Patch 7.4 Battle Pass

In Patch 7.4 we will be getting a new Battle Pass season, as you may have already heard the new characters this time will be the old Starter Supply characters, Palatinus Equinox and Herrscher of Human: Ego.
What I hope to accomplish with this guide is to help you decide what you will get from the BP Works and BP Arsenal!
The new Battle pass will be coming with Patch 7.4, the patch itself will be released on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
The Battle pass however will not be updated until the weekly reset after the update, which should be on Monday, April 29th.

The new battle pass comes with a new color of Crystallum for use in the shop!

Patch 7.4 - 7.5
- Palatinus Equnox Character Card
- Palatinus Equinox Rank up Stamps.
- Bianka Theatre Stigmata / Weapon.
- Herrscher of Origin Stigmata / Weapon
- ELF
Patch 7.6 - 7.7
- Herrscher of Human: Ego Character Card
- Herrscher of Human: Ego Rank up Stamps.
It is currently unknown if her gear will be in the Battle Pass.
You can also buy their Stamps if you have purchased the Battle pass.
Keep in mind Palatinus Equinox is an "Awakened Battlesuit" and the Awakened version of Dea Anchora.

This does mean her rank-ups will cost more fragments or "souls" compared to Non-Awakened Battlesuits so plan accordingly!.

Vintage Shop

All weapons and Stigmata from patches 7.0-7.3 will be added to the Vintage shop, players can exchange "Golden Crystallum" to purchase gear that hasn't been purchased beforehand. You may exchange up to 10 of the new season BP Crystallum into the old ones. Golden Crystallum will be recycled into Torus when they expire at the end of Patch 7.4
Looking at what will be available in the Vintage shop, I do not recommend converting any into Golden Crystallum, there are exceptions however such as if you really love Silverwing and need to get her weapon.
If you have 10 or more Gold Crystallum left over from the previous patches, I recommend getting Paganini (M)
Paganini (M) increases the teams damage done to shields by 50%. This stigmata would be the best thing to get from the shop because ofthe utility it brings and it's ability to also work in Elemental teams, very good stigmata for SS Memorial Arena as well.
There are quite a few boss enemies that have shield mechanics so this could be put onto a support to assist with that in general.

Featured BP Gear (7.4)

Note:
The Battle Pass has been updated on the Chinese server in Version 7.5 with the addition of Cezanne and Elysian Astra!

Elysia Astra is the signature weapon for Starry Impression having effects tailored to her specifically.
While this weapon won't be good on other characters the benefits provided to her in particular can be quite impressive.
It comes with the added effect of triggering her weapon active and Ultimate Evasion skill on QTE entry.
This is very powerful for Memorial Arena on the SS and SSS bosses where you can both save time and activate Time-Fracture.
If you want to be competitive with her in Memorial Arena I would recommend looking into getting her weapon.

Cezanne is the signature gear set for "Starry Impression" and while it's tailored for her it also has very good performance on other characters like "Herrscher of Sentience" or "Reverist Calico" This set is mostly amazing for Memorial Arena purposes where Griseo is still a meta choice for many bosses, additionally it can be good "temporary" gear for Abyss where she isn't used as much.
The power of this Stigmata set is focused on the "B" piece.
After landing a characters "Combo Attack" all enemies are debuffed with "Structure Outline" increasing their Total DMG Taken by 36% for 6 seconds with a 16 second CD. Your characters then gain 1 stack of "enhancement" which is consumed upon switching to them to increase the debuff duration by 1.5 seconds.
This means you can have up to 9 seconds of 36% Total DMG Taken if you land a characters Combo Attack.
You will commonly see people use Susannah: Overtime ( T ) with Cezanne ( M ) and Cezanne ( B ) on SI to maximize buffs.
There is also the option of Cezanne ( T ) and Cezanne ( B ) combined with Paganini ( M ) for shieldbreak,

Midnight Eclipse
Midnight Eclipse is the signature weapon of Palatinus Equinox, it has an equip bonus for Palatinus Equinox where her Knight form weapon skill becomes "Throw Attack" and her Guardian form weapon skill becomes "Cannon Blast" You can tap Weapon after using special attack to use a "Joint Combo Blast"
This weapon serves to improve her damage capabilities and is recommended to obtain if you plan to use her.

