The Idea Behind the Budget Guides
Many of the guides I've seen on characters I enjoy require a lot of resources or include weapons that you can only obtain from the weapon banner. I wanted to make guides that were more resource-friendly, whether it is by saving XP books, Mora, Resin, or Primogems.
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude certain weapons that are only obtainable from the Weapon and Chronicled Wish banners.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to at least level 80/80 & talent levels 8 / 8 / 8 (typically for DPS characters) or 1 / 8 / 8 (typically for Support characters).
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
