Signet of Decimation
Signets of Decimation are known for its high-risk high-reward play style since it actively encourages you to stay at low HP and even lose some of your current HP to benefit from their effects. With version 5.5, the Signet of Decimation receives a new core and three enhanced signets that introduces a variation to this high-risk high-reward play style. In this article, I will discuss and analyze the effects of the new signets.

Second Core Signet
The second core signet of Decimation forcibly reduces your current HP to 18% of the Max HP, and any healing effects you receive are ignored once your current HP is at 18%. This effect allows you to benefit from the normal signets since they require you to stay at low HP as much as possible. Aside from the HP cap, the core signet also introduces the Bloodboil Armor.
Bloodboil Armor
This buff has a cap of 1800 and is charged every time your Valkyrie receives any healing effects even if your current HP is at 18%. The number of charges is added directly to the valkyrie's base HP and is subjected to HP modifiers. At 1800 charges, Bloodboil Armor could boost your maximum HP by 2300 if your valkyrie is at level 15 in Elysian Realm since you get 28% bonus HP (1800 x 1.28 = 2304 HP). This is very helpful since the additional HP boosts the effects of the normal signets that increase your total damage, physical/elemental damage, and damage reduction. The Bloodboil Armor cap can be increased by getting any of the enhanced signets.
Enhanced Signets
All three enhanced signets increase the cap of the Bloodboil Armor by 500. Fully upgrading these signets only increases the additional charges from 500 to 800, which is quite unfortunate as it doesn't upgrade their other bonus effects.
Death, Life, Oblivion, and Existence
Aside from the increased cap, this signet provides damage reduction by 1% of the total Bloodboil Armor charges. For example, at 1800 charges, this signet would provide an 18% damage reduction. This allows for some margin of error especially for a signet that encourages a high-risk high-reward gameplay. In all honesty though, I would not recommend this signet since the DPS check in Elysian Realm is quite high. Add to the fact that Valkyries who use these signets generally have their own shields to mitigate damage. These include Luna Kindred and Palatinus Equinox.
Hometown, Homeland, Friends, and Acquaintances
Physical and elemental breach buffs are always good since their sources are rare outside of Elysian Realm. Unfortunately, upgrading this signet would only increase the Bloodboil Armor cap and not the breach buffs. Nonetheless, this signet should be picked if it's available.
Body, Bones, Heart, and Soul
This signet adds extra damage to your next attack whenever your valkyrie receives any healing, with a cooldown of 5s. Extra sources of damage is always welcome so this signet is a very good pick. The GIF below further demonstrates the signet's effect.
In this example, Jingwei's Wings healed Palatinus Equinox which activated the effect of the signet. Notice that my attack immediately afterwards dealt 449K.
Fully upgrading all the signets allows you to achieve a maximum of 4200 charges and a maximum HP of over 14000 which is nice to look at but I definitely would not recommend.
Suitable Valkyries
Palatinus Equinox is the best user of the new Signets of Decimation. One of her signets, the Blessing of Gallop, allows her to drain and maintain her health at 1 HP, maximizing the buffs of the signets, while her passive provides a very sturdy shield for survivability upon using an evasion skill. In addition, her passive also heals her every time she uses an evasion skill which lets her stack Bloodboil Armor charges easily.
Luna Kindred can also use these new signets. Her exclusive signets allow her to deal damage proportional to the amount of HP lost and Bloodboil Armor synergizes with this by increasing the maximum HP. However, one of the main problems Luna Kindred faces is her source of healing which is required to stack the Bloodboil Armor charges. Bringing Jingwei's Wings can partially help solve this problem.
