✦New Battlesuit: Sweet 'n' Spicy✦
"This post-Honkai era girl is spunky, sassy, and free-spirited. A true cr**** will shape her into a trustworthy soldier."
Carole debuts as a MECH-type Physical SP melee support. She fights with mechanical fists and can leap into the air to knock enemies onto the ground. As leader, her entire team receives Total DMG and Melee Physical DMG buffs. When Carole casts her Ultimate, you can switch to other team members, and she will stay on the field until the Ultimate ends.

The new gears to the game bring forth more ways to provide your team with Physical/Total DMG and Shield-breaking capabilities! Starting in v5.3, shield breaking will be more prominent than ever!
✦Idol Raven Stigmata set✦
In v4.8’s Late 2021 Spring Faction War and Idol Contest, Raven came out as the number one pick and winner! And now in v5.3, an Elemental/Total DMG stigmata set with stunning artwork will be released for free! Login for over a week to claim all three pieces!
✦New PRI-ARM Cross and Farmables✦
There will be 3 new additions to the foundry. Hekate’s Gloom will be getting a PRI-ARM upgrade, Hekate’s Sombre. In addition, Caravaggio and Wilde will be added to the list of Bounty-craftables.
✦Elysian Realm Updated✦
Sweet 'n' Spicy, Herrscher of Sentience, and Twilight Paladin (must be Augmented) have all been added to the roster of playable characters in Elysian Realm in v5.3!
There will also be a new set of [Core & 3 Enhanced] Skills for both Fu Hua and Kevin!
Earn up to 200 Crystals per playable valkyrie when you’ve reached Level 5, 10, and 15 Enhancement milestones!
✦New Enemies✦
Husk - Nihilus will be a new Memorial Arena boss, starting in v5.3! In addition, it comes with an SSS-difficulty variant!
A new airborne enemy, Rotary Wings, and Storm Templar will be making their way to the Superstring Dimension! Upon breaking their shield, the Rotary Wings will drop from the air!
✦New Story Chapter, Stigmata, and Costume✦
Chapter 27, Dusk of the Fool, will be released in v5.3. Otto's conspiracy has finally surfaced, which means that time is running out. However, the obstacles in Kolosten must be dealt with first...
Play throughout the chapter to earn yourself various rewards!
You can earn yourself the next Bringer of Light Stigmata piece, Kiana: Herrscher of Flamescion (M)! Its effects include a 15% Ice DMG passive buff and some moderate healing!
Look forward to earning yourself Fu Hua’s new Night Squire costume: Autumn Shades!
✦HoF Costume✦
Coming to v5.3 for Herrscher of Flamescion is a new costume: Time Runner!
The costume comes with completely visually-reworked color schematics, visual effects, and even audio effects!
You can obtain this costume through an outfit supply, where you pull and progress upwards towards the costume (max 9600 crystals needed)! One of the drops features an S-rank box that provides the options of selecting the card or stamps of either Argent Knight: Artemis, Herrscher of the Void, or Vermillion Knight: Eclipse!
✦APHO Chapter 2 Prologue: Before Starfall✦
The Prologue to APHO Chapter 2, Before Starfall, will be released in v5.3. The prologue connects the previous story and the upcoming Chapter 2. It tells the story from the POV of Carole and Bronya.
Before Starfall is divided into Story mode and Challenge mode. Clear Story and Challenge stages to earn Sweet 'n' Spicy Fragments and/or Crystals!
✦Events and Free HoR✦
The events “Honkai Kingdoms” and “The Day You Vanished with the Stars” revolving around “Starlit Astrologos” aka “Zhuge Kongming” will be making a temporary return! Partake in these events to relive the story of you, the Captain, trying to help and save one girl above all else!
In v5.3, players can claim a free Herrscher of Reason Card (or stamps) after completing some of the rerun events, Chapter 27, and/or APHO Chapter 2 Prologue!
There will be a top-up event once again, where the more you top-up, the more rewards you earn! Players who top-up to ~$100 USD can claim 3 Star Wish Boxes. Each Star Wish Box has the option of selecting 2 Azure Empyrea Stamps, 1 Bright Knight: Excelsis Stamp, or 80 Ancient Legacy!
✦Battle Pass✦
In v5.3’s Battle Pass, Zither’s Lament, Shuijing, Key of Reason, Welt Yang, and more Azure Empyrea Soul Fragments have been added to Elite Works!
The following prices for each item will be in Azure Cystallums:
Zither’s Lament: 12
Shuijing: 10 per piece
Key of Reason: 12
Welt Yang: 10 per piece
AE Soul Fragments x10: 2 (limit 4 purchases)
✦Misc. Additions✦
Witch’s Corridor Shop’s Pure Witch Orb section will now sell all previously listed fragments at the same time. In addition, some new listings are added, including SN Stamps and HoR Stamps!
And lastly, Dea Anchora will receive new skills for every rank-up now, instead of just the major rank-ups!
