BUDGET FREMINET GUIDE
SUMMARY
Freminet is our newest 4-Star Claymore DPS character who can function as either a Physical DPS or Cryo DPS character depending on how you use his Skill
If Physical DPS, Freminet will ideally focus on getting to Pressure Level 4 (Skill -> Spam NA), while Cryo DPS Freminet prefers Pressure Level 0 (kind of like Skill Spam)
TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS
Freminet leveled to 80/90 for extra ATK % and his status as a DPS-focused character. You can alternatively choose to leave him at Lv 80/80 to save some resources

C3 and C5 are also good Constellations for him!
ARTIFACTS
Artifact Sets
- Depending on which DMG type you are building him for, his ideal Artifact Set will change
- For Physical, 4pc Pale Flame is preferred, but any 2pc Physical DMG Set / 2pc ATK % Set combinations can work as well!
- For Cryo, 4pc Blizzard Strayer is still great for him, even if he doesn't get the extra CRIT Rate against Frozen enemies. Otherwise, 2pc Blizzard Strayer / 2pc ATK % Sets can work great too
- 2pc Emblem is an option if you're struggling to get his Burst back!
Main Stat & Substats
- Artifact Main Stats are similar to those for your typical DPS characters. Freminet can use an ER Sands if he isn't using an ER Weapon or his teammates aren't helping him out much in this department
- If you have his C2 or teammates who can battery him (such as Fischl/Rosaria, etc.), then you can run him with less ER!
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Skyward Pride - Great Standard Banner weapon option as it has high Base ATK, an ER substat, and increases DMG %
- Serpent Spine - CRIT Rate substat and DMG increasing Passive
- Prototype Archaic - Craftable 4-Star with ATK % substat and a Passive that can deal a bit of extra DMG
- Wolf's Gravestone - ATK % substat and Passive!
- Snow-tombed Starsilver - Craftable 4-Star with Physical DMG Bonus substat and a Passive that can deal a bit of extra DMG
- Tidal Shadow - The new Fontaine Craftable can work if there is a reliable off-field healer on the team
- Beginner Friendly Weapons if you don't have any of the above options:
- Debate Club - 3-Star weapon with ATK % substat. It's Passive increases NA/CA DMG after using Skill
- Skyrider Greatsword - 3-Star weapon obtainable through Treasure Chests. Provides Physical DMG Bonus substat, while its Passive increases ATK %
TEAM COMPS
- Highly recommended to bring an off-field Hydro applicator thanks to his A4 Passive, which incentivizes Freezing enemies so Freminet can Shatter!
- Options include: Xingqiu, Yelan, Kokomi, Barbara, Ayato, Mona. The first 3 listed are more ideal
- Physical DPS: Hydro / Electro / Flex
- Off-field Electro: Fischl, Kuki Shinobu, Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Beidou
- Flex:
- Cryo Support: Mika (Great in Physical teams!), Rosaria, Layla, Kaeya, Diona, Shenhe
- Other: Bennett, Zhongli
- Cryo DPS: Cryo / Hydro / Anemo
- Cryo Support/Battery: Rosaria, Layla, Kaeya, Diona, Chongyun, Shenhe
- Anemo VV Holder: Kazuha, Jean, Heizou, Sucrose, Sayu, Lynette
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the weapon banner.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 (for additional ATK %) & talent levels 8 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
