BUDGET AMBER GUIDE
SUMMARY
Amber is a Standard 4-Star Bow character and someone who has been with us since the beginning of our journey in Teyvat! She may be played as a Support character, but is also capable of Burgeon and DPS playstyles. This guide will mainly discuss her Support Build

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Noblesse Oblige - Buffs team's ATK % for a short time
- 4pc Instructor - Similar to Noblesse, buffing team's EM for a short time. This set may be preferred over Noblesse depending on the team comp you're running. Keep in mind that this is a 4-Star Artifact Set, so the maximum stats will be lower.
- If you're struggling with Energy Recharge, you can use 2pc Emblem / 2pc Exile
Main Stat & Substats
- Generally, you will use an ER Sands. If you can comfortably get her Burst back (perhaps with Favonius Warbow), you can switch to an ATK Sands instead
WEAPON OPTIONS
Support Amber's weapons are fairly limited in that they all provide ER substats. Favonius Warbow is an ideal F2P-obtainable option as it provides the most Energy Recharge and can help with the team's Energy Requirements as well.
If you don't have this weapon available, you can also use End of the Line (Craftable), Sacrificial Bow, or Fading Twilight (limited-time Event Bow) for their ER substats.
If you're looking for other weapon options, DPS Amber will enjoy CRIT/ATK % Weapons, while Burgeon Amber likes EM Bows
TEAM COMPS
- Amber can help set up VV Shred for characters like Hu Tao/Yoimiya, but could potentially be used for other Pyro DPS characters as well
- If you're planning on using Amber on-field, she can be played in Melt teams or in Burgeon teams
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wishd as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
