BUDGET ORORON GUIDE
SUMMARY
Ororon is a 4-Star Bow character whose kit is centered around the Electro-Charged reaction. He primarily deals off-field Electro DMG and is capable of being a Support unit by equipping the 4pc Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City Artifact Set!
TALENT & ASCENSION MATERIALS
TALENT EXPLANATIONS
- Skill = Bouncing Orb, activates A1 and A4 Passive. Better with C1
- Burst = Taunt
- A1 = Ororon's Nightsoul Blessing state. This is his primary source of DMG and it is dependent on teammates (prefers Hydro and Electro buddies)
- A4 = Gives Energy to active character (and possibly himself too)

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City is the best Set option since Ororon is a Natlan Support character
- If you already have someone else on the team with this set equipped, something like 4pc Noblesse Oblige to buff ATK scaling characters or 4pc Instructors as a third option (if someone uses Noblesse or your main DPS isn't ATK scaling)
Main Stat & Substats
- ATK Sands is better for Ororon's damage. ER Sands is recommended to make it easier to get Burst back, especially if he is the only Electro character on the team or isn't using 4pc Scroll
WEAPON OPTIONS
- ER Weapons - Can make it easier to get his Burst back
- Favonius Warbow - Great general Support Weapon for Energy hungry teams
- Fading Twilight - Event weapon, Passive increases DMG Dealt
- ATK Weapons are great for his personal DMG - Chain Breaker, Song of Stillness (healer required)
- The Stringless - EM Substat option that increases his personal DMG
- Skyward Harp - 5 Star Standard Weapon that provides CRIT Rate and DMG as well as high Base ATK
TEAM COMPS
Ororon's kit is centered around the Electro-Charged and Nightsoul DMG, so it is best to play him in those archetypes.
- Electro-Charged
- On-fielder: Sucrose, Yumemizuki Mizuki, Ifa, Neuvillette, Ayato, Kokomi, Tartaglia, Clorinde, Keqing, Raiden
- Off-fielders: Xingqiu, Yelan, Furina, Kokomi, Ineffa, Fischl, Beidou, Yae Miko, Lisa
- Anemo VV holder is recommended over Xilonen if Ororon has 4pc Scroll equipped as the Set Effect does not stack!
- Chevreuse Overloaded
- DPS: Mavuika, Arlecchino, GaMing, Lyney, Yoimiya, Raiden, Clorinde, Varesa
- Off-fielders: Fischl, Yae Miko, Mavuika, Xiangling
- Buffers: Bennett, Iansan, Kujou Sara
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