"Bianka Theatre" is the Stigmata set for Palatinus Equinox, it really enables her to shine with the 80% Physical DMG buff to her next Ultimate working exceptionally well with her passive "Herrscher Killer"

This in turn lets her directly damage the Seed and bypass the Imaginary Shell.
This Stigmata set also performs decently on other characters such as Hare if you don't have her full gear.

Key of Limpidity
This is the Signature weapon for Herrscher of Origin and an extremely powerful one tailored to her.
With this she can block incoming attacks and a successful block regenerates SP and triggers Time-frozen Domain pausing all skill and stage timers while letting her connect into "Chain Slash" then gain a stack of "Twisted Origin"
She is not able to do this with other weapons, and using anything else reduces her damage by quite alot while changing her intended playstyle completely.
Click here to read my older Herrscher of Origin guide for weapon comparisons.

Raiden Mei TMB is the signature Stigmata set for Herrscher of Origin.
This stigmata set is also very tailored to her kit and while only she can make use of it she does so very well.
Some of the utilities provided are as follows.
- 20% Ultimate Evasion CD reduction
- 40% Weapon Active CD reduction ( after using weapon skill ).
- Triggering Time-frozen Domain regenerates SP. ( 3s CD ) and makes all enemies take more damage.
As you can see, this stigmata set is very important for her as both a DPS and a Support, without it she will not have her cooldowns line up and the rotation will be drastically changed and prevent you from being able to rotate smoothly.
Note:
There's technically Turg TB or Chrono Navi stigmata that can perform better than this Stigmata set when combined with a different weapon like "Fairy Sword Silven" or Raikiri. But the drawbacks is it requires you to have SS+ rank Herrscher of Finality alongside S2+ Herrscher of Origin.
This strategy is used when you have damage excess and are trying to cut down on time which can commonly happen in extremely geared teams especially with SSS units. I have included an example of the video below to showcase the playstyle.
TLDR: Turn off her QTE, use weapon active followed by Ultimate.
All in all, the strength of her on her own is no longer sufficient compared to the newer Lightning DPS, Senadina and Lunar Vow.
Herrscher of Origin will still see usage alongside Herrscher of Finality and Herrscher of Truth to form the "Part 1 Trio Team"
She also sees occasional usage in SS Memorial Arena for fast kills on certain bosses.
Generally investment into her is not recommended unless you already have Herrscher of Truth and Herrscher of Finality.
Although I understand some of you will really want to get her gear because of the free character card this patch.
If you must get her though I would recommend starting with the Weapon giving her access to her Weapon Active!

What to get from BP Works
This will be explained even further in their respective section.
The recommendations here could possibly change on an account by account basis, if you are unsure then just ask!
Before we get into the recommendations we first need to go over how much Crystallum you can expect to get.
There will be 4 patches to a Battle Pass season, this will include patch 7.4 / 7.5 / 7.6 / 7.7. and there will be Vintage Shop in 7.8!
The following numbers does include the Crystallum obtained from the Dorm shop.
F2P = 5 Max per Patch.
Knight BP = 14 Max Per Patch.
Paladin BP = 16 Max Per Patch.

Different Buying Plans.
Full F2P - In this case I would recommend you definitely wait to see if they add any good support Stigmata and it would be possible to purchase two. if you already have HoH/PE but you are missing their weapon then that would certainly be good to buy.
Full Stigmata for a character - For a grand total of 30 Crystallum, to reach this goal you could either purchase two Knight BP and getting the rest from F2P income over the patches or buy a single Knight BP and use Vintage Shop in patch 7.8 to convert 1 ball back giving you enough ( 15 + 14 + 1 = 30 )
Full gear for a character - This would cost you 12 Crystallum for the weapon and 30 for the Stigmata. This could be achieved by purchasing 3 Knight BP which happens to give you exactly enough to fully gear a character. Alternatively, you could buy two Paladins for 32 and get the remaining 10 from F2P BP for a total of 42.
Aiming for Ranks - Alright, lets say you already have their gear and are in a spot where you just want to get the most ranks possible. In this case I would recommend you to first of all buy the Paladins for the extra Character Fragments per patch.
As for which character to prioritize, I would recommend buying all the Herrscher of Human: Ego Stamps. It would cost 16 Crystallum, you may want to purchase the ones attached to her Character Card for an additional 32 Crystallum costing 48 total.
With this method you would get 90 Fragments from Crystallum and 40 from the Paladin BP for 130 Fragments.
You will have 16 Crystallum left which should go towards buying all the Palatinus Equinox Stamps.
Full gear and a character - Alright, this is where it starts to get even more expensive, as we previously established you need 42 to get the full gear set, this means if you would want to get the character card it would take another 32 hitting a grand total of 74.
You could still reach this, but it would require you to purchase 4 Paladins and take advantage of the Vintage Shop, make sure to buy the character card before gear because it will not be in the Vintage Shop.
Note:
You may want to see the full Battle Pass lineup before spending the Crystallum.

