★ Introduction ★

[Kiana Kaslana]

Kiana Kaslana is a new S-Rank ELF, as default she is a Fire DMG dealer, but she has the special ability to change elements (Lightning/Fire) based on the leader's attribute. She provides buffs to both elements and a bit All Elemental DMG. She has the ability to gather enemies and reduce the switch CD.

She can only be obtained by pulling in the ELF Supply.

The ELF supply costs 150 Crystals per pull and the featured ELF is guaranteed after 100 pulls.

You can't get her by throwing a tuna.

★ Skill details ★

Basic

• Kiana has two methods of attack:

Basic ATK 1: Uses the gun to fire 3 shots, deal 3x250% ATK of Fire DMG.

Basic ATK 2: Swings out the bat, deal 850% ATK of Fire DMG.

ELF recovers 1.5 SP per second in combat.

• ELF Basic ATK Total DMG +30% and has 50 more initial SP.
• [3⭐] Ultimate makes enemies take +8% more Fire and Lightning DMG for 20s.
• [3⭐] When ELF's Basic ATK hits an enemy affected by [Inflammable]/[Conductive], gain 5 SP, CD: 2s.

Ultimate

(CD: 45s, SP: 75)

• Deal 2x900% ATK of Fire DMG, gathers surrounding enemies and form a fiery zone. After 7 seconds, explode again, deal 1200% ATK of Fire DMG, gathers surrounding enemies. Ultimate reduce Valkyrie's switch CD by 8s, and all enemies on field take +12% more All Elemental DMG for 20s.
• [Team Trigger] Team leader is a Fire Valkyrie, ELF's Ultimate inflicts [Inflammable] status on enemies within the area. If Team leader is a Lightning Valkyrie, ELF’s Ultimate deals Lightning DMG, and inflicts [Conductive] status on enemies within the area. When enemies affected by [Inflammable]/[Conductive] status receive Lightning/Fire DMG from the Valkyrie, Ultimate detonates earlier, deals 1500% ATK of Fire DMG + 1500% ATK of Lightning DMG, also inflict [Inflammable]/[Conductive] status on enemies for 20s.
• Ultimate and second explosion, increase team All Elemental DMG +10%, for 12s. Duration can be refreshed.
• [4⭐] ELF All Elemental DMG +65% against enemies with [Inflammable]/[Conductive] status. ELF early Ultimate detonation deals +45% Total DMG.

Passive

• [Team Trigger] If Team leader is a Fire Valkyrie, ELF’s Fire DMG +30%.

If Team leader is a Lightning Valkyrie, ELF’s Lightning DMG +30%.

• [Team Trigger] If Team leader is a Lightning Valkyrie, ELF’s Basic and Joint ATK deal Lightining DMG instead.
• [3⭐] Ultimate CD -30% (45s to 31.5s).
• [4⭐] [Team Trigger] When there are 2 or more Valkyries with different elements in the team, ELF and Valkyrie's Total DMG +8%.

Team

• When a team member’s weapon active deal damage, ELF will use Joint ATK, launch a Charged Bomb at the enemy, deal 900% ATK of Fire DMG, gather surrounding enemies and reduce Joint ATK CD by 10s.
• [Team Trigger] If Team leader is a Fire/Lightning Valkyrie, ELF’s Joint ATK will inflict [Inflammable]/[Conductive] status on enemies.
• [3⭐] Valkyrie deal +15% more Fire/Lightning DMG to enemies affected by [Inflammable]/[Conductive] status.

★ Comparison with other ELF's ★

Skill Comparison

When looking at the skills it is noticeable that Kiana Kaslana has a huge advantage over Sirin in both buffs and utility.

She packs not only gather but also Switch CD reduction plus higher and longer DMG buffs.

While Sirin only provides some minor utility buffs.

However compared to Klein the difference is mostly just in DMG and duration, since she has other good utility options herself.

However that difference is quite significant.

Joint ATK Gather

Ultimate Gather

• Compared to the other gather ELF's, Kiana Kaslana has an additional gather with her Joint ATK, which has a medium range (around the same as ELF Elysia)
• Her gather starts later than Blade Durandal & ELF Elysia but a bit earlier than Water's Edge
• The gather from her Ultimate has a huge range and might be the strongest ELF gather in the game
• Short duration

In terms of gather skills I'd personally rank it as follows:

Kiana Kaslana (Largest area, short duration, multiple gather options) ≥ Water's Edge (large area, long duration) > Blade Durandal > ELF Elysia (small area, short duration)

- Teams and Rotations -

Team HoF:

HoTr Active -> Ai-chan QTE -> Active -> Ultimate -> HoTr Tap Ult [Mecha] -> Ultimate -> HoF QTE + ELF -> HoF Basic Attack until can use Combo -> Active -> Basic Attack until can use Combo -> Ultimate

Time: 25s.

Team HoT:

HoTr Active -> Basic ATK -> Combo to charge all Mecha weapons -> Tap Ult [Mecha] -> Ultimate -> Eden QTE -> Ultimate -> HoT QTE + ELF -> Active -> Combo -> Ultimate -> Active -> Ultimate -> Combo -> Basic Attack until can use Combo

Time: 30s.

Team Herrscher Trio:

HoTr Active -> Tap Ult [Mecha] -> Ultimate -> HoFi QTE + ELF -> Active -> Combo -> HoO QTE -> Active -> Basic ATK -> Evade -> Basic ATK -> Combo -> Ultimate -> HoFi QTE -> Active -> Combo -> Hold Evade -> Active -> Basic ATK until Mode ends -> Ultimate

Is it worth to invest into the ELF?

Yes absolutely!

As seen in the tests Kiana Kaslana is superior to both Sirin and Klein by a huge margin.

Her buffs also last very long with most of them being 20s.

Since Kiana Kaslana has a special interaction in teams where there are both Fire and Lightning Valkyries in, the Trio Herrscher Team benefits the most out of the ELF.

As seen in the Tests the difference between the ELF's is bigger on that team.

However if you do have both Sirin and Klein and can't afford to upgrade to Kiana Kaslana, these two will still be a good option.

Especially Klein will still see usage in Memorial Arena because of the force QTE of Lightning Valkyries.

If you do not own any ELF yet and want to get one, this ELF would be the perfect start since she has All Elemental DMG buffs, thus can be used on any Elemental Team and has great utility options.

Getting her 2⭐ is good for the beginning.

At 3⭐ she unlocks her Ultimate CD reduction which is her biggest uppgrade in my opinion.

Note!

Building a proper team first is more important than pulling for an ELF.

The priority should be:

DMG dealer + Gear -> Support 1 + Gear -> Support 2 + Gear -> ELF

If you want the best results I'd recommend to follow this order.

ELF's are just the cherry on top of a team.

I do think an ELF, especially Kiana Kaslana, is better than ranking up any other Valkyrie.

This is especially the case for the Trio Herrscher Team.

So before you try to rank up any Valkyrie through pulling in the gacha, consider trying to get the ELF first.
