[Special Case!0 4☆ Can Pity at 11th Now

This only happens when a 5☆ comes on the 10th pity, where a 4☆ is supposed to arrive.

As a result they collided and pushed the 4* to 11th.

[Recap] Missing 4☆

In my previous post, I have mentioned about how it had happened to my banner:

Few days passed after that. After sorting out my fates, out of curiosity, I tried a single pull after WGS.

and the [Result] is... it’s the missing 4☆ ! And at 11th pity at that!

How did this happen?

Have I been counting wrong?

Usually, the slot that 5☆ takes is counted towards 4☆ pity.

for Example:

78. (6)

79. Raiden (7)

———————

1. (8)

2. (9)

3. Gorou (10)*

*I've always count them as a continuation like this.

Could that have been wrong all along? Has it perhaps has always been like this ⬇️ after all?

Example:

78. (6)

79. Raiden (7)

———————

1. (1)

2. (2)

3. Gorou (3)*

Alternatively, it could be that the 4☆ that is supposed to arrive (in WGS's place) actually gets deleted, and me getting a Warbow right after is counted towards another new round of pity (pity 1) 🤔

I have never encountered or heard of a case like this before. Have you? It might help to solve this little mystery.
