Honkai Patch 7.4 Beta - Thelema Elysian Realm Guide

The Version update for Honkai patch 7.4 will bring another to Elysian Realm, with the addition of Thelema and the new bosses Dark Jixuanyuan who changes to BIO-type upon losing the Ice-vulnerable shield and Husk - Nihilius

(Finally IMG bull is gone)

This Guide will focus on Thelema but have general info!

This guide will focus on the new character, Mad Pleasure: Shadowbringer also known as Thelema.

If you don't have her then don't worry, there will still be some general information on the Elysian Realm adjustments and recommended buffs!

Elysian Realm Update

Stage Effects

Patch 7.4 Stage Effect Change.

Patch 7.4 Stage Effect Change.

With this update to the Elysian Realm, buffs are switched out and changed from what they were prior to this.

New Stage Effects

With the new update to Elysian Realm, You will gain One additional refresh attempt when selecting Signets on each floor. Enemy Base HP Increases by 5%. When a floor is cleared, non IMG enemy HP increases by 0.2% and IMG enemy HP increases by 0.1%.

Additional Refresh attempt per floor.

Next, Enemies take 10% Less Total DMG but the effect is dispelled for 5 seconds if you deal 500 Elemental DMG in a single hit. This requirement isn't harsh unless you are using a Physical Valkyrie and the 500 Elemental DMG limit is very easy to hit and only there to prevent you from using Elemental Affixes on Physical Valkyries to gain the effect. This is an independent multiplier so it's going to be quite strong if you can actively trigger it.

The deployed character deals 25% more Total DMG for 10 seconds after triggering Ultimate Evasion skill, Retriggering refreshes the duration. This is another very strong effect that's easy to trigger as long as you can do an Ultimate Evasion skill.

Note: If your character cannot activate Ultimate Evasions easily, you can choose Sakura Core 2 to gain the buff.

Sakura Core 2

The deployed character's Basic ATKs deal 25% more Total DMG, after entering burst mode, the deployed character deals 20% more Ice DMG for 20s. Retriggering refreshes duration: This effect is pretty restrictive, only being beneficial to Ice damage dealers that can utilize burst mode.

Note: If your character does not have Burst mode, it is possible to gain this buff through Kevin Enhanced Signet.

Kevin Enhanced Signet can be used to forcibly activate this buff~

Buff List

Patch 7.4 Buff List.

This patch won't be as flexible as the patch before with the helpful buffs. In the last patch the boss was vulnerable to Fire and Lightning. In patch 7.4 it now has a shield vulnerable only to Ice!

Enemies on Floor 17 will be replaced by PSY-type Dark Jixuanyuan - This costs no energy, and lets you fight him instead of Husk-Nihilius. Keep in mind the typing, Dark Jixuanyuan will change to BIO type after he loses the Ice-vulnerable shield.

Max HP increases by 500 - A common 5 energy costing buff that provides more health for characters who benefit from Kalpas Signets.

For Every support Valkyrie whose type is different from the deployed Valkyrie, the deployed Valkyrie deals 3% more Physical and Elemental DMG. - This is a low costing ( 5 energy ) buff that can serve to give you a small boost in damage up to 6%. It isn't recommended to take this due to the multipliers being too low.

The deployed character deals 12% more Elemental DMG. - Now we are starting to get into the higher energy cost gains, this costs 10 energy and provides the character with an easy 12% Elemental DMG, this can be a good option if you are using a character that cannot take advantage of the 15 energy cost buffs.

Weapon Skills deal 20% more Total DMG. - This 10 energy cost buff can be amazing if you use Weapon skills as your main source of damage, for example on Senadina or Coralie. If you don't rely mainly on Weapon Actives to deal damage though then this buff could be useless for your character.

