Quest Name:
[Sacrificial Offering], the 2nd part of [Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual]
Rewards:
Primogems*40, Mora* 20000, Adventure EXP* 350
Requirement:
Complete [A Strange Story in Konda], the 1st part of [Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual]
Quest Taking:
Automatically take the quest upon completion of [A Strange Story in Konda]
Procedure:
1. Go to the abandoned shrine northeast of Konda Village
No guidance is given in this step, but the general location can be deduced from what Hanachirusato told us in the first part of the quest. Teleport to the waypoint at Grand Narukami Shrine. Glide south to the shrine at mountain foot before further triggering the next quest guidance.
When we reach the circled area above, Paimon suggest us looking for clues nearby first. At where the arrow below points, we found the large Sky Kitsune Statue as the same as the one when we encounter Hanachirusato. Approach it to have a cut-scene.
According to the words left beside the Staute: The ward has been sealed within by sacred words. Three shikigami are placed here as guardians. Only when they are all gathered here in one place can we proceed. They in fact have never disappeared, but are in somewhere else.
Next, find and talk to them. Talk to the three Mysterious Shadows twice to move forward the plot. The three are located in the places as follow:
After having all the three Mysterious Shadows (shikigami) teleport to the Sky Kitsune Statue. They disappear, leaving three Exquisite Chests, containing 15 Primogems.
The shining spot in the middle is [Sacred Sakura Cleansing Summary]. Read it for cleansing ceremony procedures.
2. Investigate Grand Narukami Shrine
Teleport to the waypoint at Grand Narukami Shrine and talk to Talk to Inagi Hotomi to obtain Memento Lens, which can be used to observe the Earth Kitsune Statues that will show us something otherwise invisible in normal cases.
3. Return to the abandoned shrine
Observe the Earth Kitsune Statues using the [Mement Lens] to witness several scenes. There go with three scenes featuring the required sacred words; the other scenes are optional to watch:
Recite the three sacred words facing the Statue in order:
1.[ In the name of Narukami's envoy].
2.[ And of the Hakushin bloodline].
3.[ Bring forth the fried tofu].
Approach the Statue to obtain [ward], the quest item needed for following puzzles.
4.Find the [barrier]
No guidance is given here. You need to observe the small statue near the big one. A Seelie pops out. Follow it to the barrier.
At last, it stops at an entrance to the cave. Enter it to reach the barrier.
Put [Ward] into the lantern to start cleansing.
Then, lanterns and torii began to change.
Solve puzzles to continue on with the quest. Instructions are given below in texts and graphics.
In the previous quest [A Strange Story in Konda], the 1st part of [Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual] I have already given a detailed guide for the puzzle solving, so let’s make it brief here:
Adjust the Electro lanterns with the corresponding number of petals as follow. Return to Lantern 1 and [Cleanse].
A [Mysterious Samurai] comes out just like the one in previous quests. No surprise. Take him down.
Then, [Hanachirusato] appears near us. We’re told how to cleanse the Thunder Sakura roots:
1. Obtain [Ward]
2. Find the barrier and put the ward to solve the puzzle
3. Defeat the monster condensed by filth. Follow the quest guidance to advance.
In the conversation, Hanachirusato told us where are other few tree roots located, also where we should go in the 3rd part of the quest. That brings to the end of [Sacrificial Offering].
Summary:
This part has quite a lot of gameplays but simple steps. It’s pretty easy because we’ve gained some experiences in the 1st part. It takes about 30min.
