✦ Short overview ✦

Senadina is here as our first actual Stardust DPS!

Shes's the first S rank Valkyrie of part 2 and performs as a Lightning DPS having 2 teams - the "mars trio" and the usual Lightning team.

Also part two introduces the new Astral Ring mechanic~

She's the honestly only good character of 7.3, so let's take a more detailed look at her~

✦ Source ✦

Senadina can also be obtained in gacha, her first supply will be in 7.3:

It's a normal expansion banner, meaning you're guaranteed to get her within 90 pulls.

...or whatever your current expansion pity is. Minus 10.

On the global servers, this banner releases on February 29th and end on March 29th.

✦ Rank-ups ✦

Analysis

✦ S1/2 ✦

S1 is some nice extra scaling. Considering you'll get S1 anyway when going for S2 it's pretty nice to get along the way.

Helps a lot in SD swarm fights. However, it's very niche rank-up. We got several SD swarm fights in 7.3, but that's not really the norm.

✦ SS ✦

Firstly, for abyss this is almost entirely useless. However, it's really useful in MA due to the additional TF. Additional scaling in MA though

✦ SS1 ✦

Pretty nice buffs, especially for the trio team it gives some additional Breach.

✦ SSS ✦

Absolutely insane during Stellar Outburst, HUGE DMG buff while it's active.

✦ Conclusion ✦

Her rank-ups mostly are really niche and don't work in any situation.

When going for rank-ups I recommend stopping at S2 or going for SS1+. But overall her rank-ups aren't needed, S0 will be enough.

✧ DMG comparison ✧

VBm/VBs - Stellar Outburst rotation

VBm/VBs - normal rotation

GD/LV

✧ Score comparison ✧

Only a small comparison but I tried to go over as many scenarious as possible.

Except for Alien Guard all listed abysses are newly added in 7.3; all tests done at 478D; score differences will be bigger in live Nirvana

Note: SR3; SSS A rank supports; S S rank supports; no perfect runs; SR1 on Cora/Helia

Short list of what the abysses represent:

Symphony weather: Currently pretty weird abyss as Sena's team only has 2 elements. Weird one but her best team is LV/HTR here. Phase 1 and 3 SD enemies; phase 2 neutral enemies.

Astral Ring weather: Pretty simple, new weather and Astral Ring rot is buffed. Also new team. 2 SD waves, one neutral wave.

Ignis Stellar: To show the use of S2 in SD swarm weather. 3 SD swarm waves.

SD Alien Guard: one enemy SD fight; usual lightning team

✦ Weapon Syncs ✦

Firstly, get her weapon. No weapon, no good Sena.

In 7.3 weapons get the feature that they can be synced up to Sync rank 3; starting at Sync 1 by getting weapon dupes.

Sena sync skill: Enemies take 4% (SR1) / 8% (SR2) / 12% (SR3) more Total DMG from weapon skill (independent & exclusive).

uh yeah... that's... a number!

For F2Ps definitely not recommended and whales will do what whales do. Up to 60 pulls difference between each sync rank.

✦ Team & Rotation ✦

✧ Supports ✧

Valkyrie Blastmetal - Coralie | Valkyrie Boltstorm - Helia

New """Trio""".

Need to be used together, they're used in situations in which you need the Astral Ring.

Generally second best choice when the currently best team isn't fully geared.

Lunar Vow: Crimson Love - Theresa

Meta Lightning Breach support.

Overall a really strong character.

Golden Diva - Eden

SP Lightning support.

She has craftable Stigmata and is farmable herself, so overall really cheap.

Herrscher of Truth - Bronya

Alternative to Luna for the most part.

During Symphony weather she replaces Eden.

✧ Rotation ✧

Note: Please remember that rotations can always differ based on the boss, the DMG needed and your overall situation. This is only the base rotation, if you want to be sure watch videos of players who know what they're doing.

FL / VBm / VBs

FL WA

VBs QTE -> WA -> WA (once charge is in the low marked area)

VBm QTE -> WA -> WA

FL QTE -> WA -> Basic ATK -> WA -> WA -> Ultimate -> Evasion -> Basic ATK x2 -> WA -> WA

Astral Ring

VBs QTE -> WA -> wait until it automatically ends

VBm QTE -> WAs until Quantum Mech energy is used up

FL QTE -> WA ->WA -> WA -> Ultimate -> Evasion -> Basic ATK x2 -> WA -> WA

Note: Support ults generally aren't used due to how time consuming they are; ideally use Astral Ring after Senadina's first Thunder in Clear Skies

GD / FL / LV

FL WA

LV QTE (hold ATK) -> Combo ATK -> WA -> Ultimate

GD QTE -> Ultimate

FL QTE -> WA -> Basic ATK -> WA -> WA -> Ultimate -> Evasion -> Basic ATK x2 -> WA -> WA

GD / FL / HTR

HTR WA -> Combo ATK -> Form switch -> Combo ATK -> Ultimate

GD QTE -> Ultimate

FL QTE -> WA -> Basic ATK -> WA -> WA -> Ultimate -> Evasion -> Basic ATK x2 -> WA -> WA

Note: HTR Ult can be skipped first rotation

LV / FL / HTR

HTR WA -> Combo ATK -> Form switch -> Combo ATK -> Ultimate

LV QTE (hold ATK) -> WA -> Ultimate

FL QTE -> WA -> Basic ATK -> WA -> WA -> Ultimate -> Evasion -> Basic ATK x2 -> WA -> WA

Note: Make sure you have either HTRs or LVs Ultimate every rotation; HTR Ult can be skipped first rotation

✦ Gameplay examples ✦

Note: Rotations aren't optimised for time reasons, only to give an example of how Senadina could be played

✦ Conclusion ✦

So then, is Senadina worth pulling?

I definitely recommend getting Senadina at S0 with SR1 weapon.

She's out first actual SD DPS and is liekly to stay it for a while. Also Astral Ring abysses will be a pain without her.

When going for more than S0SR1 I recommend going like

SS > SR3 > SSS

Then... she has supporting skills. Those aren't used to far but it's likely for them to be used soon.

She can provide 16,5% Elemental team Breach at S0 and other insane buffs. So if we get an Elemental DMG dealer who can use the Astral Ring Specialisation: World Star Senadina will most likely be the way to go.

Note: She has general Elemental DMG, meaning she can support Fire, Ice and Lightning Valkyries. Supporting buffs mostly require Astral Ring Specialisation: World Star.

As for newbies I'd consider her an absolute top pull.

Just her + her weapon allows the build of a super good team for new players considering how expensive it usually is to build a team.

However, keep in mind that Senadina has many flaws currently. Her Ultimate CD is too long for her rotations and the new trio isn't really strong when you have Luna and Eden fully geared. Also the Astral Ring CD is HORRIBLE as for now.

And Senadina still has a locked skill.

So when getting Sena also expect a new support for her to come soon, which would be a waste not to pull when having her. Just a little warning, Sena could get more expensive to properly build soon.
