BUDGET BEIDOU GUIDE
SUMMARY
Beidou is a 4-Star Claymore off-field DPS character who can deal coordinated Electro DMG through her Burst when the active character uses their NAs/CAs, particularly when there is more than 1 enemy. She prefers to have another Electro on the team to reduce her ER requirements
TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS
Beidou leveled to 80/90 due to her Ascension Stat (Electro DMG %). If you are using her in Aggravate teams, it is generally recommended to level her up to 90

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Emblem is a great set for Beidou since she it helps her build ER and DMG. It is generally used since this Domain is resin efficient.
- 4pc Thundersoother is also a great set in teams where you expect Electro to be on enemies constantly (Electro-Charged or Aggravate)!
- Flexible 2pc Set Mix to build the stats you need: 2pc Thundering Fury, 2pc Noblesse Oblige, 2pc Emblem, and 2pc +18% ATK Sets
Main Stat & Substats
- ATK % is going to be your preferred Sands main stat. If your Beidou is the only Electro on your team, then you can opt for an ER Sands instead to ensure you can get her Burst back comfortably
- If there's another Electro character on the team that can battery Beidou, she can usually meet ER requirements via substats (and 2pc Emblem set effect)
WEAPON OPTIONS
In most cases, CRIT Weapons are preferred over ATK % Weapons.
ATK % Weapons
- Wolf's Gravestone - Standard 5-Star weapon, great ATK % stat stick
- Luxurious Sea Lord - Limited-time Event weapon that is a great F2P Option. Passive increases Burst DMG
- Tidal Shadow - Craftable weapon that increases ATK % when Beidou is healed (can activate off-field)
- Beginner friendly F2P options: Prototype Archaic, Debate Club
CRIT % Weapons
- Serpent Spine - Battle Pass weapon that can increase Beidou's DMG output (if she doesn't lose Passive's stacks)
- Blackcliff Slasher - Shop weapon with CRIT DMG substat. However, Passive isn't as great as other options
ER Weapons
- Ultimate Overlord's Mega Magic Sword - Limited-time Event weapon, provides ATK % through its Passive
- Skyward Pride, Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
EM Weapons
- Rainslasher, Mailed Flower
TEAM COMPS
Please keep in mind that Beidou likes to have another Electro character on the team as it lowers her ER requirements and allows her to build more offensive stats!
- Fischl, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, Kuki Shinobu, Ororon, Iansan
Electro-Charged - 2nd Electro / Hydro / Anemo or Flex Support/Healer
- Hydro: Xingqiu, Kokomi, Yelan, Ayato, Neuvillette, Furina, Barbara
- Anemo VV: Sucrose and Heizou are great choices here! You can also use Kazuha, Venti, Lynette, etc.
Hyperbloom
- Off-field Electro: Raiden Shogun or Kuki Shinobu, Cyno/Clorinde can work in Quickbloom!
- Hydro: Neuvillette, Furina, Xingqiu, Yelan, Kokomi, Ayato
- Dendro: Nahida, Collei, Alhaitham, Baizhu, Dendro Traveler
Aggravate (assuming off-field Beidou) - 2nd Electro / Dendro / Flex
- On-field Electro DPS (Keqing, Raiden, Clorinde, Cyno) or off-field (Fischl, Yae Miko, Ororon)
- On-field Dendro DPS (Alhaitham, Tighnari, Nahida) or off-field (Nahida, Collei, Kirara, Dendro Traveler)
- Flex: Anemo VV, Shielder like Zhongli, possibly a second Dendro character if you like
Physical
- Physical DPS: Eula, Razor, Freminet
- Fischl and Raiden Shogun are great off-field Electro applicators for this team
- Flex: Shielder (Diona, Layla, Zhongli) or Cryo Support: Mika, Rosaria, Kaeya.
Overloaded - Pyro / Fischl / Chevreuse
- Pyro: Xiangling, Bennett, Mavuika, Arlecchino, GaMing, Yoimiya, Yanfei, Klee, Dehya
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 (for additional Electro DMG) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
