The easiest way to get Primogems at the beginning of the game is by unlocking Teleports, Statues of the Seven, and domains, opening all the chests that you find on your way (following seelies, solving Puzzles, doing Challenges, etc...)
1.- Complete Daily, Archon, World and Legendary Quests.
2.- Unlocking the Temple and Teleport Domains, upgrade Trees (Dragonspine, Inazuma, etc...),
3.- Ascend Statues of the 7.
4.- Raise AR (at certain levels)
5.- Chests and Shrine Chests.
To open all chests: https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Chests#Current_Count
Here you will be able to find out in which areas you have unopened chests (comparing the data they give you with your Achievements), and in the section: References, there is a link to a route or tutorial for each area, which indicates all their locations.
6.- Invite a certain character to a Gift Set in the Teapot.
7.- Unlocking Tutorial entries.
8.- Solving Achievements (Search for secret / hidden Achievements). This one is complete and updated: https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Achievements
How to find out which Hidden Achievement you are missing?
Simple, compare your list of Wonders of the World Achievements in order, with the List of the link that I give you, if there is an Achievement that you do not have, first check that it is not unfinished at the top of your list, if it is not so, that Achievement is missing.
9.- Spiral of the Abyss.
10.- Solve Events.
11.- Resolving the Progress of the Adventurer's Book, complete the Relax Kettle.
12.- Solving the Battle Pass.
13.- Buying Lunar Blessings.
14.- Buying Genesisi Crystals.
15.- Registering the daily visit in Hoyolab.
16.- Hoyolab Web Events.
17.- Exchange Stardust for Fate Encounters and Intertwined Fates, in Paimon's Shop.
18.- Redeem Starshine for Fate Encounters and Intertwined Fates, in Paimon's Shop. (I don't recommend this one unless you already have all the 4* characters that lead to C6).
19.- Periodically check frozen codes for rewards (they usually carry Protogems). https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Promotional_Codes
GENSHINGIFT (this one does not expire)
They usually update it every time there is an update and be very attentive to the Livestreams of the progress of the updates (between one week and ten days before the end of the current version), since they usually give 300 Primos and the codes are only valid for 24h.
20.- Complete Challenges.