The Deployed character deals 18% more Elemental DMG by default, each Flame Chasers Nexus ( also known as core ) Signet unlocked increases the deployed characters Ice DMG by 4% up to 12%. - Finally, we move on to the high energy cost buffs with this coming in at 15! It's quite powerful if you are able to take advantage of the added Ice damage upon getting a Flame Chaser Nexus, but if you don't deal Ice damage you would be better off taking different buffs.

Characters who use Drive Cores ( Senadina ) Rapid-Shot Crossbows ( Helia ) Rocket Hammers ( Coralie ) Fists, or chain blades ( Thelema ) gain 40% bonus Physical Breach and 20% bonus Elemental Breach. - For our last 15 energy cost buff, characters who use certain weapons will gain 40% Physical and 20% Elemental Breach! This is an amazing buff and if your character meets the requirements it's a must take for sure~ Unfortunately it is quite restrictive though, with the only weapon from Part 1 being able to take advantage of it being the Fists.

Whenever an enemy dies, the deployed Valkyrie gains a 5% Total DMG bonus (max: 20%) Expires after every floor. -

This will be a nice added buff for mob floors, but keep in mind it is also restricted to mob floors and will not provide any benefits on most boss stages. That being said, the buff stacks up to 20% and lasts for the entire floor so it's nice if you don't want to pay any attention to buff uptime~

After the deployed Valkyire deals 500 Elemental DMG at once, increase Physical Breach by 40% and Elemental Breach by 20% for 10s. Retriggering refreshes duration. - This buff provides you with a nice increase in Elemental Breach as long as your character is able to deal 500 Elemental DMG in a single hit. Unfortunately this is restrictive and cannot be cheated with ELF.

Using a weapon skill or hitting an enemy with a weapon skill increases Valkyrie Total DMG by 20% for 15s. Retriggering refreshes duration. - This gives a comparatively large ( compared to the other buffs ) amount of Total DMG as long as you use a weapon skill or hit an enemy with a weapon skill, this is easy for most Valkyries to take advantage of for a nice boost!

What is the Nexus / Core ?

The "Nexus" or "Core" referred to in this guide is unlocked when you get your third Signet from a portal.

Finding the third signet from a Shop will not give you the "Nexus" or "Core" making it possible to need 4+ Signets to get it.

Bonus rounds will activate this feature however and still present you with the Nexus.

You will have a choice between two signets, the top one will be referred to as "Nexus 1" or "Core 1"

The second one will be referred to as "Nexus 2" or "Core 2"

Rewards:

Mad Pleasure: Shadowbringer

Please remember to prepare a key in advance to unlock her!

Level 15 Character stats, I recommend maxing her before trying the higher difficulties~

Recommended Gear: Banquet Rose: Faux Crown + Splen Songque Teatime T + Thelema Banquet M + Litost: Night Watch B

Stellar Outburst Guide + Infographic

Chosen Buffs

Buffs for Stellar Outburst Build:

Thelema should fight the Dark Jixuanyuan boss with an Ice-vulnerable shield so she can destroy his shield EXTREMELY easily. She also meets all the conditions to benefit from the added Ice damage from each Flame-Chaser Nexus Signet, and she uses a Chain Blade allowing her to gain the 20% bonus Elemental Breach.

Support Valkyries

Start with this

Before Floor 12 ( Heimdall )

Before Floor 17

Azure Empyrea brings grouping, causes enemies to take more elemental damage, gives breach and provides SP.

Each one of those effects can be quite strong on Thelema and the added grouping while not needed, can be comfy early on!

While Senadina is better than Azure Empyrea on paper and in raw damage testing, she isn't as comfortable to use due to the lack of grouping on the opening rotation as well as the smaller range on her ability.

Late game where you no longer need the grouping and after you have other forms of Breach I would recommend Pardofelis.

But What about Heimdall?

Heimdall works like this, he has 4 shield layers called "Energy Shield DEF" which can be broken with certain charged attacks, abilities or Ultimates that have strong interrupt effects. If he gets hit too many times he will charge up his Energy field and enter Overdrive mode, in such mode he has a "massive ATK boost" attacks faster with increased frequency, and reduces all damage taken by a significant amount.

