Electro Off-field DPS Guide

Welcome to my Fischl Guide! This guide will focus on her Off-field DPS playstyle, covering basic info to advanced tips

If you have more questions or something is not clear I have a small discord where you can ask for help! Feel free to join at https://discord.gg/uZeRYTU

Full Infographic (TL;DR)

Talents Overview

Elemental Skill: Nightrider

Summons Oz dealing Electro DMG in a small AOE. Oz will remain on field and continuously attack nearby opponents.

• Hold the skill to adjust Oz's position. Press again at any time to reposition (this does not refresh Oz's duration)

• Oz has a chance to generate 1 Electro particle whenever he hits an enemy. With an average of 6 particles per cast (10 seconds)

• Oz's damage will snapshot when summoned (repositioning when Oz is on the field will snapshot again)

Elemental Burst: Midnight Phantasmagoria

Fischl takes Oz's form, greatly increasing her Movement Speed. Strikes nearby opponents dealing Electro DMG upon contact. Once the ability is over or interrupted, Oz is summoned. If Oz is already on field it's duration will refresh.

• Contrary to popular belief Fischl's Burst actually has a very tiny i-frame (invulnerability frame)

• Switching out of her Burst will allow you to cancel it and save time. Note that you cannot deal damage to the same enemy more than once

• If you are switching to Fischl to immediately Burst you can't switch right away again. Doing 2 auto attacks before casting your Burst is a good way to make use of that wasted time. Switch > 2 normal > Burst > Switch, below an example

Ascension 1: Stellar Predator

When Fischl hits Oz with a full-charged Charged Attack, Oz deals AoE Electro DMG equal to 152.7% of the arrow's DMG.

• A cool talent but it's unfortunately very hard to make it work

• You can proc Prototype Crescent passive with it but it's not very reliable and often works only vs opponents that are lower than Oz

Ascension 4: Undone Be Thy Sinful Hex

If your current active character triggers an Electro Elemental Reaction when Oz is on the field, Oz will deal Electro DMG equal to 80% of Fischl's ATK.

• A very strong Talent that gives more significance to ATK stats and weapons, makes Fischl even stronger in reaction teams

• The cooldown of this talent seem to be as short as 0,5~0,6 seconds (KQM library)

! No section for her Normal Attack sequence as it's pretty much irrelevant to her off-field DPS playstyle.

Artifact Sets

• 2 Thundering Fury / 2 Shimenawa / 2 Gladiator

Until a better and more specific set is released this the best all around option, any combination of these work (with 2 TF as priority)

• 2 Gambler + Any

Gambler provides a +20% to Oz damage, even if summoned via Burst. It's unfortunately held back by 4 star main/sub stats making it a more viable option at low AR, if you are going to use this try to use Flower and Feather

• 4 piece Thundersoother

Works only in mono Electro and Electro-Charged teams but has potential to out damage any other option

• 4 Tenacity of the Millelith

Even if she can keep up the set buff very well Oz does not benefit from it unless you reposition it to snapshot. It's generally not worth to miss on her damage for the Tenacity's buff but it highly depends on your team

Main/Sub Stats

• Sands is always ATK %

• Goblet is Electro DMG. ATK % can be used for lower AR players

• Circlet is Crit Rate or DMG depending on what stat you need the most

Your substats will focus on Crit and ATK % followed by ER %, flat ATK and EM. How much ER you will need heavily depend on your team, usually you can get away with lower.

Weapons

Assumptions

• Oz off-field damage gameplay

• 2 TF + 2 Glad

• LV 80/90 C0 vs LV 90 enemy (standard resistances)

• LV 8 Talents

• 60% Crit rate 120% Crit damage base (balanced according to weapon bonus)

• Mid investment substats

• Atk Sands, Electro Goblet, Crit Rate or DMG Circlet

• No Buffs

The best weapon for you might be different depending on your stats, team and artifacts. But this list will give you a general idea on Weapon power.

Teams

The main purpose of Fischl in a team is to deal good amount of single target DMG and generating Electro particles while taking almost no on-field time to setup.

She will bring value to every team but I would avoid playing her in teams where a particular non-Electro reaction is necessary like Freeze, Melt or Vaporize.

I will list a few meta teams below but again she fits (almost) everywhere!

Taser Teams

One of the best 4 star only teams currently in game. Sucrose here is the main DPS that applies Anemo constantly triggering both Xingqiu and Beidous Bursts. The high energy requirements of these 2 are greatly helped by Fischl. It's important to note that Sucrose and Beidou are great in AoE scenarios while Fischl and Xingqiu take care of single target situations, making this one of the best teams for Abyss. There's no healer (Xingqiu can't really be considered one) nor shield so the team's success really depends on the player ability. Below a few examples of other Main DPS for this team, healers and shields.

Other Main/Sub DPS for Taser team

Other units worth mentioning are: Raiden (with some anti-sinergy with Fischl since she doesn't have an impressive Burst), Bennett for buffs/heals without ruining reactions too much, Zhongli for Shield and Res shred, Mona and Lisa to apply Hydro/Electro often.

Superconduct Teams

Fischl especially at C6 has a very high uptime on Electro application and good damage making her one of the best Supercoduct partners for someone like Eula. This team as it is combines 2 energy hungry characters like Eula and Beidou with 2 amazing supports/batteries like Fischl and Diona.

But a Superconduct team can work with many other units. You can mix it adding Bennett, Zhongli or changing the Main DPS. Remember to keep someone that can apply Cryo often like Diona, Rosaria and Kaeya.

General Friends

If you want to make Oz hit like a truck this is not a full team recommendation but a few units that will do just that! Sara, Bennett and Kazuha are among the best buffers you can get but remember that you have to snapshot Oz! (by either buffing then summoning Oz or by summoning Oz, buffing and then repositioning him).

2 more team ideas are:

• Mono Geo teams (particularly Itto / Gorou) where Fischl is able to keep applying one element, creating Crystalize reactions for Gorou, energy, damage and somewhat helping vs elemental shields

• Overload teams with Main DPS like Yoimiya or Hu tao (usually with Xingqiu)

Constellations

C1 • No benefits for off-field DPS playstyle

C2 • An additional 200% ATK as DMG when summoning Oz, a decent boost

C3 • One of her best Constellations boosting directly Oz multipliers

C4 • An extra AoE to her Burst + some healing

C5 • Extra Talent levels on her Burst, not a priority

C6 • Her best Constellation, +2 seconds on Oz duration and extra instances of DMG dealing 30% of Fischl's ATK as Electro DMG

If you came this far thank you so much! This is way different from what I usually do... When I started I would only make a single image infographic and now this :D If you want to say hi there's small discord channel I use for my community at https://discord.gg/uZeRYTU feel free to join! And please let me know what you think about the guide! Should I keep doing them like this or do you prefer smaller (less images) formats?
