Fontaine Commission Cycle Guide
This builds off my previous posts!
Note: The cycle information is mostly unnecessary after Version 4.4.
The details on how to get each achievement still apply.
First Cycle Length: ~25

1 Cycle Achievements
Not Your Average Joe (Skippable)
Quests:
Get a Drink at Least! x3
Arouet will tell you how to make coffee drinks.
To unlock the achievement, you must succeed in making the drink yourself 2 times.
You will get 3 attempts each time you get the commission.
If you fail all 3 attempts, you can skip the commission with Encounter Points or by doing a commission in another player's world.
Just in case, here are the steps for each drink:
Latte: Coffee -> Milk -> Foam
Espresso: Coffee -> Coffee
Milk Coffee: Coffee -> Milk -> Cream
Clarity Coffee: Coffee -> Water
After succeeding with any of the drinks 2 times, the next Get a Drink at Least! will let you create a special blend of your own.
Complete the special blend to get the achievement.
Office on the Avenue
Quests:
Tales from the Court (Isadora Version) x1
Tales from the Court (Livre Version) x1
Tales from the Court (Staelle Version) x1
Unless you have any other quests blocking the characters involved, you are guaranteed to get all 3 versions in 1 cycle.
They share the same name of Tales from the Court but are actually different commissions.
Aesthetic Critique
Quests:
Aesthetic Critique: Principles of Aesthetics x2
Aesthetic Critique: Practice of Aesthetics x1
Aesthetic Critique: Self-Critique x1
Nothing special here.
Choosing to buy the paint or use Whopperflower Nectar does not matter.
The quests are unlocked in order and only thing that matters is completing the 4th commission.
Aesthetic Critique: Self-Critique is an emergency commission, meaning it can happen alongside other NPC commissions.
Second Childhood
Quests:
Their Childhood x2
Their Childhood: Time Waits for No One x1
Their Childhood: City Caper x1
These commissions are unlocked in order.
Just make sure you complete all of them and you'll be fine.
3 Cycle Achievements
New Inspiration! New Products!
Quests:
Refreshing Fonta, a Font of Refreshment! x3
Time to Drink x1
These quests are only unlocked after completing the Fontaine Research Institute Chronicles world quest line.
You will get Refreshing Fonta, a Font of Refreshment! once per cycle.
After completing that commission 3 times, Time to Drink will be added to your current cycle.
The achievement comes after completing Time to Drink.
I recommend unlocking these commissions as soon as possible as this is the only multi-cycle achievement in Fontaine so far.

These commissions are removed after completion.
Traces of Back Pain x1
Science of Data Management x1
Refreshing Fonta, a Font of Refreshment x1
These commissions are added after the Fontaine Research Institute Chronicles world quest line.
Tales from the Court (Isadora Version) x1
Tales from the Court (Livre Version) x1
Tales from the Court (Staelle Version) x1
Despite sharing the same name, these are actually distinct commissions.
You are guaranteed to encounter each commission once a cycle, assuming they are not blocked by other quests.
Alright, Iaune, Alright x1
This commission is removed after completion.
To unlock it, you must complete the world quest A Certain Stamp and the achievement Not Your Average Joe above.
Down Time x1
What is the Meaning of Work? x1
Other Duties x1
These commissions are all added after completing the world quest A Certain Stamp.
One strategy you can do is to avoid completing A Certain Stamp until your 3rd cycle.
This causes your first 2 cycles to be shorter.
What is the Meaning of Work? x1
What is the Meaning of Life? x1
Tell Iaune to get a dog the first time you get What is the Meaning of Work?
The second time, you can now feed the gulls with Iaune.
This unlocks What is the Meaning of Life? and removes What is the Meaning of Work?
There are no achievements tied to this as of Version 4.3, but help Iaune out with his struggles!
