Overview : Utility, Abilities, Rotation
Luka is a 4 Star character who inflicts DoT (Bleed).
His kit is based on this mechanic, and he's a good DPS who fits well with characters like Sampo or Kafka.
You can use him as a Sub DPS in a DoTs Team and focus on inflicting Bleed on every enemies, or as a Main DPS with some characters to boost and support him, like Silver Wolf, Pela or Asta.
In a single target situation, he generates enough Skill Points for himself.
Also, with his Ultimate, he inflict Vulnerability to the target.
Technique
Anticipator :
Immediately attacks the enemy.
Upon entering battle, Luka deals Physical DMG equal to 50% of his ATK to a random single enemy with a 100% base chance to inflict his Skill's Bleed effect on the target.
Then, Luka gains 1 additional stack of Fighting Will.
- In the overworld, you can use his Technique if your enemy is weak againt Physical element.
- If you use Luka as your main DPS, ALWAYS start with his technique (if possible). Starting with one stack of "fighting will" will allow you to burst sooner.
- If you're playing with other DoT characters (like Kafka), strarting with bleed is nice to increase your potential global DPS.
Basic ATK
Direct Punch :
Deals Physical DMG equal to 50%–110% of Luka's ATK to a single enemy.
- This Basic ATK generate 20 energy and 1 Skill Point.
Enchanced Basic ATK
Sky-Shatter Fist :
Consumes 2 stacks of Fighting Will.
First, uses Direct Punch to deal 3 hits, with each hit dealing Physical DMG equal to 10%–22% of Luka's ATK to a single enemy target.
Then, uses Rising Uppercut to deal 1 hit, dealing Physical DMG equal to 40%–88% of Luka's ATK to the single enemy target.
- This Enchanced Basic ATK generate 20 energy and 1 Skill Point.
Skill
Lacerating Fist :
Deals Physical DMG equal to 60%–132% of Luka's ATK to a single enemy target.
In addition, there is a 100% base chance to inflict Bleed on them, lasting for 3 turn(s).
While Bleeding, the enemy will take 24% of their Max HP as Physical DoT at the start of each turn.
This DMG will not exceed more than 130%–371.8% of Luka's ATK.
- Luka's Skill inflicts bleed which is one of his best sources of DMG.
- Bleed lasting for 3 turns, which means you can apply it to 3 enemies permanently.
/!\ If you don't have a character to generate Skill Pointss, it will be hard to maintain Bleed on 3 enemies. Applying Bleed to 2 enemies is sufficient. Use this strategy if Luka isn't your Main DPS or if your Team is a full DoT team. When facing a Boss, ensure it's always bleeding by using your skill on it at least every 3 turns. If luka is your Main DPS, use his Skill as often as possible to deal maximum DMG. /!\
- This Skill generate 30 energy.
Ultimate
Coup de Grâce :
Receives 2 stack(s) of Fighting Will, with a 100% base chance to increase a single enemy target's DMG received by 12%–21.6% for 3 turn(s).
Then, deals Physical DMG equal to 198%–356.4% of Luka's ATK to the target.
- After using Ultimate, you can follow-up with your Enchanced Basic ATK, as it generate 2 stacks of Fightning Will.
- The uniqueness of this Ultimate lies in the fact that the DMG enemy receives will be increased.
That means you should use your Ultimate BEFORE your team's burst.
- This Ultimate has an energy cost of 130 and generate 5 energy.
It's one of the most expesive Ultimates.
However, it's not a significant concern if Luka isn't your main DPS, as you want to use his Ultimate for it's effects rather
than it's DMG.
If he's your Main DPS, having a character who can generate Energy (with Light Cones, for example)
for the team would be beneficial.
Talent
Flying Sparks :
After Luka uses his Basic ATK "Direct Punch" or Skill "Lacerating Fist," he receives 1 stack(s) of Fighting Will, up to 4 stacks. When he has 2 or more stacks of Fighting Will, his Basic ATK "Direct Punch" is enhanced to "Sky-Shatter Fist."
After his Enhanced Basic ATK's "Rising Uppercut" hits a Bleeding enemy target, the Bleed status will immediately deal DMG for 1 time equal to 68%–88.4% of the original DMG to the target.
At the start of battle, Luka will possess 1 stack of Fighting Will.
- At the beginning of the battle, he starts with 1 stack of Fighting Will.
If you use his Technique to initiate, he will start 2 stacks of Fightning Will.
This enables you to commence with an Encanced Basic ATK
- Luka's Skill inflicts Bleed and, with his Talent, "Rising Uppercut", deals additional DMG to bleeding target.
This implies that when using Luka as the Main DPS, you must maintain the Bleed effect on the target you intend to take
down in order maximize your DPS.

