Hello Chest Hunters!
Apologies for taking a while to get this guide out. If you have already completed the event, I have included a few extra bonuses on maxing exploration that you may find interesting. For those who have not completed the event, hopefully these tips will help you with completing your exploration.
This guide will be divided into 3 sections:
1. Chest Information & Max Counts
2. Chest Tracking Tips
3. Chests NOT Displayed by Bokuso Box
Chest Information & Max Counts
1. There are 125 chests in total: 72 Common | 32 Exquisite | 15 Precious | 6 Luxurious
Click the links above if you want to see screenshots of those chests. The interactive map is accurate for this event, so if you used the interactive map, you should have all the chests.
2. These chests are only available during 2.5, so be sure to collect them before the patch ends.
3. These chests are not counted in the Enkanomiya achievements. It is considered a separate area like the Golden Apple Archipelago in 1.6.
4. Most of the chests DO NOT count towards the battle chronicle, but there are 3 precious chests that do. This brings the max precious chest count to 319. The 3 precious chests that count are the ones on that are unlocked by defeating the Shadowy Husks (Located on Islands with the Tower Mechanism)

5. There are a total of 1099 Primogems from this event.
Common Chests - 2 Primos (144 total)
Exquisite Chests - 5 Primos (160 total)

The Call of Thunder & Lightning - 30 Primos
Unlocking Waypoints - 5 Primos (45 total)
Aphotic Diffusal - 200 Primos
The Bunkoku Enigma - 40 Primos
6. Aphotium Ores, Tokoyo Legumes, Husk Gems do not respawn. There are more than enough to unlock all the waypoints, but here is the max count for fun.
Chest Tracking Tips
Since the chest counter in the event only goes up to 90 chests and the battle chronicle does not count most of the chests, it is a bit trickier to check if you have opened all the chests. Here are some tips below to help you with checking if you have collected all the chests.
1. Upgrading your Bokuso Box
The fastest way to clear the map is to upgrade the Bokuso Box to level 14 since this will show 50 chests at a time on the map. However, even at level 2, the Bokuso Box will mark nearby chests and challenges.
Note that regardless of the Bokuso Box's level, it Will NOT display the location of the following:
✧ Chests from quests
✧ Seelie Locations
✧ Electro-Seelie Locations
✧ Elemental Monuments that Spawn Chests
✧ Torch Puzzles that Spawn Chests
✧ Light Guiding Ceremony Puzzles
✧ Buried Chest
Fortunately, all of these are marked on interactive map tool, but I have included the trickier ones at the end of this guide for your reference.
2. Using the Traveler's Diary & Primogem Count to track chests
The Traveler's Diary is a handy way to keep track of your primogem and mora income. Since we know chests give the following:
Common Chests - 2 Primogem
Exquisite Chests - 5 Primogems
Precious & Luxurious Chests - 10 Primogems
You can use the Traveler's Diary to determine the number of each type of chest you have.

3. Using Light Realm Sigils to track chests
Unfortunately, there is no max light sigil count since the Sentou Trials can be infinitely repeated for light sigils. Everytime you replenish your Bokuso Box's energy at the statue, the Sentou Trials reappear. However, if you have been keeping track of which trials you have completed, you can do a bit of math to determine what type of chest(s) you are still missing.
Common Chests - 5 Light Realm Sigils (360 total)
Exquisite Chests - 10 Light Realm Sigils (320 total)
Precious Chests - 20 Light Realm Sigils (300 total)
Luxurious Chests - 25 Light Realm Sigils (150 total)
Unlocking Waypoints - 20 Light Realm Sigils (180 total)
TRGO Rewards - 180 Light Realm Sigils
Aphotic Diffusal - 140 Light Realm Sigils
The Bunkoku Enigma - 40 Light Realm Sigils
Total Light Realm Sigils From Limited Events: 1670
It costs 1500 Light Realm Sigils to fully upgrade your Bokuso Box, which leaves 170 extra Light Realm Sigils, not counting the Sentou Trials.
1 & 2 give 10 Light Realm Sigils
3 & 4 give 14 Light Realm Sigils
5 & 6 give 24 Light Realm Sigils
*Hotsauce08 informed me that the number of Light Realm Sigils from Sentou Trials scale with world level. These are the values for WL 8.
4. Manually Counting after reaching the 90/90 counter from the event achievements.
This method definitely works, but you will have to make sure you know when you hit the 90th chest.
Chests NOT Marked by Bokuso Box
This will be a short guide for chests that are more missable due to not being shown by the Bokuso Box.
The following chests are NOT marked by the Bokuso Box:
✧ Quest Chests - 7 total
✧ Seelie Locations - 14 total
✧ Electro-Seelie Locations - 16 (1 is associated with a luxurious chest that is marked by the Bokuso box)
✧ Elemental Monuments that Spawn Chests - 3 (other totems are related to chests marked by Bokuso box)
✧ Torch Puzzles that Spawn Chests - 2 (other torch puzzles are related to chests already marked by Bokuso box)
✧ Light Guiding Ceremony Puzzles - 11 total
✧ Buried Chest - 1 total
This guide will not include the Elemental Monument, Light Guiding Ceremony Puzzles, and the Buried Chest since those are clearly marked on the interactive map.
Quest Chests
There are a total of 7 chests locked behind quests.
6 Chests are locked behind Aphotic Diffusal: TRGO Part III.
When you are heading up the platforms to unlock the light guiding mechanism, you will encounter platforms with stairs extending out from it. Use the Bokuso Box to switch the direction of the stairs to reach the common chests. There are 2 chests per mechanism.
A luxurious chest is also locked behind The Bunkoku Enigma World Quest. Talk to Yabe to start this quest.
Seelie Locations
There are 14 Seelies in total.

This one is a bit tricky. Jump off the nearby cliff and you will see a room on the side of the cliff with the seelie.

Electro Seelie Locations
There are 16 Electro Seelies in total, but 1 of those Seelies is part of the luxurious chest puzzle, which is detectable using the Bokuso Box.
The first 1 - 12 are shown on the map below. 13 - 15 are the Electro Seelies from the islands with the tower mechanism (Part of the TRGO quest)
