What to pull? Senadina - Lantern - Thelema | Gacha priority Guide | HI3rd [7.5 BETA]

I recommend to read this post in dark mode.

Hello and welcome to this Part 2 gacha priority Guide!

I hope I'll be able to help you, let's start~

✦ Table of contents ✦

Important Notes

Senadina

Lantern

Thelema

Songque

Conclusion

✦ Important Notes ✦

✧ Meta only ✧

Please know all I'm saying here is out of meta (= most effective tactic available) perspective, not for casual players who just want to enjoy their favourite characters.

Nobody should feel pressured to get or not get something just because I say it here, this is supposed to provide information for those who want to follow meta or want to consider it when making a choice.

Please remember it's a game. A game is pointless if you don't have fun.

Everyone has different approaches to a game to have fun and that's fine.

✧ Form of this Guide ✧

It's mostly theory, so please understand it'll be pretty dry.

I'll mostly focus on Astral Ring teams as they build the future meta. ELF teams have no future value. Basic knowledge about the Astral Ring mechanics are necessary. ou can read my guides for details:

All 3 Astral Ring Specializations explained | Astral Ring Guide | HI3rd [7.4]
698

Basically my plan is to go through the use and value of all 3 Valkyries and build a conclusion based on that.

✧ Part 1 ✧

There's a very simple reason I'm not covering any Part 2 Valkyries here.

They're all dead. No exceptions.

Ok, this is exagarrated, but you get the point.

Blue - Part 1 Boss

Red - Part 2 Boss

Both - P2 better, P1 usable

And that's only 2 patches after Part 2 release.

Not to mention Part 2 Valkyries just got way bigger DMG output due to Astral Ring being op

Part 1 is dying. And it's sad.

✦ Senadina ✦

Full Senadina Guide:

Deepspace Anchor: First Light - Senadina | Battlesuit Guide | HI3rd [7.3 BETA]
658

Typing: Lightning / Stardust

AR Speciialization: World Star

Wheel of Destiny Roles: Phantom Support (Physical and Elemental)

World Star Roles: Lightning DPS / Elemental Support / Resonance provider

✧ Main DPS potential ✧

Most of Senadina's abysses are Stardust or Symphony abysses. There's no Lightning up abyss as for now.

She'll probably lose some abysses soon due to... well...

*Officially a Physical Stardust Valkyrie

She should keep 5-6/8 abysses though

Overall Senadina has a pretty high DPS output and she only needs one more gacha S rank (Thelema)

It is around the level of Thelema's DMG output.

Also Senadina can work pretty well with a Part 1 team (Luna/Eden) and A rank characters (Coralie/Helia) in case you don't have another Part 2 S rank.

✧ Support potential ✧

Senadina is like an allrounder, giving a bunch of Elemental buffs to World Star and Wheel of Destiny characters.

*4/4 Senadina

World Star

In World Star teams she acts as Elemental Support and Resonance provider. She gives a little Total DMG but the focus is on Elemental Support.

She gives 12% (+4,5% for WAs) Elemental Breach and nice emounts of Elemental DMG and vulnerability.

She is most likely to be support for future World Star Elemental characters. However, please note currently no World Star DPS other than Senadina was released, so this only a future value of Senadina.

On field time for buff trigger: 3-4s

(QTE -> WA -> Basic ATK -> WA -> WA)

Wheel of Destiny

In Wheel of Destiny teams she acts as general Phantom Support and helps restoring the Astral Ring.

She has good buffs for Physical characters during Rondo as well as a bunch of Total DMG buffs. She doesn't have any Crit or Impair buffs though, due to which she probably won't be a very long lasting Physical support, but definitely still good. Her main issue as for now is being completely limited to the time of her Phantom buff.

As for now, she is becoming the next WoD Physical DPS' Support.

16% Elemental Breach for Wheel of Destiny characters which is triggered almost the whole time is a huge buff.

In addition to the Total DMG buffs she gives nice Elemental buffs as well, giving her great potential as long lasting Elemental Support.

Currently she supports Thelema together with Lantern and Lantern together with Thelema.

On field time for buff trigger: 0s

(Automatically happens off field)

✦ Lantern ✦

Full Lantern Guide:

Lone Destruction: Shadowchaser - "Lantern" | Battlesuit Guide | HI3rd [7.5 BETA]
499

Typing: Fire / Psy

AR Speciialization: Wheel of Destiny

Wheel of Destiny Roles: Fire DPS / Elemental and Crit Support

World Star Roles: Fire and Physical Support / Resonance trigger

✧ Main DPS potential ✧

Lantern mainly covers Fire and Ranged abysses.

