BUDGET AINO GUIDE
SUMMARY
Aino is a 4-Star Claymore Support character whose primary function is off-field Hydro application through her Burst

You can level Aino to 80/90 for extra EM, but this would only increase her personal DMG and doesn't give extra buffs to teammates. Left her Talents at Level 1 since her Damage is pretty negligible and not worth the investment for most people

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Silken Moon's Serenade is a great set since it increases her ER and provides the team with EM. This set can also increase Lunar-Reaction DMG, making it a solid Support set in Nod-Krai
- Aino can hold this since she wants to build ER, but she is not restricted to this set as other characters can also equip it
- Aino can also use other general Support sets depending on what can help the team (ATK %, DMG Bonus, EM)
Main Stat & Substats
- ER is the most important stat for Aino since she is reliant on her Burst
- I would say a CRIT Rate Circlet is great if you're using a Favonius Greatsword, but the other Goblet/Circlet Main Stats are fairly flexible as long as you build up enough ER, especially since Aino's DMG is not the main focus of her build
WEAPON OPTIONS
- ER Weapons are highly recommended since they will help get her Burst back: Favonius Greatsword, Katsuragikiri Nagamasa, Sacrificial Greatsword
- ER Weapons with EM related Passives: Flame-Forged Insight, Master Key, Forest Regalia
TEAM COMPS
Aino can be used on various teams since she provides off-field Hydro application and is widely accessible as a free 4 Star.
She particularly stands out for Flins' Lunar-Charged teams (especially if players don't have Ineffa), by enabling Moonlight: Ascendant Gleam for his kit as an early Nod-Krai character!
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 (for additional CRIT DMG) & talent levels 1 / 1 / 1
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines/talent domains to farm artifacts instead
