Elysian Realm Guide - Herrscher of Truth
In this guide, I'll go over Herrscher of Truth's (aka HoTruth), performance in the Elysian Realm, her signets and a recommended build. This guide will look specifically at the Elysian Realm, and so may not apply to other game modes.
Gear:
While the weapon skills can be used no matter what weapon is equipped, Key/Domain of ascension is still ideal and highly recommended for the extra Mech Propulsion, high damage, and easier weapon unlocks.
If you don't have them, other good weapons are Falcon Flare, Key of Reason, Star of Eden (Ice), or their respective PRI versions.
The best set is the new Bronya set, but other good options are Elysia Pristine, Ana Sharia, or Willows. Welt Yang or even N-EX could also work.

Basic Summary + Moveset
Herrscher of Truth is an IMG-type ice damage dealer. Since this is a new character, I'll go through the different moves and attacks below.
Moves:
Extremum Form -- The standard form of HoTruth, has a 4 sequence basic attack. While in this form, can unlock weapons with the 4th seq basic attack, combo attack, or weapon active if you have Key/Domain of Ascension.
4 sequence basic attack in Extremum form. The last hit unlocks one weapon.
Continuation Form -- Activated by tapping the Ult button while in Extremum form, has a 3 seq basic attack. Lasts 20s, and can charge Mech Propulsion from basic attacks and evasions to cast combo attack.
Both Extremum and Continuation forms count as Herrscher forms
3 sequence basic attack in Continuation form. Recovers 5/10 Mech Propulsion per hit.
Weapons -- HoTruth has 3 weapons to unlock, missiles, lasers, and hover guns. These are shown at the bottom of the screen and can be unlocked by various moves in Extremum form, and improve various attacks in both forms.
Weapon Skill -- Similar to chakram and bow users, HoTruth's weapon skills mostly don't depend on what weapon is equipped, with the exception of a few effects, like Key/Domain of Ascension unlocking a weapon when the skill is used.
The effects of the weapon skills are different depending on the form.
Weapon skill in Extremum form. If using Key/Domain of Ascension, unlocks a weapon.
Weapon skill in Continuation form. Using Key/Domain of Ascension, restores 50 Propulsion
Combo Attack -- Combo attack in Extremum form can be cast by holding attack after the 4th seq basic attack, QTE or attacking after ultimate evasion. Combo attack in Continuation form can be cast by attacking once Mech Propulsion is at max (100).

Combo attack in Continuation form.
Ultimate Evasion -- Ultimate Evasion can be connected to 4th seq basic attack then combo attack in Extremum form. In Continuation form, Ultimate Evasion skill can be used with a normal evasion, it fires missiles and restores Mech Propulsion.
Ultimate Evasion in Continuation form, auto cast when evading.
Ultimate -- Ultimate can only be cast when in Continuation form and costs 125 SP.
Ultimate, deals 10x100% ATK Ice damage, pauses timers
Salvo/Return Brake -- Cast when entering Continuation form. Salvo is cast the first time of the battle, and Return Brake is cast every time after that.
After leaving Continuation form, the mecha will generate a black hole, doing damage and gathering enemies
Return Brake, used when entering Continuation form after the first time
Continuation form ending, summons Black Hole. Also used when switching out during the form
Special Adjustments
Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.
Herrscher of Truth's Special Adjustments are:
- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent
This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.
- All weapons are unlocked in the beginning
This helps with quicker starts, and lets you go straight into Continuation mode without having to unlock weapons.
- Ultimate enters a 5s CD after entering a Continuation form. Casting Ultimate Evasion Skill, Combo ATK or weapon active in Continuation form allows the next Ultimate ATK to deal an additional 1000% ATK of Ice DMG. Another type of weapon will also be unlocked after Continuation form ends. This effect can be triggered up to 3 times each Continuation form.
This means that you can't cast the Ult immediately after entering Continuation mode. It's also better to cast the Ult right at the end so it gets the most buffs, especially considering some of the exclusive signets that end Continuation form upon casting the Ult.
- Casting Ultimate in Continuation form resets Return Brake CD
Normally Return Brake (entering Continuation form) has a 15s CD. This usually doesn't matter because Continuation form lasts 20s. However, in the realm, Ultimates can end the form early and so they also reset the CD for Return Brake.
- Casting Combo ATK in Continuation form recovers 200 HP for herself
- Total DMG increases by 30% in Extremum and Continuation forms
Small bonuses to better balance the Valkyrie
Exclusive Signets
Herrscher of Truth's exclusive signets are focused on Continuation form, mostly the Ult and combo/weapon skills. The two signets that say "leave the mecha" end Continuation form after using the Ult.

