5.3 Beta Guides
Hey Marisa here. This is 5.3 Tier List! 5.3 seems like a chill patch~
[This tier list outlines which valkyries are used often in getting top placements in EX Abyss and EX Arena. Most gacha S-rank valks are ranked at S0 unless a specific rank is shown in the pic, which indicates that their fragments can/could be acquired from non-gacha sources. A-rank valks are ranked at SSS and full gear ]
✦ NEW ADDITIONS IN 5.3✦
1. CAROLE PEPPERS: The new Physical support that specializes in breaking shields
2. HEKATE PRI-ARM: Hekate's Sombre elevated Twilight Paladin damage and performance but if you already have BK, then there's no need to raise her unless you're a Teri Teri fan. Me, personally, I've graduated into an Ely Ely fan
3. ARENA BOSSES: SS and SSS Nihilius Husk added to Arena. Herrscher of Thunder is the top scorer for this boss.
4. ABYSS BOSSES: New shield break weather! Physical Assaka also returns! Finally, Herrscher of Sentience carry is back!

✦ BOSS SCHEDULE✦
5.3 has a variety of bosses. No specific shilling.
✦ DPS TIER LIST✦
1. A-TIER: Updated the A TIER description. A-rank valks fell off really hard since the introduction of SSS bosses and as Abyss Disturbance rises. Perhaps I'll even drop the A-TIER to B TIER in future patches.
2. EXPLANATION, RECOMMENDED GEARS: Not much has changed from v5.2. Just use the 5.2 Tier List vid for explanation and some recommended gears:
✦ WHO SHOULD I PULL FIRST? ✦
[emoji][emoji][emoji]
For new players, Herrscher of Sentience (HoS) and Herrscher of Flamescion (HoF) are the best two valkyries to pull.
HoS is the backbone of every Physical team now. She's an excellent DPS and can clear most content until late game. Get her! After that, get Flamescion (and at least their weapons). Their gacha should be in 5.3
✦ SUPPORT TIER LIST✦
While most supports are free, their gears aren't. After getting Herrscher of Sentience and Flamescion, I suggest getting Shuijing for all-rounder Physical support set and Turgenev as your all-elemental support set.
✦ END✦
Hope you benefited from this tier list. A lot of effort and time has been put into research and making the images and the video. Thanks to everyone that helped not just in this tier list, but on all the guides as well. I did not consult them for all the info written here so if you disagree with any info shown here, you can discuss with me.
