BUDGET KEQING GUIDE
SUMMARY
Keqing is a 5-Star Sword user who is a great on-field Electro DPS character, especially in Aggravate teams

Keqing leveled to 90/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT DMG %) and to maximize her Aggravate DMG

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Thundering Fury is her Best Artifact Set. It can increase Electro and Reaction DMG, as well as reduce her Skill CD
- 4pc Thundersoother's is an option as it reduces the enemies' Electro RES (as long as you can keep Electro applied)
- While farming for a full set, you can use 2pc Set Mix instead
Main Stat & Substats
- ATK % Sands is typically the one used on Keqing
- In Aggravate teams, you can test between ATK and EM Sands to determine which is better for your build
WEAPON OPTIONS
- CRIT Weapons
- Black Sword - Increases NA/CA DMG
- Wolf Fang - Can increase the DMG and CRIT Rate of Skill/Bursts
- Harbinger of Dawn - 3-Star F2P option that can provide both CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. Passive is conditional on 90%+ HP on Keqing, so make sure to bring a good shielder (or healer)
- ATK Weapons
- Lion's Roar - Passive increases DMG against enemies affected by Electro
- Kagotsurube Isshin - Can give Keqing +15% ATK
- EM Weapons like Iron Sting and Toukabou Shigure can work well in Dendro teams. Keep in mind that the Umbrella Sword's Passive is more suited for single-target scenarios.
TEAM COMPS
- Aggravate - Keqing's preferred Reaction since the release of Dendro
- Dendro - Nahida, Baizhu, Kirara, Yaoyao, Collei, Dendro Traveler
- Electro - Fischl, Beidou, Lisa, Yae Miko, Kujou Sara, Kuki Shinobu
- Flex: Anemo VV holder, Zhongli, Furina, Xilonen
- Overloaded - Chevreuse makes this team work, but restricts it to only Pyro/Electro teammates. Given the knock back, Overloaded teams are better against bosses rather than lighter enemies
- Pyro - Xiangling, Bennett, Dehya, Thoma
- Electro-Charged - Hydro / Hydro or Electro / Anemo VV
- Hydro - Xingqiu, Yelan, Kokomi
- Electro - Fischl, Beidou, Kuki Shinobu, Yae Miko. Ororon has just released and he should work in this type of team as well!
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 90/90 (for additional CRIT and Aggravate DMG) & talent levels 8 / 8 / 8
- Potentially frees up resin that may be spent on talent domains to farm artifacts instead