That's where Bright Knight: Excelsis comes in, her ability can break all 4 shield layers forcibly removing him from Overdrive mode and causing him to take more damage while the shields regenerate. Remember to only use her ability when he enters Overdrive mode so you can promptly break it.

For ELF / Astral OP I recommend Elysia ELF or Dreamseeker, Songque if you have her.

Flamechaser Sigil

Start With this!

Since you will be starting off with Signets of Gold I would recommend starting off with "Gold Goblet" which increases your chance to find Gold Portals. I really recommend starting off with Because of you for the added comfort, it makes your endgame alot stronger and removes the need to reset for an Ego door at the start. I will try to incorporate this into my guides from now on if the character benefits from it and can handle the early game bonus round without having the Ego door.

After testing, starting with Gold Signets gives a stronger power spike compared to Infinity Signets initially which would be beneficial to assist you in getting the bonus round, additionally it will be possible to have 2 Cores before the second bonus round.

This is because you won't have "Blessing of Fine Clothes" to benefit from the higher Phantom generation ( Summoned entity)

This is more for comfort, if you are looking to clear as fast as possible I would recommend starting with Kalpas Signets and drop Because of You for "An Old Pal's Legacy"

Later On

After the first bonus round, don't enter another Gold door since you don't want to get her Enhanced signets.

Instead you should visit the shop to make it possible to get a second core if you buy two signets then find a door.

Ideally you should be going for Mobius Core 1 next for the boost in power but if you find Sakura or Kalpas Signets in the shop then you should prioritize what you found instead.

This does of course mean you won't be able to switch to Dreamful Gold until the SECOND Shop floor so don't grief yourself by switching to it early and losing the power spike from getting more Ego Signets.

This strategy is for comfort and ease of clear.

if you are looking to clear as fast as possible then I would recommend using "An Old Pal's Legacy" to keep stacking Health for Kalpas 2. If you aren't comfortable playing Kalpas, feel free to skip him and build Pardo 1 instead towards the end, or take Hua 2 for some added comfort!.

Late Game~

Finally, before the last boss I would recommend switching to Key To the Deep for the added HP letting you scale better with Kalpas Signets and higher max SP letting you scale better with Eden Signets too.

You should switch to Dreamful Gold if you haven't already to take advantage of the 50% Total DMG buff while dealing HP loss AoE damage. (If you are speedrunning however, Tin Flask + "An Old Pal's Legacy" would be better assuming you are using Kalpas Core 1 + Enhanced while playing at near 1 health.

Playstyle / Rotation

This is a very fun build and the one I personally highly recommend! It's the stronger of the builds and very comfy to play.

This build focuses on activating her Stellar Outburst then switching between Basic Attacks and Weapon abilities while at the same time being able to spam her Ultimate. This build is pretty reliant on getting a second Ego, so I would recommend taking Because of You to get it.

Rotation:

The Rotation I found to work the best for me and have the most fun with is as follows.

Azure Empyrea Support -> Blood Rose Support -> Stellar Outburst -> Evade + Attack ( Trigger a Moment of Indulgence ) -> Thelema Phantom ( Hit AE or BR ) -> Ultimate -> Loop 3 Attack + Weapon x3, use Phantom ( AE or BR ) alongside Moment of Indulgence and use Ultimate when possible.

1.5 speed to fit whole rotation

Note:

A Moment of Indulgence is triggered by using her Normal Attack or Weapon Active when she has full stacks.

Max Stacks of "Banquet Enjoyment"

Build Priority

Elysia - Signet of ■■

Signet Priority for Ego

You want to start off with Blessing of Waltz which offers quite alot, to simplify it...