My Suggested Priority.

First and foremost, I would recommend saving until you know what the entire Battle Pass lineup is, in case they add something amazing in the future that you would have wanted to consider, but you already spent your BP Crystallum.
Next, I would recommend Herrscher of Human: Ego over Palatinus Equinox in general, I do have an entire review on their coverage and why in the sections dedicated to them. But if you have Palatinus Equinox and don't have her gear then feel free to invest into her, this is just general prioritization guidelines taking as much into consideration as realistically possible.
Note: As of Patch 7.5 Update I recommend getting Cezanne over HoO stuff!
Finally, I would put Herrscher of Origin last, if you really want to invest into her then I would get the Weapon over the Stigmata.
I do not recommend investing into either of the ELF at all, they cost 32 Crystallum which would be better spent unlocking a Valkyrie, getting their gear, or ranking them up.

What to get from BP Arsenal
As an added bonus I will add and update what I recommend getting from the BP Arsenal with an explanation as to why.
Keep in mind this does vary depending on account state and individual player needs!
Disclaimer: To avoid confusion, the Crystallum for the upcoming BP will be the new one, not Golden Crystallum.

Ignore the 40/100
Vanguard

Vanguard will get up to 2100 Honor Chips.
- First you should get the "Equipment Supply Card" as the top priority and only thing with crystal value.
- After that, with the remaining 1500 I would recommend "Honkai Shard" "Ancient Willpower" or "SC Metal-H2"
Ancient Willpower would be the best if you are focusing on unlocking new characters to increase your dorm buffs, you could also get some Crystals from the Elysian Realm upon unlocking them.
Honkai Shards or SC Metals would be for people lacking them and unable to upgrade their weapons to the next level.
You will probably want the SC metals unless you are an older player.
Knight

Knight will get up to 7950 Honor Chips.
- First you should get the "Equipment Supply Card" as the top priority and only thing with crystal value. (7350 left)
- Then you can buy all the SC Metal-H2 ( 4350 left )
- Finally, buy 3 Honkai Shards (4200 ) or a mix of Honkai Shards and Ancient Willpower
Note: Because you get "Provision Crates" you could potentially end up with more Honor Chips.
Paladin

If you purchase the Paladin BP you will get up to 12,150 Honor Chips.
This gives you alot more buying power and will allow you to buy almost everything in the shop.
- Equipment Supply Card x1
- Honkai Shard x3
- Ancient Willpower x100
- Operation Terminal x5
- SC Metal-H2 x 100
- Phase Shifter x 8
- Fluid Alloy Block
After purchasing all that, you would have spent a grand total of 11,880 / 12,150 Honor Chips, I would use the remaining 270 on SS Imaginon or Time Swirl Pass.
Note: Because you get "Provision Crates" you could potentially end up with more Honor Chips.

Palatinus Equinox

Palatinus Equinox (PE) is a Valkyrie released back in Patch 5.5 on February 24, 2022.
She came as the first Imaginary Type Valkyrie and the awakened form of Dea Anchora. She had extremely high pull value back then, but does she stand up against the test of time?
PE has not had a dedicated abyss weather for multiple patches, and even if one did come it is uncertain the "Disturbance" increase would prevent her core mechanic from being as effective as it once was, her ultimate lets her transfer 150% of the damage done to the "Seed" also called "Imaginary Core" This often let her her bypass an entire phase in the past, but If she is no longer able to instantly kill it then it's possible she loses some of her old bosses to Herrscher of Finality.
Despite that, she remains a good option on many of the new Imaginary type bosses especially after the release of Rebirth Seele.
Additionally, while not being the "best" she can also be used as a decent Physical DPS on a majority of the Physical weathers.