Her abysses are mostly pretty safe as for now.

While Lantern's DMG output still outdoes P1 characters by far, she still cannot keep up with Senadina and Thelema.

Don't get me wrong though, the difference isn't too heavy.

A big downside is that she depends on two other S rank characters though, needing Thelema and Senadina.

In lower Disturbance one of them can be replaced by Coralie, at least one of the two is needed.

Also she doesn't work with P1 supports at all. It just doesn't deal DMG.

✧ Support potential ✧

Lantern gives Elemental as well as Physical buffs to World Star and Wheel of Destiny characters.

World Star

In World Star teams she acts as General Support and Resonance trigger. Also she helps restoring the Astral Ring.

Lantern provides a lot of Total DMG buffs and gives nice Elemental DMG buffs on top. Due to the lack of Breach she cannot keep up with Senadina, but she's still pretty nice.

She has additional buffs for Fire characters, so we can expect her to be a support for a future World Star Fire DPS.

Currently she can support Senadina, but is overall worse than Thelema.

Unlike Senadina Lantern also buffs Physical DMG though. On top of the amount of the Total DMG she gives 30% Crit Rate which will save a lot of hair with a future World Star Physical DPS.

She is most likely to be a support for the next WS Physical DPS.

On field time for buff trigger (no SO): 1-2s

(Firepower Rotation -> Ultimate)

On field time for buff trigger (SO): 6s

(Attacks until all Quantum Mech Energy stacks are used)

Wheel of Destiny

In Wheel of Destiny teams she acts as general Phantom Support and helps restoring the Astral Ring.

She provides good Total DMG and Elemental buffs, but once again falls behind Senadina due to the lacking Breach. As for now it's hard to say wether Thelema or Lantern will do better in future Elemental WoD teams.

Currently she supports Thelema together with Senadina.

However, Lantern has Physical buffs as well including a 30% Crit Rate buffs. Just like in World Star teams this'll help a lot with any Physical Wheel of Destiny DPS.

It is likely for Lantern to support a future Physical Wheel of Destiny character.

On field time for buff trigger: 1-2s

(Firepower Rotation -> Ultimate)

✦ Thelema ✦

✧ Main DPS potential ✧

Currently Thelema mainly covers Ice and Symphony abysses.

Same as Lantern's. 5/6 abysses are really safe currently. Symphony Kevin is shared with Senadina, they're really equal on it.

Thelema currently is barely behind Senadina's raw DMG. Overall those two are pretty equal.

Thelema heavily depends on Senadina. Also she does want Lantern, but she can work without her.

Senadina is not replacable without losing doubling the time u spend in the stage.

✧ Support potential ✧

[Work in progress... released on June 11th, I apologise for the delay]

Short summary:

  • World Star: Slightly better Elemental sup than Lantern, worse than Senadina
  • World Star: Current Senadina support
  • Wheel of Destiny: Elemental wise on par with Lantern, hard to say who wins (Fire: Lantern better)
  • Wheel of Destiny: Phys sup, can't keep up with Thelema and Senadina, can replace them probably

✦ Songque ✦

Firstly, considering she's an AstralOP she obviously doesn't help without a good team. Supports every currently released Astral Ring team.

lemme make it short:

S rank: Worse than most ELFs, SSS Dreamseeker outdoes (if we ever get that)

SS rank: Additional AR Intensity regeneration, HUGE BUFF in Nirvana. In Redlotus it's rather meh cause you only need one Stellar Outburst mostly anyway.

SSS rank: Big DMG buff.

Conclusion: If you're in Nirvana SS is a nice thing, SSS recommended. If you're below I'd argue SSS or nothing.

Getting only S rank is dumb either way.

✦ Conclusion ✦

Senadina > Thelema >= Lantern > SS/SSS Songque > Valkyrie Rank-ups

Senadina: Both other Valkyries depend on her. Also she's the best Elemental Support Astral Ring teams got while most characters are elemental (because there are 3 elements)

Also she doesn't depend on either of the other two and she has a gread raw DMG output. Her abyss coverage isn't as safe as the others but she's still better overall.

Thelema: She can work more easily with only one of the two others, being Senadina.

She has a secure coverage and higher raw DMG than Lantern. Also she's Senadina's best support, allowing a stronger Senadina team. Thelema can replace Lantern in Physical teams.

Lantern: She's not bad, but depends the most on the others.

Also the other two deal higher raw DMG and have the benefit of supporting Elemental DMG better. She's still nice to get and the difference between her and Thelema isn't huge, they have pretty similar values.