  1. During Stellar outburst, cast Moment of Indulgence automatically
  2. Ultimate Evasion will be triggered alongside Moment of Indulgence
  3. Phantom assist attacks reduce Ultimate Evasion CD on hit
  4. Astral Ring CD chaned to 5s, Stellar Outburst Duration to 30s
  5. 450% more Astral Ring Intensity recovery rate

This will grant you alot of initial damage as well a consistency through the Astral Ring Intensity rate being amplified.

After that, you would want to get Blessing of Fine Clothes to generate Additional Phantoms and increase their damage done. It also provides an Independent multiplier making the effect quite powerful.

Finally, wrap this build up with Nobility which is optional, but serves to make you deal 40% more Ice DMG essentially forever.

Eden - Signet of Gold

Eden Signet Priority

Eden is great to take because of how much you spam your Ultimate and giving high initial damage enabling you to clear the bonus round easier.

Mobius - Signet of Infinity

Mobius Signet Priority

Mobius Signets should be taken next ideally, with you able to benefit and trigger it by using Stellar Outburst to trigger Mind Sync state. Dead X should only be taken from the shop.

Mobius Signets essentially require the second Ego to function properly since it's what enables you to have alot of Phantoms (Summoned Entity) it's also why Mobius signets should be delayed slightly until you have Blessing of Fine Clothes.

Sakura - Signet of Setsuna

Sakura Signet Priority

Setsuna Signets will be extremely strong on her due to her playstyle, not only that but she has both the Time and Freeze tag enabling her to gain 20% Elemental Breach from the second core.

Kalpas - Signet of Decimation

Kalpas Signet Priority

Kalpas remains a potent source of damage amplification which will be even more exaggerated if you take advantage of +2 or +3 to his basic Signets.

Pardofelis - Signet of Reverie

Pardofelis Signets~

And finally wrap everything up with Pardo Core 1 as the last core when you have alot of Shiny Silvers for the boosted effects.

Neighborhood Chatters will allow you to double dip into added Max HP to benefit from Kalpas and Max SP to benefit from Eden!

Pardo's Shop:

Griseo - Red paint at a high priority, You do want Yellow and Black too ideally

Sakura - Both Total Damage buffs / evasion charge since you want to finish Core 2.

Kalpas - Both damage boosts / max hp / tdt Optional: Homeland and Friends.

Mobius - All Enhanced signets if you see it in shop!

Pardo - Both damage boosts, max hp/sp: Can take any Core 1 Enhanced you see in shop.

Eden - Optional: Aria of Soil

Early Game Strategy.

Start with Blessing of Waltz on floor 1, enter only Gold signet doors and fight your way up to floor 4 with the bonus round.

After finishing you will get your first Core or Nexus, even if you didn't manage to clear the floor in time for the extra signet!

From there on you should immediately go to the shop and switch from Gold Goblet to work on another Signet of your choice depending on what you find in the shop. Sakura, Kalpas, Mobius are good choices. Ideally you would use the free refresh and look to purchase two signets then refresh a door to get the third ( using the proper sigil to boost the chance for that respective signet of course ) Remember to switch sigils back if needed and plan for what core you will shoot for next if this happens.

Don't worry about refreshing the door this early on, you will have the free double door with Because of You on the next stage!

You will then use the power-spike from Eden first core and possibly a second core to help you beat the following bonus round without too much trouble, If you can't then it's fine taking Blessing of Fine Clothes as priority choice or Blessing of Nobility as second choice.

From there on you should work to complete your build with Kalpas being very strong but optional if you aren't comfortable playing at low health. You could also choose to wait until after floor 12 to complete Kalpas once you have defeated Heimdall who is much more aggressive than the final bosses, which is why I would recommend you delay it until after Sakura as well.

For Speedrunners

If you are trying to speedrun and confident in your abilities, I would recommend taking a different approach.

Start with Blessing of Waltz on floor 1 and reset for an Ego door to find Blessing of Fine Clothes.

