I've talked before about a part of my methodology when it comes to coming up with theories. I feel that the most accurate information you could possibly get on a game is from its original version since it's directly made from the developers. Dubs are only secondary and if there's ever any conflict you should always go with the original version.
That said Kusanali's throwing me for a loop. You see she's called the Lesser Lord. Lesser of course means a lower rank than a regular lord. This falls in line with the Indian lore about Kusanali. For those of you guys that don't know the real world Kusanali was a grass fairy who eventually became a god. The Japanese name for Kusanali is Kura Kusanari where Kura could have come from the Indian Pali word khudda meaning lower rank. (The name Kusanali also comes from Pali.)
On the other hand the Chinese name for Kusanali is 小吉祥草王 where 小 means little but in terms of age not rank. Rank would have been implied by the word 少. A young age makes sense. From the lore we already know she took over as Archon only 500 years ago and is the youngest of the Archons. Sumeru even celebrates her birthday on Sabzeruz. The rest of the name splits into two parts fortunate and grass king and that goes well with the Indian lore. Kusanali was a grass fairy who used her wits to fool a king's carpenters to help a tree fairy.
Now where the problem comes in is that I could go with the Chinese name suggesting she's just the Lord Kusanali who Sumeru recognizes as young. But the Indian lore suggests that lesser lord is an accurate title. I have to believe that MiHoYo were reading up on Indian culture and folklore as they created Kusanali so does that include the Pali word for lesser which they applied to their English title or do I just consider the Chinese name they gave her?

Why any of that is important is the other theories running around. There are a couple of theories (grounded on just her gender pronoun change) that have parts that could make sense if the title was taken into account. Because of its tie-in to the Indian folktale a lesser lord Kusanali might have also helped out a "tree fairy" in the form of the God of the Woods and in the process paved her way into becoming the future "bodhisattva" or god specifically our God of Wisdom.
The inclusion of the title could mean a closer relationship between them as master and disciple similar to what I theorized about Ei and Makoto being disciples of the Original Electro Archon. It could also point to a different power dynamic in Sumeru too.
Well the good news is that if we think about timetables Inazuma released in "v1.7" after 6 update cycles. We are already on the tail end of v2.3 so maybe after another 3 cycles we should have the new region. That also means that we should have Dendro characters finally introduced before that happens and just their presence should add tons more information on the Dendro region and its Archon.
