BUDGET FURINA GUIDE
SUMMARY
Furina is a 5-Star Hydro Off-Field DPS and Support character who can deal a lot of off-field Hydro DMG with her Ousia-aligned Skill and can grant DMG Buffs to the team with her Burst! Her kit revolves around HP changes

Furina leveled to 90/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT Rate %) and the fact that her DMG scales with her Max HP
TALENT EXPLANATIONS
Most of the time, Furina will be in her Default (Ousia) state, dealing off-field Hydro DMG!
Pneuma can provide healing, but it is better to have a dedicated healer to provide healing/Fanfare stacks for her Burst - her Skill's healing interval is a bit slow and it only heals the active character. Also note that Pneuma doesn't provide any Energy!

ARTIFACTS
Artifact Sets
- 4pc Golden Troupe is her Best Artifact Set! Furina takes next to no field time and her personal DMG is centered around her Skill DMG so she is able to take advantage of the Set easily!
- You can use temporary 2pc Sets that provide HP / ER / Hydro DMG or a 4pc Support set like Tenacity, Noblesse, Scroll, Silken Moon - these options are worse for her personal DMG
Main Stat & Substats
- If you're using an ER weapon, you can potentially use an HP % Sands, otherwise I would recommend an ER Sands for her! Furina's Burst is an important part of her kit, so make sure you can get her Burst back comfortably
- HP % Goblet is generally preferred over Hydro. It helps you reach the 40k HP goal (A4 Passive)! If you have her C2, you can choose between HP or Hydro Goblet since the Constellation will provide a lot of HP % for you.
- ER is important for her since her Burst provides DMG buffs for the team! She'll also like CRIT and HP Substats
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Energy Recharge Weapons:
- Serenity's Call - Nod-Krai Craftable that provides Max HP and a bunch of ER
- Festering Desire (Old Event), Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (Pipe Sword, seeold Fishing guide made in Version 4.0, there are likely more fishing spots to visit now, so you can also use an Interactive Map to make the process quicker)
- Favonius Sword - Lowers Furina's personal DMG but provides more Energy for herself and the team!
- Other ER Weapons (not as preferred, but can be used temporarily): Skyward Blade, Skyrider Sword, Sapwood Blade
- CRIT Weapons can be used as a stat stick, but their Passives (at least the ones that aren’t exclusively on the Weapon Banner) don’t suit her
- Wolf Fang - Battle Pass Weapon, Passive increases DMG dealt and CRIT Rate of Skills and Bursts
TEAM COMPS
Furina is relatively flexible in that Off-Field Hydro Application and buffs are almost never bad! Most teams would be happy to have her join them! She only needs the help of a good healer (preferably one who can heal the entire Party)!
- Viable team-wide healers include: Kokomi, Barbara, Sigewinne, Escoffier, Charlotte, Mika, Jean, Xianyun, Baizhu, Yaoyao, Noelle, Qiqi
- Although Bennett/Xilonen are single-target healers, their buffs are also valuable and can be paired with Furina for double buffs
Keep in mind that Furina's DMG buffs from her Burst does not affect Lunar-Reaction DMG, so you can still use her with Nod-Krai characters for her Hydro application but skip her Burst since it doesn't benefit the main DPS of those teams!
- Freeze
- DPS: Skirk, Wriothesley, Ayaka, Ganyu, Neuvillette, Ayato
- Cryo Support: Escoffier, Rosaria, Shenhe, Citlali, Kaeya, Charlotte, Mika, Qiqi
- Hydro Support: Xingqiu, Yelan, Dahlia, Aino
- Flex: Anemo VV Holder, Healer (if there isn’t one yet), another Support character
- Electro-Charged - Electro / Electro / Flex or Anemo VV
- Electro: Flins, Ineffa, Fischl, Ororon, Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Beidou, Kuki Shinobu
- Anemo: Drivers (Mizuki, Sucrose, Ifa, Sayu) or general VV Support characters
- Other Flex: Healers like Kokomi, Kuki Shinobu, etc. to stack Fanfare.
- Mono Hydro (Escoffier or 1 Anemo) - Pick 2 Hydro: Neuvillette, Kokomi, Xingqiu, Yelan, Ayato, Sigewinne, Barbara
- Double Hydro Core - Has been strong since they changed the Hydro Resonance to increase Max HP%. Furina pairs really well with Xingqiu/Yelan and can be slotted into most reaction teams (like Vaporize) that appreciate Hydro application.
- Pyro DPS for Vaporize: Hu Tao, Mavuika, Arlecchino, Yoimiya
- Quickbloom / Hyperbloom - Dendro / Electro / Flex
- DPS: Nahida, Alhaitham, Cyno, Clorinde, Nefer for Lunar-Bloom
- Off-field Support: Kuki Shinobu, Raiden Shogun, Nahida, Lauma, Collei, Dendro Traveler
- Flex: Can run Anemo character or another Dendro character (Yaoyao and Baizhu can be used as Healers!)
Furina can also be used as a general Flex slot to buff DPS characters like Xiao, Wanderer, Chasca, Navia, etc.
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 90/90 (for additional CRIT Rate and Max HP) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- Potentially frees up resin that may be spent on talent domains to farm artifacts instead