- To trigger the effect on the target and deal maximum DMG
- Gain 2 stacks of Fighting Will
- Skill
- To inflict Bleed and additional DMG due to Talent effect.
- Gain 1 stack of Fighting Will (3 stacks tota*)

- Consume 2 stacks of Fighting Will
- Gain 1 stack of Fighting Will (2 stacks tota*)
- *****nced Basic ATK
- Generate Energy
- Consume 2 stacks of Fighting Will
- Gain 1 stack of Fighting Will (1 stacks total)
There are other rotations available, but this one is effective for optimizing your DPS when your Ultimate is ready.
Traces
Total boosts stats :
- ATK Boost +28%
- DEF Boost +12,5%
- Effect Hit Rate +26%
Kinetic Overload
Required Ascension : 2
When the Skill is used, immediately dispels 1 buff from the enemy target
- If your enemy has the ability to buff themselves or an ally, this trace is a must have.
Having the ability to deal DMG and remove a buff from an enemy is quite a rare skill.
Cycle Braking
Required Ascension : 4
For every stack of Fighting Will obtained, additionally regenerates 3 Energy.
- This trace serves as an effective energy battery.
Given that Luka's Ultimate has a high energy cost, having this trace makes it easier to recharge his Ultimate.
Crush Fighting Will
Required Ascension : 6
When using Enhanced Basic ATK, every hit Direct Punch deals has a 50% fixed chance for Luka to use 1 additional hit.
This effect does not apply to additional hits generated in this way.
- Enhanced Basic ATK performs 3 "Direct Punch", allowing Luka to execute a maximum of 6 "Direct Punch".
- After unlocking this trace, Luka's potential DPS increases significantly, making it much easier to utilize him as the Main DPS.

Eidolons
Eidolons Utility
Eidolon 1 || Fighting Endlessly
- High potent DPS Eidolon.
- It will increase Luka's global DPS for 2 turns the moment he takes action against a bleeding enemy.
- Perfect if you play him as your Main DPS.
- One of his best Eidolon.
Eidolon 2 || The Enemy is Weak, I Am Strong
- Quality of life Eidolon.
- When using your Skill on an enemy with Physical weakness you'll gain 1 Stack of Fighting Will.
- Good to spam his Enhance Basic ATK more often.
Eidolon 4 || Never Turning Back
- Good DPS Eidolon.
- If you get 4 stacks of Fighting Will, your ATK will increase by 20%.
- It increase Luka's global DPS, however, the thing is it becomes usless if you don't have any stacks.
To maximize your DPS, wait until you get 4 stacks of Fighting Will and then burst your enemy with the DPS rotation we
saw earlier.
- Still a very good Eidolon.
Eidolon 6 || A Champion's Applause
- Without any doubt his best Eidolon.
- DPS Eidolon.
- With this Eidolon, After the "Rising Uppercut" (last hit of enhance Basic ATK), if the enemy is bleeding the bleed status will deal DMG equal to 8% of the DMG for every hit of "Direct Punch".
- It complements his third trace exceptionally well, enabling him to potentially execute "Direct Punch" up to 6 times, and deal bleed Bonus DMG based on 6 hits.
With this in mind, acquiring 4 stacks of Fighting Will becomes beneficial, as the Enhanced Basic ATK immediately
consumes 2 stacks, resulting in a 10% damage boost.
And as if that weren't sufficient, if the enemy is already bleeding when Luka takes action, his damage output receives an
additional 15% increase.
- Eidolon who fit with many boosts.
Light Cones
Patience Is All You Need || 5 Stars Rarity
Kafka's signature light cone.
- Increases DMG deal by 24~40%.
- Increases SPD by 4,8~8% up to 3 times. (total : 14,8~24%)
- Inflict "Erode" who deals Lightning DoT equal to 60~100% of the ATK stat. (1 turn)
To summary, this Light Cone is highly advantageous for Luka, significantly boosting both his DMG output and SPD (perfect to play him as a Main DPS).
Additionally, it enables him to inflict Lightning DoT making it a perfect choice when playing him as part of a DoT focused team.

Relic & Ornament
Stats to reach
ATK
- At lvl 80, try to reach 4000.
- Luka's kit relies heavily on his ATK stat, the higer it is, the more potent he becomes.
- AVOID PRIORITIZING CRIT STATS, as Bleed effect do not trigger Critical Hit.
Given that bleed serves as his primary utility, emphasizing CRIT would result in a significant loss of potential damage output.
SPD
- At lvl 80, try to reach 120.
- Having a SPD of 120 will activate the "Space Sealing Station" bonus, granting you a 12% increase in ATK.
- Consider aiming for a SPD of 134 to gain an additional turn on the 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th turns.
Team Recommandation
F2P || Luka Main DPS
This team is fully F2P (except Luka, of course)
Natasha serves as the party's healer and Skill Points generator, capable of cleansing debuffs and providing healing to multiple targets.
Her Ultimate is esêcially cost-effective at just 90 energy.
Pela takes on the role of a a debuffer, aiding Dan Heng and Luka in dealing DMG by reducing enemy DEF.
Additionally, she can exploit the weaknesses Ice-vulnerable enemies and contribute to Skill Point generation.
Dan Heng functions as the Sub DPS, specializing in combat against Wind weak opponents.
His skillset also allows him to slow down enemies, which synergizes well with Luka's strategies.
Luka stands as the Main DPS force within the party, responsible for delivering the majority of the DMG output.
His role has been extensively detailed in the guide, making him the focal point of your team's offensive efforts.
No F2P || Kafka DoT
This team is oriented on DoT.
In this setup, Kafka assumes the role of the Main DPS, leveraging her DoT-centric abilities that synergize well with characters who also inflict DoT.
Sampo's presence enhances Kafka's performance even further.
His Ultimate amplifies the damage taken by enemies from DoT effects for 2 turns.
Additionally, when faced with a single Wind weak enemy, Sampo's Skill makes breaking them effortless.
Luocha fulfills the healer role for the party.
His abilities include enemy control and auto-healing for allies, making him an exceptional support character who also contributes to Skill Point generation.
Luka operates as a Sub DPS, primarily focusing on applying Bleed to enemies, generating Skill Points, and dealing substantial DMG under the right conditions.
His Vulnerability ability serves as an excellent tool to initiate bursts and support Kafka's DMG output.
