equipped with NSB. Behind in second place is the 5★ weapon NS. This shows how influential the 5★ is as opposed to the random PRI-ARMs in 3rd place and below. The other PRI-ARMs, apart from CD, performed about the same. Cosmic Duality performed better most likely due to its higher ATK stat of 430.

Jade Knight (JK)
The best battlesuit to equip NSB is obviously JK. The bonuses that the weapon offers synergize perfectly with her, not to mention there are JK-specific buffs. Recommended WA-skill casting moments are:
✦ A bit before your DPS comes in so Torrent will max out the 2-pc effect of Li Sushang: Shenzhou Reminiscence.
✦ and/or when JK needs SP; in Sword Array mode so that Back Wind Slash can recover SP and provide a team non-Burst Ice buff.
If your Ice team has Azure Empyrea but Nebulous Duality or Cosmic Duality, you equip NSB to her for DMG buffs. Note that you will still lack SP-recovery in this case.

✦ Closing thoughts ✦
NSB is the PRI-ARM successor of NS and signature weapon of the new Ice Support battlesuit JK.
✦ Not much has changed but is still of high importance:
Only Torrent’s DMG values were slightly increased. However, the skills are still crucial in SP-Recovery, team Ice DMG, and maxing out Li Sushang - Shenzhou Reminiscence 2-pc effect.
✦ New passive effect is a good nice touch to what is already good:
The 2nd passive effect provides good Combo-only Ice DMG and team Total DMG buffs.
While Nocturnal Stealth: Beam doesn’t have too many flashy effects, it’s a must-have and highly recommended for the SP-demanding Jade Knight.
