Artifact Sets
- 4pc Husk of Opulent Dreams and 4pc Golden Troupe are both great options for Albedo. The former is a great source of DEF % and also gives a bit of Geo DMG Bonus, while the Fontaine set greatly increases his Skill DMG
- While you farm for a full set, a 2pc set mix between Husk, Golden Troupe, and Archaic Petra will work!
Main Stat & Substats
- Gorou can increase DEF of teammates through his kit. If you don't plan on using Albedo and Gorou together in a team, then a DEF % Circlet can be used instead of a CRIT Circlet.
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Cinnabar Spindle is a great option if you played the Limited-Time Event back in the day. It provides DEF % substat and increases Skill DMG as well
- Harbinger of Dawn is a great alternative F2P Weapon (3-Star) as it can provide CRIT Rate and DMG through the Passive and Substat!
- Wolf-Fang - Battle Pass weapon with CRIT Rate substat and Passive increases Skill DMG a bit
- Traveler's Handy Sword - 3-Star weapon and the only other DEF % Sword in the game currently. However, Harbinger of Dawn will typically perform better than this sword as it offers much less than Cinnabar Spindle
TEAM COMPS
- Albedo can be used to support Geo teammates such as Itto/Noelle in Mono Geo or Navia/Ningguang/Chiori in Quickswap teams
- Gorou is typically preferred in Mono or Triple Geo teams
- Flex slot on this team can be a shielder (Layla, Thoma, Zhongli), off-field Elemental applicator (Fischl, Rosaria, Xingqiu, etc.), or a healer
- Quickswap teams have flexible teammate options but typically prefer at least one off-field Elemental applicator
- He also pairs well with Zhongli for Geo Resonance (extra DMG). Zhongli has a strong shield and RES Shred, while Albedo can provide EM (great in Vaporize/Melt teams) and some off-field DMG.
- The last two slots are fairly flexible! Any two teammates who synergizes well with each other or likes having Resistance to Interruption will work
- You can alternatively pair Albedo with the newly-released Chiori
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicle Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 90/90 (for additional Geo DMG and maximum Base DEF) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8. This potentially frees up resin that may be spent on talent domains to farm artifacts instead