Boss Coverage

Palatinus Equinox is still the best choice for some bosses when they run like SSS HoD Minion and SSS Otto.
She is used more frequently in Memorial Arena compared to Abyss, and this isn't all the SS Bosses she can cover.
She is quite capable being able to do well on or top score numerous SS bosses especially if she is S2 rank for the 40 Initial SP.
Unlike in the Abyss, where the Disturbance will slowly increase over time there has been no indication that we will be getting more difficult bosses in Memorial Arena such as "SSSS" or "EX" bosses.

PE Rankups

Her S1 is pretty decent providing her with 5% bonus Physical vulnerability, through prior testing it resulted in around a 4% DPS increase over S0 so it's a nice boost in damage.
As for her S2, this is one of her best rank ups in terms of Memorial Arena, it enables her to do runs more easily and improves her consistent scores against many of the bosses. That being said in Abyss this rank-up is almost completely useless because it won't stack with the 90 initial SP provided to you at the beginning. For abyss purposes this is just free attack yet for Memorial Arena it will make it possible to get new higher scores on many SS bosses while making SSS bosses and SP management easier.
Her S3 isn't anything amazing either and the Leader skill is shared with Dea Anchora.
This means that even if you don't have her yet despite the events, if she's ever made to be more accessible or farmable then you would end up getting the damage bonuses from the increased Leader ability anyway, so this could end up being free attack too.
Next her SS rank, this increases the damage of each sequence of "Sprint"

Sprint
This actually brings us to our first "Elysian Realm" rank up because this is where it shines the most.
In Abyss and in Memorial Arena, you don't use the full sequence of Sprint instead opting to cancel it early for "Elite Thrust"
That means that like the previous ranks, this rank-up is mostly just free attack as well.
Now her SS1 rank boosts what we just covered prior, the mounted "Elite Thrust".

Elite Thrust
It also increases the damage of "Equinox Severence"

All in all, this is a good yet extremely costly rank considering it takes 150 souls to get to this point.
SS2 Is one of her good rank-ups making this the second one in a row now.
This rank-up increases the Total Damage of her Ultimate by 13.9%
This may not sound like too much but remember that what makes her exceptional in her niche is entirely enabled by dealing large amounts of damage with her Ultimate to skip to the IMG seed.
SS3 unfortunately runs into the same issues as S3 except now it costs a lot more fragments.
Finally we reach her SSS rank up, this one is situationally strong giving her more utility reducing the cooldown of her Ultimate Evasion reset on form switch by 12 -> 8 seconds. It additionally gives her 20% more Total DMG increasing the damage of not only her Ultimate, but her entire kit as well.

Blade Durandal ELF

This ELF works as a Physical ELF with Switch CD reduction, total damage, grouping on her Ultimate and Physical Vulnerability.
While she's a decent Physical ELF I would not recommend investing into her at all, especially not for 32 Crystallum.
Take a look at "Project Bunny" the new Physical ELF able to outclass Blade Durandal in what is essentially every way.

3 star is when Blade Durandal unlocks most of her bonus supporting effects for the team making it kind of the bare minimum.
Blade Durandal doesn't get access to her ELF skill cooldown reduction until 4 stars which keeps her from contributing too much to the Physical teams across multiple rotations keeping the ELF ability cooldown at a lengthy 45 seconds.
For a direct comparison, 4 Star Blade Durandal is inferior to 3 star Project Bunny, who can be obtained in future Spending events.
The more spending events and chances we have to get Project Bunny, the more she will be seen as the "normal" which will directly impact Blade Durandal as the difficulty of obtaining Project Bunny is sure to decrease over time gradually.

PE Review

If you already have Palatinus Equinox, you could consider aiming to get her to S2 rank.
She's more of a Memorial Arena focused Valkyrie these days, and she doesn't gain too much from her SS.
If you don't have her yet and are looking to unlock her for abyss purposes then I would suggest you keep in mind that her full Stigmata set is a requirement for her performance. Unfortunately, there are no "good" alternatives including the G4 Physical set.
While on paper it may look like the damage is comparable on a type-less enemy without being a massive loss remember her bosses are Imaginary type so those results do not translate well to "real world scenarios" The reason for her not having any good alternative stigmata to this because of her mechanic where she transfers 150% of her Ultimate damage to the Imaginary Seed.

