BUDGET ESCOFFIER GUIDE

Escoffier is a 5-Star Cryo Polearm character who provides off-field Cryo DMG through her Skill, team-wide healing with her Burst, as well as Hydro and Cryo RES Shred. The more Hydro or Cryo characters in the team, the higher the RES Shred will be.

WEAPON OPTIONS

Escoffier is not particularly picky about her weapon and does well with most weapons that provide CRIT / ATK stats.

If you are struggling to get her Burst back and would like to use an ER weapon, you can pick from the two listed below or Favonius Lance / Skyward Spine at the cost of her personal DMG!

Escoffier's RES Shred is highest if the team has only Hydro/Cryo teammates, but you can still use Escoffier as a flex healer/sub-DPS in Melt / Stellar teams, but you wouldn't be able to take full advantage of the RES Shred part of her kit.

Escoffier is made for Freeze teams, as well as Mono Cryo or Hydro teams. She also pairs really well with characters like:

• Skirk who also has a Passive that incentivizes a pure Hydro/Cryo team
• Furina since Escoffier provides team-wide Burst healing to maximize Furina's buffs
• RES Shredders like Shenhe (Cryo), Citlali (Hydro), Vodyanitsa (Anemo or Hydro/Cryo)
• Cryo Stellar DPS (currently limited to Sandrone, Cryo Traveler, and Wriothesley) due to her Cryo RES Shred.

• Cryo: Skirk, Ayaka, Wriothesley, Sandrone, Lohen, Cryo Traveler, Odette, Ganyu, Freminet, Shenhe, Layla, Citlali, Rosaria, Kaeya, Chongyun
• Hydro: Neuvillette, Ayato, Furina, Vodyanitsa, Yelan, Xingqiu, Mona, Aino
• Other Elemental DPS: Mavuika, Arlecchino, Hu Tao, GaMing, Kinich, Chasca, Navia, Varka

Escoffier leveled to 80/90 due to her Ascension Stat (CRIT Rate %)

Notes:

• Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
• With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
• The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
• This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
• Materials for ascending the character to level 80/90 (for additional CRIT Rate) & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
• In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (418 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
• It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
