BUDGET BENNETT GUIDE

SUMMARY

Bennett is a 4-Star Sword character who is a really great unit, capable of healing, buffing characters, applying Pyro, and is also a great battery! Similar to Xingqiu, he is a very sought-after character in many team comps and is essentially the King of Supports

TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS

Bennett leveled to 90/90 for maximum Base ATK, if you are low on resources (like Mora), I would suggest leveling up Bennett's Skill last

Artifact Sets

• 4pc Noblesse Oblige is a great Support for ATK scaling characters. If someone on the team already has this equipped, 4pc Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City is a good alternative. 
• 4pc Instructor can provide an EM buff to the team, but is a 4-Star Artifact Set so its stats are lower and it can be more difficult to build ER on Benny

Main Stat & Substats

• Energy Recharge is important! An ER Sands is highly recommended. If you can comfortably Burst without one, you can opt for an HP % Sands
• HP% for Goblet and Circlet if you prefer more healing, Pyro DMG Goblet and CRIT Circlet if you want to do some damage
• While he is primarily looking for ER and HP substats, offensive substats like CRIT, ATK %, and EM are good for his personal damage 

WEAPON OPTIONS

For Bennett, High Base ATK Weapons are preferred to maximize his buff capability, but if you do not get enough ER through Artifacts, an ER Weapon can work as well 

• Aquila Favonia - 674 Base ATK Sword, highest obtainable from the Standard Banner!
• Skyward Blade - 608 Base ATK and also provides ER substat 
• Sapwood Blade - Craftable weapon with 565 Base ATK and ER substat. Passive works in Dendro teams 
• Other weapons with 565 Base ATK but does not give Bennett ER: Prototype Rancour (Craftable), Calamity of Eshu (Event), Finale of the Deep (Craftable), Blackcliff Longsword (Shop)
• Favonius Sword - Low Base ATK (454), but is highly recommended if you need to generate Energy Particles for the team, as long as you have some CRIT Rate substats

TEAM COMPS

Pretty universal unit and appreciated in many team comps with ATK scaling DPS' due to his Supportive capabilities! Only a few examples are listed above as there are too many different comps to list.

Hypercarry teams have a lot more variation now with other Support characters available (Kazuha, Xilonen, Furina, Citlali, as well as dedicated Supports like Kujou Sara, Faruzan, Gorou, Chevreuse, etc.)

Notes:

• Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
• With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
• The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
• This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
• Materials for ascending the character to level 90/90 (for maximum Base ATK) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
• Potentially frees up resin that may be spent on talent domains to farm artifacts instead
