Budget Yae Miko Guide [Version 5.6]

From Budget Guides!

BUDGET YAE MIKO GUIDE

SUMMARY

Yae Miko is a 5-Star Catalyst off-field DPS character who specializes in Electro application, making her a great pick in teams like Quicken/Aggravate and Chevreuse Overloaded

TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS

Yae Miko leveled to 80/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT Rate %).

In Quicken teams, it is beneficial for her to be Level 90!

ARTIFACTS

Artifact Sets

  • 4pc Golden Troupe is a great option for Yae Miko since it can increase her Skill DMG greatly, but it unfortunately won't increase her Burst DMG
  • 4pc Gilded Dreams is another great option for Dendro-reaction related comp, nice as it gives her both ATK % and EM
  • 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate is a solid option when you have to build a lot of ER for Yae and it can increase her Burst DMG. Generally not used as much anymore since the release of Dendro Element/Golden Troupe Set
  • If you don't have any of the above sets, a 2pc set mix is also great for Yae:
  • 2pc Emblem to assist you in reaching ER goals, 2pc Thundering Fury to increase Yae Miko's Electro DMG
  • 2pc Golden Troupe to buff Skill DMG, 2pc Noblesse Oblige to buff Burst DMG
  • 2pc +18% ATK set or 2pc +80 EM set (more preferred in Dendro-reaction comps)
  • 4pc Thundersoother can also work well in Electro-Charged team comps

Main Stat & Substats

  • Generally ATK Sands is great, EM Sands is recommended for Quicken/Aggravate comps

WEAPON OPTIONS

CRIT Weapons: Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, The Widsith, Solar Pearl

ATK % Weapons:

  • Skyward Atlas - Solid Standard Banner weapon with a Passive that increases Elemental DMG Bonus
  • Flowing Purity - Craftable weapon that can increase Elemental DMG Bonus with a consistent healer on the team
  • Oathsworn Eye - Event weapon with an ER Passive

Other

  • Hakushin Ring - ER substat. Passive increases the Party's Elemental DMG Bonus after causing an Electro reaction (requires a bit of on-fielding)
  • Beginner Friendly: Mappa Mare or Magic Guide provide some EM and an okay Passive for Yae, more viable for Aggravate teams

TEAM COMPS

Generally recommended to play Yae Miko with an Electro battery like Raiden or Fischl to help with any ER issues

Quicken

  • Dendro DPS for Spread: Tighnari, Alhaitham, Nahida
  • Second Electro: Fischl, Beidou, Raiden, Lisa, Kuki Shinobu, Ororon
  • Electro DPS for Aggravate: Raiden, Keqing, Cyno
  • Off-field Dendro: Dendro Traveler, Collei, Nahida, Yaoyao, Emilie
  • Flex/Buffer: Can run a shielder (Zhongli, Layla, Diona, Baizhu, Kirara, Lan Yan), Anemo VV, or Xilonen (recommended with Electro DPS but not Dendro DPS). Can add a Pyro character if using Emilie for a QuickBurn team

Chevreuse Overloaded - Typically 2 Pyro, 2 Electro

  • DPS Options: Yoimiya, Yanfei, Arlecchino, GaMing, Lyney, Mavuika, Raiden, Clorinde, Varesa
  • Pyro Support: Thoma, C4 Yanfei, Xiangling, Bennett, Dehya
  • Electro Support: Fischl, Lisa, Beidou, Ororon, Kujou Sara (with Electro DPS), Iansan (with Movement DPS)

Mono Electro - best if you have Kujou Sara/her Constellations, Bennett can be used as a substitute or possibly together. Typically want to run another Electro DPS character such as Raiden with her as well!

  • Last slot is usually an Anemo VV or other buffer like Xilonen

Electro-Charged / Soup if adding a Pyro character

  • Hydro: Neuvillette, Furina, Xingqiu, Yelan, Kokomi, Ayato, Mona
  • Off-field Pyro: Xiangling, Mavuika, Thoma, Dehya
  • Anemo Drivers: Sucrose, Yumemizuki Mizuki, Ifa (primarily for Electro-Charged). Can use any Anemo VV holder for Soup/OverVape comps

Yae can also be slotted in with Physical teams (supporting Eula, Razor, Freminet) or support other DPS characters like Navia, Chasca, Wanderer, etc.

Notes:

  • Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
  • With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
  • The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
  • This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
  • Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 or level 90/90 (for additional CRIT Rate and maximum reaction DMG in Quicken/Aggravate teams) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
  • Potentially frees up resin that may be spent on talent domains to farm artifacts instead

These are the concepts behind the Budget Guides and I hope it can help some of you!
