Spina Astera is the Rita new S-rank Fire Dealer Valkyrie in version 5.5 and you can get it for free from the event.
Spina Astera rankup or stamps can be obtained through Elysian Realm Shop and Spending Event and you will be able to rank her up to S2 or SS.
Spina Astera doesn't have a lot of special weather for her and the only top score weather she can get is on Argent Knight : Artemis (Ignite Weather).
Dominators of Wolves (Type Counter) being the second best option valkyrie to use after Infinite Ouroboros.
Even though she doesn't have much abyss weather, but she can perform pretty well in another weather with proper gear, support and rotation
For this post, I'm going to guide you through on using Spina Astera in abyss and how to do proper rotation.

1. Recommended Lineup [emoji]
Here is the first recommended lineup for Spina Astera. Azure Empyrea provide an Elemental Breach for team to deal damage while ignoring enemy elemental resistance and Midnight Absinthe boost team fire damage by using her ultimate lasting for 20s. This lineup greatly boost Spina Astera fire damage and very good for every boss to fight with.
Here is the second recommended lineup for Spina Astera. There might be some situation where Midnight Absinthe cannot provide support or some player doesn't have her full geared. Sakura Rondo is a very good substitute for Spina Astera fire support with Salvation of Sakura cross and Turgenev TB stigmata while middle stigmata can be placed with Avogadro M, Aslaug M or Fuhua Musician M.
For ELF, 3 Star Sirin as a Fire Support ELF.
If u don't have Sirin, 2* Fuxi ELF also can be used.
2. Rotation [emoji]
SpA AE MA
Now let me show you the simple rotation for Spina Astera using SpA AE MA lineup
- Start with Azure Empyrea, use Cosmic Duality active and do several combo to farm sp until about 110-125.
- Switch to Midnight Absinthe and do 2-3 charged atk to farm sp
- Depending on rotation, if you only gonna use Midnight Absinthe ultimate once, there's no need to farm many sp
- Use Midnight Absinthe ultimate when it's ready, switch back to Azure Empyrea and use ultimate for elemental breach buff
- If you using Sirin ELF or Fuxi ELF, make sure to use it right after Azure Empyrea ultimate to trigger Spina Astera QTE.
- If you don't use any ELF or it's in cooldown, use Azure Empyrea 4th Basic Sequence to ignite and then use ultimate.
- Switch to Spina Astera through QTE and do charged attack to enter astral harness
- Do several basic attack until SpA stack reach 20, don't forget to use Pisces weapon active too
- After reaching 20 stack, do 2 charged atk (one creating tornado, and the other final thrust), final charged attack will end Spina Astera harness mode
- Use Spina Astera Ultimate whenever it's ready, her ultimate will instantly stack to 20
- Use charged attack again for damage and end astral harness mode
- Repeat the rotation until you clear can the boss [emoji]
SpA AE SR
For SpA AE SR lineup, rotation is the same but start with Azure Empyrea Ultimate for breach buff, switch to Sakura Rondo to apply turgenev and drop Salvation of Sakura cross, switch to Spina Astera and do normal rotation for damage [emoji]
TIPS [emoji]
Between whether to use Midnight Absinthe Ultimate First or Azure Empyrea Ultimate, BOTH CAN WORK since Spina Astera rotation sequence is pretty fast, and can still cover whole Azure Empyrea Breach Duration [emoji]
3. Abyss Boss
You know how to do rotation? Now let me show you some of the boss that Spina Astera can deal with [emoji]
Argent Knight : Artemis (Ignite)
Argent Knight : Artemis is the best weather for Spina Astera and can score 850+ with proper rotation, better affix and higher SpA rank.
The most important thing to deal with AKA is her ignite trauma.
Filling her ignite trauma will temporary disable her glacial armor and make her take more fire dmg until the trauma ends.
Dominators of Wolves (Type Counter)
Spina Astera is the second best option for Dominators of Wolves (Type Counter) after Infinite Ouroboros.
Dominator of Wolves is a BIO - Type Boss and has shield on phase 2 that can be attacked with Fire or Lightning Type Attack.
With proper rotation and gear, Spina Astera can get reach 800+ easily.
Homu Magician (Bloodthirsty)
Homu Magician can be scored by most top valkyrie since it doesn't have a type
Spina Astera can score pretty well on Homu Magician since her tornado attack can gather small homu and deal high damage to them, which can be a problem for another valkyrie that doesn't have gather specialty
HoD Minion (IMG Type)
Even though Spina Astera is MECH Type, thanks to Midnight Absinthe being an IMG Type support valkyrie, Spina Astera can score still pretty well against HoD minion.
Herrscher of Sentience (Type Counter)
Herrscher of Sentience is BIO - Type Boss with 2 phase and hitcount shield during clone phase
While Spina Astera is not a top scorer for Herrscher of Sentience, being a MECH Valkyrie means she can still score pretty decently against Herrscher of Sentience
It is recommend to use Sakura Rondo support with Salvation of Sakura cross to deal with HoS hitcount shield on phase 2
Midnight Absinthe is okay to use since her buff is more powerful, but it can take quite long to break HoS shield, which means you will wasting a lot of score.
Bio-Mech Mobs (Bloodthirsty)
Bio - Mech Mobs Bloodthirsty Weather consist of BIO and MECH Mobs (duh!)
Even though Spina Astera can be used against mobs since she's MECH Type Valkyrie, every enemy has very high hitcount shield when they reach certain health which can be a problem for Spina Astera to deal with
Even though it can be hard, but doesn't mean it's impossible [emoji]
It's recommend to use SpA AE SR lineup with Salvation of Sakura cross to deal with high hitcount shield, and using Water Edge or Dudu ELF for gather mobs since they can quite annoying to gather.
With proper rotation, Spina Astera can still score around 700+

5. My Thought on Spina Astera
For anyone that doesn't have Infinite Ouroboros & Herrscher of Flamescion, you will appreciate on how good Spina Astera is [emoji]
While she cannot get top score on most of abyss weather, but she certainly can cover most of the boss in Redlotus
She only need her signature weapon and she can already do well in abyss with any f2p fire stigmata, but since her supply has refund, it would be good idea to fullset her