Bianka Theatre 3 piece bonus
Her stigmata 3 piece bonus is largely responsible for her Ultimate damage which in turn lets her bypass the entire phase.
Without her full Stigmata set she won't have decent performance on any of her bosses resulting in considerably lower scores.
If you were to want her character card + stigmata + weapon that would cost you 74 Crystallum which is technically possible if you buy 4 Paladins and convert in 7.8 Vintage.
Conclusion:
I can't really recommend you to go for Palatinus Equinox character card, and I certainly don't recommend you to go for Blade Durandal ELF at all and would rather point you towards Project Bunny ELF accessible in future "Spending Events"
If you already have her though, S1 and S2 rank-ups for Palatinus Equnox has good value and can be obtained by a mix of Paladin BP fragments + stamps. There is also some value in chasing her higher ranks such as SS1 or SS2 if you are higher ranked and close.
For Stigmata, that's a bit harder... because of the rarity of her Imaginary type weathers her full Stigmata gear isn't that important from a general perspective with the closest alternative being Elysia TB + Dante M Stigmata set. While this does have poor performance against Imaginary type bosses it's decent against Physical ones which appears a lot more frequently.

Herrscher of Human: Ego

Meet the Herrscher of Human: Ego (HoH) the fan favorite Elysia Herrscher Battle-suit released in patch 6.0 on Sep 15 2022.
Having been the most popular character in the game for quite some time, I hope to have good news for you all who want her.
Although Herrscher of Human: Ego is still a strong Ice DPS she will be negatively impacted by the release of Thelema this patch, no longer able to call herself the best option for neutral bosses like Hellmaru and Benares. However this is the case for neutral bosses, not Mech bosses. I have no doubt in my mind that HoH will still be the top score for bosses such as RPC-6626 (Ice) and Hephaestus. Not only that but she will still be capable of getting decent scores on neutral Ice bosses.
Her bosses are uncommon, but not as rare as Palatinus Equinox with us actually getting several weathers for her over the last few patches. While she did lose her Memorial Arena bosses ( Wardens and Hephaestus ) to Lunar Vow, she still remains a competitive option that's much easier to play on said bosses.
Lastly, if you care about Elysian Realm she has been one of the most competitive characters for easy clears since her release.

Boss Coverage

Herrscher of Human: Ego is still the best overall choice for some abyss bosses being the "top scorer" on the following.
Ice RPC-6626 / Freeze Hephaestus / Type Kasumi / Wardens of tower while being competitive on Ranged Kalpas weather.
Sadly and unfairly she did lose her SSS Memorial Arena top scores to Lunar Vow, she's still a competitive far easier option in exchange for slightly decreased scores. She also has good performance on the SS bosses in Memorial Arena notably on Kasumi and Hellmaru.

HoH Rank-ups

It's time to take a look at her rank-up gains to see which levels are worth potentially aiming for.
It's nice that they put the majority of her stronger rank-ups early on making her very frontloaded.
Her S1 is extremely strong and one of her better rank-ups providing her with 2.5% Elemental Breach in Human Form and 3% Breach in Origin form, which is the form you take after using Ultimate. The added breach is very powerful increasing her damage by roughly 5%. It also provides some Total DMG taken reduction but that's not needed for the majority of players.
Her S2 while somewhat niche is extremely strong, mainly because of the SP restoration helping her with her very high 125 SP Ultimate cost. This is equal to saving you 10 SP per 20 seconds she is on field to benefit from it which does add up rather quickly as the batter duration progresses. This also gives her some more damage by making enemies with "Pristine Seed" take 50% ATK of Ice damage every second.

Entering Origin Form
Her S3 rank is very strong which can be unusual for most leader skills, boosting her initial SP in MA by 5 which does in fact open up new team possibilities to better 0 second some SS Memorial Arena bosses using her as the team leader for the initial SP. From there you get an extra 2% Ice damage for the team and another 5% when "Stars in the Past" in effect.
Stars in the Past is triggered upon using her Ultimate and will be cancelled when she leaves Origin form.