Recommended Signets
(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)
- Exclusive Signets -
Most important:
Blessing of Continuation
[Continuation] is one of the core signets of the run, the second being [Konstruktion]. [Continuation] is taken first because the extra Mech Propulsion and CD reset after using a combo attack allow for better cycling, but [Konstruktion] is also very important for damage.
Second choice:
Blessing of Konstruktion > Blessing of Vector
In 6.3's cycle of Elysian Realm, even non-Flame Chasers can take 2 Elysia signets at the start. Thus, you can take [Continuation] and [Konstruktion] together. Otherwise, try to get an Elysia portal as soon as possible, because [Konstruktion] is very important.
[Konstruktion] is the other core signet for the run, providing most of the damage from the missiles and enemy debuffs. It also adds gather, which is nice to have.
[Vector] is a good general option, the third choice for either a weapon build (like this one) or an Ult build. It buffs the damage of both weapon skills and Ultimates, as well as making insta-killing Nihilus seeds easier. Normally, HoTruth can insta-kill with only her Continuation form combo attack when a seed is at 20% health. This signet expands that to include weapon skill and Ultimate as well, and kills seeds at 40% health or lower.
Last choice:
Blessing of Genuine Solution or Blessing of Intellect Core
Both of these signets are more suited to Ultimate builds, they are good to take for weapon builds as well, as you would want to end off with an Ult, but they aren't the main focus.
Since we won't use the Ult very frequently, they're both about equal in usefulness, so it's up to preference which one you take first (if any).
- Flame Chaser Signets -
Vill-V (2nd Core)
Since the build revolves around weapon skills, Vill-V is a top choice. The best one is [Act I], raising the damage of weapon skills. The enhanced signets are also always good.
Su (2nd Core)
HoTruth gets a lot of combo hits from all her different weapons. Su can make good use of this, and Su's SP signet can even help with SP regen to use the Ult more. Both the damage buffs and combo hit buffs are helpful as well, generally all of Su's basic signets are helpful.
Other
Eden (2nd Core)
Eden's 2nd core can be good if you plan on using the Ult a lot, since it costs 125SP. This will last about 16s, which is just about enough time to get another one ready, assuming 2 weapon skills used in between and enough SP regen. Eden can also help with SP regen, but Su is probably better for that.
Mobius (1st Core)
Entering and exiting Continuation form summons an entity (the Mech and Project Bunny), so Mobius signets can get some use. Buffing summoned entity damage would help Project Bunny, but it's only on the field during Extremum mode so having valkyrie buffs might be more helpful.
Switching between forms is also not super frequent unless you have one of the two Ult Elysia signets and enough SP to use it often.
Also consider:
Hua, Kalpas, and Aponia are good general signet options
Griseo is better for an Ult build but still a good option
Sakura can be used because the Evasion can be cast on command, but it's a bit infrequent
- Playstyle -
Before getting good SP regen and Ult signets, you can use 2 weapon skills per Continuation form, then end with an Ult if able.
After, you can try to use 1 weapon skill then Ult.
For either one, start with a combo attack and evade, then weapon skill and another combo attack. Either repeat with another weapon skill or use the Ult, depending on which one.
Then, enter Continuation form again and repeat.
- Support Valkyries -
Azure Empyrea is a good support, I also like using Haxxor, but Felis, Blood Rose, etc are also good.
If you want more Ults before getting good SP regen, use Lightning Empress.
- Remembrance Sigils -
General: Vill-V's [Pseudo Miracle], switch as needed and end with [Faraway Ship]
Support: Start with [Because of You], switch to [Falling in Past Light] or [Empty Like Shala] after using it
-- Quick alternate Ult build --
Genuine Solution > Intellect Core > Vector > Konstruktion > Continuation
Needs about 2-3 Elysia signets to work
Kevin (1st), Eden (2nd), Su (2nd) or Griseo (2nd > 1st)
Enter Continuation > Combo + Evade > Weapon Skill > Ult > Repeat
LE support for SP is more important for this build
