[Version 5.7] Skirk Team Compositions

Skirk is a 5-star Cryo Sword character who blends fast-paced technical combos with tactical switching. Her entire kit orbits around the buildup and release of Serpent's Subtlety. Skirk’s playstyle is broken into two primary modes: Quick Swap, where she plays as an empowered burst DPS, and Normal Attack-focused, where she enters a hyper-offensive stance in Seven-Phase Flash mode and attacks through enemies with rapid strikes.

Unlike most Cryo units, Skirk requires consistent Freeze uptime and relies heavily on Cryo-Hydro synergy. She performs best in teams that enable Frozen, Void Rift generation, and consistent Hydro application.

How Skirk Helps:

  • Freeze Focused Combat: Skirk only functions in Freeze teams, but she excels within them - benefiting from constant Cryo/Hydro reactions that empower her passives and Void Rift generation.
  • Subtlety Management: Skirk’s personal resource, Serpent’s Subtlety, fuels her Elemental Burst and powers her damage rotation. Void Rift absorption and reaction triggers keep her momentum going.
  • Flexible Damage Modes: She can either unleash massive Cryo Burst damage in short windows or enter Seven-Phase Flash mode to deliver sustained Cryo through Normal Attacks.

Quick Swap

Skirk builds Serpent’s Subtlety, unleashes a powerful Burst, and rotates out. These teams are rotation-focused, enabling fast-paced Cryo nukes with Hydro support for Freeze. Below is an example of a Quick Swap team with Skirk as the Main DPS, Furina as the Sub DPS, and Shenhe and Escoffier as the Supports.

Normal Attack

Skirk stays on-field in Seven-Phase Flash mode, weaving Normal Attacks empowered by her Burst and Void Rift mechanics. These teams support her uptime and enable Freeze throughout her active window. Below is an example of a Normal Attack team with Skirk and Ayaka as the Main DPS', Furina as the Sub DPS, and Escoffier as the Support.