You want to take Kalpas doors and ideally lower your health after you get the first Signet before the bonus round~ Finish the core, you would want to take Core 1 since you will be manually lowering your health.

Hopefully you will find Burden, Difficulty, and Calamity which will help you in keeping your health low and give alot of added damage.

From there you would want to consider Hua 2 for the bonus damage and so you don't you know.. die playing on literally 1 HP against Heimdall, then take Sakura 2, Mobius 1, then Finish with Pardo 1

Gameplay Video

First the Non Speedrun video showcasing this strategy, it's more new player friendly.

Next is the Speedrun done in half the time, the build is the same just pick Kalpas first since it's +2 and play on 1 HP

Non Outburst Guide + Infographic

This build does not use Stellar Outburst!

Chosen Buffs

Buffs for Non Outburst Build:

Thelema should fight the Dark Jixuanyuan boss with an Ice-vulnerable shield so she can destroy his shield EXTREMELY easily. She also meets all the conditions to benefit from the added Ice damage from each Flame-Chaser Nexus Signet, and she uses a Chain Blade allowing her to gain the 20% bonus Elemental Breach.

Support Valkyries

At the start~

Before Floor 12 ( Heimdall )

Before Floor 17~

Azure Empyrea brings grouping, causes enemies to take more elemental damage, gives breach and provides SP.

Each one of those effects can be quite strong on Thelema and the added grouping while not needed, can be comfy early on!

Remember to swap to Bright Knight: Excelsis before Heimdall on floor 12 if you aren't very geared or speedrunning.

Late game when you no longer need the grouping switch to Pardofelis.

For ELF / Astral OP I recommend Elysia or Dreamseeker.

Flamechaser Sigil

Start with this~

Since you will be starting off with Signets of Infinity I would recommend starting off with "Forbidden Seed" which increases your chance to find Infinity portals. I really recommend starting off with Because of you for the added comfort, it makes your endgame alot stronger and removes the need to reset for an Ego door at the start. I will try to incorporate this into my guides from now on if the character benefits from it and can handle the early game bonus round without having the Ego door.

Since you will try to get Dead X you don't need to visit the shop early!

The Non-Outburst build has alot of summons which is why I highly recommend starting with Mobius, you will get a significant damage spike when you hit the first core and can continue to snowball with "Dead X" If you are able to find it.

First Shop

After activating because of you on the shop floor and making sure the portal fully loads in first, I would switch to "Forget-Me-Not" and "Tsukimi Himiko" to focus on Sakura Signets next, this will let you get +3 on the basic Signets as well!

Tsukimi Himiko also works perfectly with her Ultimate Evasion based gameplay, letting you trigger the Flamechaser Sigil easily.

I recommend going for this after finishing Mobius core 1, Core 2 is taken to amplify your Ultimate Evasion based playstyle and give you additional evasion charges.

Before Floor 17~

Finally, before the last floor I recommend switching to "Tin Flask" to benefit more from Kalpas Signets bonus maximum health and damage reduction.

Playstyle / Rotation

While not as strong as the Outburst build, this build is still quite capable of getting good clears in Elysian Realm, and it's MUCH easier to play compared to the other build. The playstyle revolves around spamming her Ultimate Evasion ( even more so than normal ) to the point that you don't use her Ultimate as often after the initial cast, instead preferring to wait until she runs out of Ultimate Evasions.

The rotation is quite flexible, but something I have found to work quite well would be

Tap Weapon Active -> Hold Weapon Active -> 3 Basic ATK -> Moment of Indulgence -> Ultimate.

Evade (Restore Stacks) -> Moment of Indulgence -> Repeat.

When you run out of Ultimate Evasions, use Weapon Tap -> Weapon Hold -> 3 Attacks twice to get a full energy bar.

Opening Rotation Example

Note:

A Moment of Indulgence is triggered by using her Normal Attack or Weapon Active when she has full stacks.

