BUDGET XILONEN GUIDE
SUMMARY
Xilonen is a 5-Star Sword character that mainly functions as a Support. Her Skill can provide Elemental RES Shred, while her Burst can provide healing (depending on the Elements of her teammates).

Artifact Sets
- 4pc Scroll Set is the most ideal Support set for Xilonen.
- Alternative Support Sets include 4pc Archaic Petra or Noblesse Oblige if another teammate (with higher ER needs) has Scroll equipped.
- You can also consider a temporary 2pc Set Mix between Husk of Opulent Dreams (for extra DEF %) and Emblem of Severed Fate (for ER)
Main Stat & Substats
- Xilonen is relatively easy to build as you just need to look for the main stats listed above. Her substats, while nice to have, aren't a necessity.
- ER Sands recommended if you aren't using an ER Weapon!
WEAPON OPTIONS
- Favonius Sword - Always a great Support weapon as it can provide Energy to the wielder and the team. You should use a CRIT Rate Circlet if equipping this sword
- ER Weapons if you don't have Favonius: Sacrificial Sword, Skyward Blade, Skyrider Sword (3-Star), Fleuve Cendre Ferryman, Festering Desire, Sapwood Blade
- DEF % Weapons for more healing, if you don't need ER: Flute of Ezpitzal (Natlan Craftable), Cinnabar Spindle (limited-time Event), Traveler's Handy Sword (3-Star beginner option if you don't have any of the above)
TEAM COMPS
Support Xilonen can fit into a variety of teams such as Mono Element, Vaporize/Melt, Aggravate, Freeze, and Double Geo teams! As long as you have at least two characters of Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro on the team, her Burst will provide healing.
Typically, her teams have 1 On-Field DPS, 1 Sub-DPS, and either a second Sub-DPS or another Support character to provide more buffs (examples include: Anemo VV, Bennett, Kujou Sara, Iansan, Citlali, etc.)
Notes:
- Weapon options in my budget guides exclude weapons that are only obtainable from the limited (weapon) banner.
- With the addition of Chronicled Wish, this means some Weapon Banner exclusive weapons were added to Chronicle Wish as well, but these weapons are still considered "limited" for the purposes of these guides
- The rationale behind this is that the Chronicled Wish banner has the same duration as a normal banner and uses precious Intertwined Fates.
- This makes the Budget Guide friendlier to newer players, F2Ps, and low spenders.
- Materials for ascending the character to level 80/80 & talent levels 1 / 8 / 8
- In terms of purple XP books alone, you'd be saving 172 XP books (419 to 90/90 compared to 247 to 80/80). That's enough XP books to level up a different character to level 70! This aspect of the Budget Guides is friendly to players who may have less resources.
- It also potentially frees up resin that may be spent on leylines to farm artifacts instead
