Quest Name:
A Strange Story in Konda, the 1st part of [Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual]
Rewards:
Primogems*40, Mora* 20000, Adventure EXP* 350, Mystic Enhancement Ore* 6
Requirement:
Adventure Rank 30; Complete [Ritou Escape Plan] – [The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia]
Quest Taking:
At the teleport waypoint northwest to the Konda Village, talk to the masked shrine maiden before the fox statue to receive the quest.
Description:
[A Strange Story in Konda] is a World Quest in Inazuma. It is the first part of the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual questline.
Procedure:
1. Obtain the [ward]
She said there is a ward within the Sky Kitsune Statue that can only be removed by someone favored by the might of Electro. Though the traveler has no Vision, he/she masters the might of Electro after building resonance with the Statue of the Seven in Inazuma. Switch to Electro character and attack the Sky Kitsune Statue.
The Sky Kitsune Statue responds to Electro attacks, popping out [ward], a quest item.
2. Ask the locals for information
Follow the guidance and walk south to Konda Village. You may also teleport to the most convenient waypoint. Next, ask the locals for info and clues.
No specific guidance is offered in this part, but we should talk to three NPCs for info:
Futaba is by the gully near the village chief
Takeru is on the rooftop of a house by the stream on the south-eastern edge of the village
Saimon Eri is standing near some fruit vines next to a shrine on the road leading north out of the village
Marked as follow:
Three NPCs told us the locations where we can find some clues. Head to these places:
Futaba: Obtain Cargo Bag Fished Out From Water from the bags washed down the gully southeast
Takeru: Defeat enemies and obtain Ragged List of Goods from the cart outside of Konda Village's northeast entrance by the river
Saimon Eri: Obtain Purse by the Dried-Up Well from the bucket behind the Konda well
3. Cut a deal with the Village Chief
Show the Chief the evidence we found one by one based on his questions. Talk to him and hand over items in order: Purse – Cargo Bag – List of Goods.
Seeing the three evidence, the Village Chief finally told us what happened: the story of [Barrier] and that he threw the notebook recording the events back then onto the roof. Climb up to chief’s roof to find Konda Densuke's Notes beside two bird eggs. Collect the eggs.
The notebook also records where the key is hidden in the well, though it is somewhat not that legible due to much being weathered: “...The well was sealed and locked, and the key was hidden in a broken house across the gully on the east side of the village...”
4. Find the truth
Head over to the designated area recorded in the notebook, only to find a group of Nobushi and Treasure Hoarders who seem to be searching for something. Defeat them and dig where they gather. Interact to obtain an old key, which can be used to open the lock of dried well behind chief’s house.
Use the key to open the well lock. Jump in it.
Then, don’t miss out an Exquisite Chest near the wall. Look to the right and find the road blocked by Electro Rock Pile. Pass through it by attacking with Pyro/Cryo.
Go deeper into the passage. Don’t worry about getting lost as it is one-way. You will encounter an Electro Seelie. Follow it.
Touch the Electro Seelie repeatedly and it will lead to a Common Chest at its resting place - basement. We saw Thunder Sakura Bough that can be used ** **mmon Electrogranum. While you follow the Electro Seelie, there is another Common Chest on a platform along the way.
At the bottom, pass through the Thunder Barrier by carrying Electrogranum. Destroy the crates to reveal a passage, where Electroculus and Enigmatic Pages that can be collected.
Go back to the Electro Seelie and climb up the nearby ladder. Use the Thunder Sakura Bough ** **mmon Electrogranum. Glide down through the Thunder Barrier.
Interact with the Electro lantern in front of the huge gate to purify it with the Ward. Interact with lanterns to set the Electro petals to certain numbers (This lines them up like the symbol on the huge gate.) Interact with the first Electro lantern again to "Pray".
Adjust the number of Electro petals on other lanterns.
Interact with the Electro lantern in front of the huge gate. Go to the other Electro lanterns in a counter-clockwise order. Interact with them to set the Electro petals to the following numbers: 2, 3, 5, 4. (This lines them up like the symbol on the huge gate.)
Obviously, what we need to do here is to line them up as follow:
Defeat [Ochimusha]. If you find it tough just as I do, you may lower World Level beforehand, as it’s unavailable during battle.
Then, [Hanachirusato], the shrine maiden, will appear, who has been observing whether we are able to heal the roots or not: Cleanse the Thunder Sakura tree roots in Narukami Island, also what she came for.
The dialogue brings us the end of [A Strange Story in Konda]. Don’t **** to leave. You can obtain chests and Electroculus where is hidden by Thunder Barrier in the distance, and a quest item [Rust-Worn Key] used in the quest [Sacrificial Offering] that requires you to unlock the iron door to collect Electroculi.
Climb up and go through the Electro barrier. There is a Common Chest on the ledge to the right of the Electroculus. Go to the edge of the ledge and glide down to get the Electroculus. Don’t miss them out!
Open the iron door by activating the mechanism nearby.
There are three important objects inside the room: a Luxurious Chest placed in the middle, [Old Stone Slate] on the left chest, and [Rust-Worn Key] on the right table. Make sure to obtain them for the future quests.
Summary:
This quest has quite a lot of complex steps involving many gameplays and puzzles. It takes about 30min.