If you have Blessing of Goblet, wait to use her Ultimate until her Ultimate Evasions has been used up unless you have excess damage. Additionally, when you have Sakura core 2 you should use her Ultimate Evasion at the start of the fight for buffs.

Max Stacks of "Banquet Enjoyment"

Build Priority

Elysia - Signet of ■■

No Outburst Guide

For this build, you would want to start off with Blessing of Feast, which offers a few things for this playstyle.

  1. Use Evasion to Trigger Ultimate Evasion ( As long as you don't use Stellar Outburst )
  2. After using Ultimate Evasion, restore all Banquet Enjoyment ( Energy )
  3. Moment of Indulgence doesn't take the entire energy bar anymore.
  4. Tap ATK after casting it to consume 1 stack to summon a phantom and use a cool attack animation!
  5. When Moment of Indulgence ends, all Phantoms will charge to the target and explode ( Combo ATK damage )

After getting Blessing of Feast, you would want to grab Blessing of Goblet which serves to enhance your gamplay loop, restoring two Ultimate Evasion charges after casting her Ultimate. Additionally, you will deal more DMG after using her Ultimate.

Ultimate Cooldown is also reduced and you will gain an additional 30 SP.

Finally, wrap this build up with Nobility which is optional, but serves to make you deal 40% more Ice DMG essentially forever.

Mobius - Signet of Infinity

Mobius Signet Priority

Because of how many summons you have I would highly recommend starting with Mobius and trying to get Dead X.

Sakura - Signet of Setsuna

Sakura Signet Priority

Setsuna Signets will be extremely strong on her due to her playstyle, not only that but she has both the Time and Freeze tag enabling her to gain 20% Elemental Breach from the second core.

Griseo - Signet of Stars

Griseo Signet Priority

You wish to delay this until the 3rd Nexus/Core if possible to gain more Elemental Breach.

The strategy here is to take everything offensive to boost your damage

Kalpas - Signet of Decimation

Kalpas Signet Priority

Kalpas should be taken ideally after Heimdall who is extremely aggressive, the bosses after him aren't so dangerous so you won't be one shot or forced to play passively.

Pardofelis - Signet of Reverie

Pardofelis Signets~

And finally wrap everything up with Pardo Core 1 as the last core when you have alot of Shiny Silvers for the boosted effects.

Pardo's Shop:

Griseo - Red paint at a high priority, You do want Yellow and Black too since you aim to finish core 1.

Mobius - Dead X If you didn't find it earlier

Sakura - Both Total Damage buffs or evasion +1 / reset since you do want to finish Core 2.

Kalpas - Both damage boosts / max hp / tdt since you do aim to finish Core 2. Optional: Homeland and Friends.

Pardo - Both damage boosts, max hp/sp: Can take any Core 1 Enhanced you see in shop.

Early Game Strategy.

Start with Blessing of Feast on floor 1, enter only Mobius Signet doors and fight your way up to floor 4 with the bonus round.

From there you should enter one last Mobius portal to try and get "Dead X" before going to visit the shop, Upon reaching the shop remember to activate Because of you and wait for the portal to fully load before switching out the Sigil and purchasing any good Signets you see in the shop. I recommend working on Sakura Signets after completing Mobius Core 1.

When you clear the bonus round, grab Blessing of Goblet, if you were able to clear it in time you can also grab Blessing of Nobility. From there on you should work to complete your build with Kalpas being very strong but optional if you aren't confident playing on low health. You could also opt to wait until after floor 12 to complete Kalpas once you have defeated Heimdall who is much more aggressive than the final bosses.

Gameplay Video

This isn't a speedrun but more of a showcase, I tried to keep it more accessible without doing any strategies that could potentially take hours such as Pardo Gacha / Staying on floor 1 and lowering HP to 1 / Resetting for Ego.

Aponia isn't in the beta so I couldn't fight her which would have cut around 30 seconds off the clear time too.

Closing

That's all for this guide~ I hope this helped!
