BUDGET MAVUIKA GUIDE

Mavuika is our 5-Star Claymore-wielding Pyro Archon. She is primarily played as the on-field Pyro DPS who attacks with her bike (Hold Skill & Burst) but she can also act as Support through her off-field Pyro application (Tap Skill) and A4 DMG buffs to the active character (after she Bursts).

Mavuika does not use Elemental Energy to Burst, but rather “Fighting Spirit”, which can be gained quickly with the help of other Natlan characters in the Party (any Nightsoul Points they consume will also be converted to “Fighting Spirit”).

WEAPON OPTIONS

If you lack any of the below weapons, there are a few F2P options you can use!

• Tidal Shadow (Craftable), Rainslasher (EM, better in Vape teams), Earth Shaker (Craftable), Mega Magic Sword (Event)

Mavuika can act as either an on-field Pyro DPS or an off-field Pyro applicator, which gives her some flexibility for teammate options. Because of how her Burst works, it is most ideal to have at least one other Natlan character on the team to help accumulate Fighting Spirit faster. 

On-Field Mavuika

• Buffer / Support: Anemo VV (Sucrose, Kazuha, etc), Xilonen, Citlali, Bennett, Nicole, Durin
• Vaporize - Hydro (Furina, Aino, Kokomi, Yelan/Xingqiu) / Buffer / Flex
• Melt - Cryo (Citlali, Rosaria, Layla, Diona / Buffer / Flex 
• Overloaded - Chevreuse / Electro / Electro or Pyro
• Electro: Iansan, Ororon, Fischl, Ineffa, Lisa, Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Kuki Shinobu
• Pyro: Bennett, Durin, Nicole, Xiangling, Dehya

Off-field Mavuika

• Vaporize - Hydro DPS: Mualani, Neuvillette
• Melt - Cryo DPS: Wriothesley, Ganyu, Lohen
• Overloaded - Electro DPS: Clorinde, Raiden, Varesa
• Burning - with Kinich and/or Emilie on the team
• Mavuika can also be a Flex slot in Navia, Varka, and Chasca teams

TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS

Mavuika leveled to 80/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT DMG %)

Notes:

• Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
• With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
• The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
• This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
• Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 (for additional CRIT DMG) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
• In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (418 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
• It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
