Kinich is a 5-star Dendro Claymore character that primarily plays the role of a Main-DPS.

Burn
Kinich's frequent Dendro application makes him ideal for Burn teams. His ability to restore Nightsoul points when he hits opponents who are affected by Burning or Burgeon makes these his two best elemental reactions. Below is an example of a Burn team that includes Kinich as the Main DPS, Emilie and Xiangling as the Sub DPS’, and Bennett as the Healer.
Alternate Burn teams could have a composition of:
- Kinich - Collei - Thoma - Bennett
- Kinich - Nahida - Xiangling - Bennett
- Kinich - Emilie - Dehya - Bennett
Burgeon
Burgeon teams rely on creating Dendro Cores with Dendro and Hydro, then exploding them with Pyro for AoE damage. Kinich's ability to restore Nightsoul points when he hits opponents who are affected by Burning or Burgeon makes these his two best elemental reactions. Below is an example of a Burgeon team that includes Kinich as the Main DPS, Furina as the Sub DPS, Dehya as the Support, and Baizhu as the Healer.
Alternate Burgeon teams could have a composition of:
- Kinich - Nahida - Yelan - Dehya
- Kinich - Furina - Xiangling - Baizhu
- Kinich - Furina - Thoma - Kokomi
Below is an example of a Burgeon team that includes Kinich as the Main DPS, Xingqiu as the Sub DPS, Thoma as the Shielder, and Bennett as the Healer.
Hyperbloom
Hyperbloom teams utilise Dendro and Hydro to generate Dendro Cores, which Electro then triggers for them to explode. Kinich's Dendro application helps in this process. Below is an example of a Hyperbloom team that includes Kinich as the Main DPS, Nahida and Xingqiu as the Sub DPS', and Kuki Shinobu as the Healer.
Alternate Hyperbloom teams could have a composition of:
- Kinich - Fischl - Dendro Traveler - Kokomi / Barbara
Melt
Though Melt teams are not Kinich's most powerful, he can still be used in them. Using his Dendro to create a Burning effect can assist with the Melt reaction. Below is an example of a Melt team that includes Kinich as the Main DPS, Rosaria as the Sub DPS, Kazuha as the Support, and Bennett as the Healer.
Alternate Melt teams could have a composition of:
- Kinich - Ganyu - Kazuha - Bennett
- Kinich - Kaeya - Xiangling - Bennett
