BUDGET MIKA GUIDE
SUMMARY
Mika is a 4-Star Polearm Support character who is capable of buffing Physical DMG and ATK SPD through his Skill and A1 Passive. His Burst also heals the Party
Similar to some of the other niche 4-Star support characters (Kujou Sara & Faruzan), one of his biggest supportive Constellations is locked behind his C6: +60% Physical CRIT DMG.

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Noblesse Oblige - Most optimal as it can buff the entire team. 4pc Song of Days Past is another set capable of buffing, but is more conditional.
- 4pc Exile can be a secondary 4-Star artifact option if you are newer as it can provide Energy for your entire team
- 2pc Set mix between Emblem / HP / Healing Bonus can help balance your stats while allowing Mika to heal more through his Burst.
Main Stat & Substats
- Focus on ER most importantly, especially if you're running 4pc Noblesse so you can make full use of the 4pc Set Bonus.
- Otherwise, he is relatively easy to build since he doesn't need many offensive stats.
- CRIT Rate if you are running Favonius Lance
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Favonius Lance - great Weapon option as it helps with his Energy requirements and can also provide Energy for the team. If you don't struggle with Bursting, use an HP weapon on Mika
- Dialogues of the Desert Sages is the next best option since it gives HP substat and Energy through the Passive. However if you missed this limited-time event, Rightful Reward (Craftable) is a similar weapon but provides less HP %
- Other ER Weapon options: Skyward Spine, Prototype Starglitter (Craftable), The Catch (Free through painful fishing). The Passives on these weapons are not that great for Mika, but if you do not have a Favonius Lance for him (seeing as it is a widely used weapon) and struggle to meet ER requirements, these are also possible but are usually better on other characters
- Black Tassel - 3-Star completely F2P option with the highest HP % substat, but Passive doesn't help with ER like the other two HP polearms
TEAM COMPS
Mika's kit is best utilized as a Support character in a Physical team comp
- Eula / Freminet / Razor / Keqing / Fischl / Rosaria are some Physical DPS options that come to mind
- Generally Physical teams with Mika will want another Cryo character, the Physical DPS, and an Electro unit
- Off-Field Electro: Fischl, Yae Miko, Beidou, Lisa, Raiden, Kuki Shinobu, Ororon
- Cryo options: Rosaria, Kaeya, Layla, Shenhe
- Normal ATK SPD buffer - Can work thanks to his Skill, but doesn't make full use of his kit
- Characters that would benefit: Yoimiya, Ayato, Wanderer - May want Bennett as well in these comps
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
