Introduction
In 5.5 we got new equipment. In this post i'll show 2 weapons: Astral Rend: White Dwarf and Astral Divide: Pisces.
Let's look on mechanics and skills on those weapons.
Astral Rend: White Dwarf
Astral Divide: Pisces (pri-arm)
Recomendation for:
Spina Astera
Both weapon are signature for Spina Astera.
How to obtain?
Spina Astera's weapon has 2 methods to obtain:
1. FOCA selection
You will have only 1 discount for first 10x pulls (7 cards instead 10).
2. Special gacha
Special gacha returning pulls to you. For every 10 (up to 80) pulls you will get 5 (up to 40) focused cards.
Pri-arm have usual conditions to craft, you should reach 81 captain lvl and have non-pri version of this weapon in collection and can use for craft any 50lvl gacha scythe.
Full list of materials that you need to upgrade Astral Rend: White Dwarf to pri-arm and 65 lvl.
Skills and analysis
Astral Rend: White Dwarf (300 ATK, 12 CRT)
Active skill (6 SP, 16s CD):
- An underground blaze erupts and explodes near wielder, dealing 800% + 200% of fire damage and inflicting Flared state lasting 10s on hit.
- Flared enemies take 15% bonus fire damage.
- Spina Astera equip bonus: Astral Flare deals 10% ATK of fire damage on Flared enemies.
Passive skill:
- Basic, Charged, Combo attack deal 20% bonus total damage to Flared enemies.
- Spina Astera equip bonus: She restores 10 Astrum per second.
Astral Divide: Pisces (415 ATK, 39 CRT)
Active skill (6 SP, 16s CD):
- An underground blaze erupts and explodes near wielder, dealing 1200% + 200% of fire damage and inflicting Flared state lasting 10s on hit.
- Flared enemies take 12% bonus fire damage.
- Spina Astera equip bonus: Astral Flare deals 15% ATK of fire damage on Flared enemies.
Passive skill:
- Basic, Charged, Combo attack deal 25% bonus total damage to Flared enemies.
- Spina Astera equip bonus: She restores 20 Astrum per second.
Passive skill:
- Charged attack deals 20% bonus total damage.
- Spina Astera equip bonus: Charged attack or Ultimate boost her fire damage by 25% for 10s, during which Basic, Charged and Combo attack inflict Flared state lasting 10s on hit.
Weapon active
Analysis
-Can you use this weapons on other valkyries?
. We don't have other fire dps scythe users.
. Most buffs boost total damage for charge, basic, combo attack so you can use it as good alternatives for:
Starchasm Nyx - main damage from charged attacks.
Fallen Rosemary - main damage from basic, charge and ult attacks.
Stigyan Nymph - main damage from charged attacks.
Can't compare with their signatures weapons but still good.
-How effective use it with Spina Astera and how much it better than other scythes?
. You can easily get all buffs from scythe that gives massive boost for attacks.
. Her weapon skill deals massive nuke damage.
. Better to using weapon skill after second charge attack (Astral Flare: Combust) to boost damage from weapon skill from signature stigmas.
Comparison with other weapons
This team i will use for comparison
Damage test
As we see signature weapon way better than any other scythes.
Gameplay
This lineup i will use in abyss test:
SpA s2
AE sss (not unclocked SS and SSS skills)
MA sss
Basical main rotation for abyss: MA ult > AE ult > SpA qte > charge > charge > weap > basics > charge > ult > basics > charge.
Main rotation can be slightly different, it depends on Boss.
Conclusions
Astral Rend: White Dwarf and Astral Divide: Pisces good weapons and have highest priority if you want to build SpA. Powerful buffs and big nuke damage from active makes SpA really strong valkyrie. Also this weapons is in special gacha which renurning pulls so it's pretty stonks after you got must have things like HoF and HoS. And also this weapon can be good alternative on other scythe users that mostly using basic/charge/combo attacks (Nyx, SN, FR, SP).