Leaving Origin Form
SS0 is extremely strong, one of her strongest rank ups in fact. it gives her an extremely high Total DMG boost to her Charged attacks in both her forms. SS0 Increases the Total DMG of her Charged attacks in human form by 30% and Origin form by 50%.

Human form Charged attack + Ego Blossom
Additionally, it increases Self total DMG +10 which effects all abilities including said charged attacks. Finally, Global Time fractured triggered when entering Origin form is extended from 3s to 5s which is helpful in Memorial Arena.

Ultimate Finisher, yes this is the same as exiting Origin form.
SS1 makes charged attacks done boost the damage of her Ultimate Finisher, up to two times.
You normally only get one stack however, because of this there's not that much to be gained from this rank up relative to the increased cost.
SS2 is essentially 6% Total Damage boost after triggering Ego Blossom in Human Form, it's not that good but it does affect her whole kit so at least it's not useless.
Her SS3 is slightly better than her S3 was, increasing the Ice damage of not just her but the entire team
from 32% -> 35% which is +3% this time rather than +2%.
While "Stars in the Past" is in effect just like before she and her team will gain an additional +15% -> 20% Ice Damage.
SSS is simple and strong, very strong.
After using her Ultimate Evasion in Herrscher of Human form, increase Ice DMG by 50% for 5 seconds on a 60s CD.
Exiting Origin form will reset the CD.

Triggered QTE with Ultimate Evasion.
Because she can trigger her QTE to trigger her Ultimate Evasion skill this is easy to trigger and quite strong despite the low duration.

Elysia ELF

Sadly, in my opinion Elysia ELF isn't worth getting.
I know I know, Elysia ELF is still the best Ice support ELF, and Thelema just released so what's the problem with getting her?
The First cost is the problem, while she's still the "best" and offers the same as other ELF's with grouping and reduced switch CD, I cannot recommend you get her for 32 Crystallum when the alternatives would be to get rankups for Herrscher of Human: Ego or even Palatinus Equinox, ELFs will be accessible in upcoming spending events for virtually no crystal.
The other issue is the rank-up requirement, a while back in Patch 6.5 players got a free Waters Edge ELF so lets use that as the basis for comparison.

As you can see, ELF Elysia is largely dependent on being 3* which is not accessible from the Battle pass alone, you would still need to wait for a future spending event to finish her. If she's not ranked to 3* she would just be a side-grade to Waters Edge, albeit a much cuter one. 2* Waters Edge vs 2* Elf Elysia often ends up having Waters Edge be the victor due to the reduced Ultimate CD giving more flexibility over multiple rotations. Even if you don't have Waters edge because you are new, I wouldn't go for Elysia ELF from the Battle pass and instead recommend using Dreamseeker.
Because of these issues, I would much rather recommend that you invest your Crystallum into either Herrscher of Human: Ego,
Palatinus Equinox, or Stigmata / Weapons in the battle pass instead of Elysia ELF.

HoH Review

There is a decent stigmata alternative in the form of "Willows" for her, so you would only "need" to get her weapon.
That being said, while she is not as reliant on her 3 piece Stigmata set as Palatinus Equinox, she still needs it to have smooth rotations and it does affect DPS over longer fights.

Elysia Pristine 3 Piece set bonus.
The effect of her stigmata gives her quite a bit of utility in the form of Weapon skill CD reduction, this isn't too big of a deal in shorter fights, especially during her Ultimate where she gains access to the weapon skill cooldown reset.
But outside of her Ultimate when she needs to do small rotations to build up SP, there will be a period of time where you have to sit there spamming charged attack after running out of weapon skill charges and putting it on cooldown.
Overall, if you had to pick something to get from this Battle Pass season I would recommend priority to Herrscher of Human: Ego
in the form of her missing gear or rankups for her with priority to S1 / S2 / SS. Although she does have a certain reliance on Elysia ELF and it would contribute to Thelema too if you don't have Songque, I would rather recommend you get it from future Spending events as an alternative instead of using 32 BP Crystallum. You would get a much better power to cost ratio investing into HoH rank-ups over the ELF.
Keep in mind however, we do not yet have the full Battle Pass gear lineup and they could put something really strong in there.

Closing
That's all for this guide~ I hope this helped!
Thanks to everyone that follows or leaves a like I really appreciate it!
