I am here to bring you a complete breakdown of everything new in Patch 7.0. This was a huge patch. There is a brand-new region, a new Archon Quest Act I and Act II
, a whole new Shadow Realm Gun Mode, a lot of QOL changes, new TCG cards, and, of course, new Achievements. Let's get started.

7.0 Chest Guide:
In total, 7.0 has added 346 (only 345 shows in achievements) chests in Snezhnaya (not including domains). In the open world for Snezhnaya, there are 13 Seelies and 31 time trials. (This is accurate as of 8/18/2026.) I will be explaining how this works below.
Total Snezhnaya: 20 lux, 48 precious, 130* exquisite, 113 common, and 35 remarkable.
(Note: 130* Exq, there was 1 exq that was in the overworld but didn't count for achievements.)
(This does not include the new domains.)
7.0 Domain Chests
In version 7.0, there were 2 one-time domains added. The Archon Quest Act I have 2 commons and 1 precious in the first domain and 1 commons and 3 exq in the 2nd domain during Act II. There are also 120 Mora Chests and 2 Wooden Boxes added in the new region. (All of these count toward exploration %.)
The first Archon Quest domain is straightforward. They are all on the path with the tracker icon.

7.0 Cryo Sigil Count:
Total: Cryo Sigil Left Over: 153
(These Cryo sigils are found in chests, Meeting Point rewards, and statues of the 7 rewards.)
We have earned a total of 753 Cryo sigils so far. There were 616 from overworld chests, 35 from the Statue of the 7, 90 that were rewards from Meeting Points for finishing world quests, and 12 from Domains. To get to Max level in each of the 3 Meeting Points requires 600, and you are left with 153 sigils.
7.0 Exploration Stuff
The patch also added Radiant Spin Crystals 189-200.
The total number of Cryoculi is 140. This is enough to get to Level 6: Statue of the Seven, with 15 left over.
The total amount of world exploration that is possible is 54%.

7.0 Maximum Chest Count
Prior to patch 7.0, the maximum chest count was:

I am missing 6 exq and 12 common from old story quest domains that we cannot go back to. Please write in feedback to let us revisit old domains.

7.0 New Achievements
I have earned a total of 83 new achievements since the 7.0 update.
The current maximum number of achievements is 1844. There are a couple of achievements that are not yet possible, such as reaching lvl 10 State of the 7, obtaining all the Lunar Arcanum, leveling Shadow Realm Analysis Level, etc. There are no new daily commission achievements in the Snezhnaya region. The highest possible right now as of 8/19/2025 is 1840.
7.0 Viewpoints:
There are a total of 16 new Snezhnaya viewpoints.
7.0 Serenitea Pot:
In Version 7.0 of the Tea Pot, there is 3 new teapot plant.
There were 35 remarkable chests added in this version, which means 35 new blueprints. There is also 1 blueprint at the Snezhnaya Fishing Association. Make sure to collect them all!
The battle pass teapot item this time is a music box. It will open up and start dancing and has its own music. It pairs really well with Odette's Meeting Place music box. Do note that Coop cannot interact with it.
7.0 Books:
In Version 7.0 there are 2 new book series. The total number of Archive Entries unlocked is 267.
You can purchase the books at Moes Owner of "Torchlight Books."
For Polestar Ballet Anthology Vol 1, you will need to complete Odette's Meeting Place quest and unlock the Black Swan.
7.0 New Food Recipes:
There are 10 new food recipes currently available.
New Recipes:
○ Exploration or Quest Rewards: "Glupov Rye Bread," "Stroganina," "Rimecurrant Ice Creams," "Snowball Blooms Atop Snowfields," and "Snowrealm Okroshkas."
○ From Snezhnaya NPC Buturlina: "Podvorye Smoked Sausage," "Borscht," and "Medovik."
○ From Snezhnaya NPC Tolstaya: "Zharkoye" and "Snezhnaya Shashliks."
There are also 3 new drinks, Kvass, Spiced Honey Brew, and Glascial Starbrew. These do not have recipes but will count toward your archives. They are sold by Zyryanov.
Zyryanov will also provide 1 free special ice cream if you own Odette or Alyosha.
New Character Specialty Dishes:
Odette's specialty: Lakeside Snow Swan
Alyosha's specialty: The Bullseye Roast
This brings the total recipe count to 279 (this number includes collab recipes).
7.0 Capturable Wildlife:
A total of 7 new wildlife species are able to be captured in Snezhnaya.
There are 7 new fishing locations and 6 new Snezhnaya fish.
7.0 Tutorials Count:
This makes the total tutorial count 741.
7.0 My Favorite New TCG Deck:
A fun TCG deck featuring some of the new TCG character cards from the new patch. Jahoda and the new Witch cards are really strong.

Common questions:
How long did you play?
I started my session on Patch Day, the Archon quests took about 4 hours for Act I and about 7 hours for Act 2. Exploration of Snezhnaya took about 8 hours. World Quests and other smaller quests took about 3 hours.
How come you have 31 more lux chests than the max?
Back when the max chest count for lux was 69. We got a patch that introduced us to Bennet Hangout. For about 4 to 5 days, doing the hangout will lead to an extra lux chest count. This was patched after 5 days. I did not like my ugly number of 71, so I made it an even 100.
How many Primogems can we expect to get if we finish everything in Snezhnaya?
I was able to earn close to 8000 Primogems from completing everything 7.0 has to offer up to 8/19/2026.
(Keep in mind this includes Daily Activity and Abyss.)
Are there any Co-op Chests in the new region?
No, there were no new Co-op Chests in the new region.
Are there new Wood types in Snezhnaya?
There are 4 new Woods in Snezhnaya. White Birch Wood, Snow Poplar Wood, Larch Wood, and Bluebeech Wood.
What do I do with these intricately patterned buttons?
You can head over to the Jack Frost Village and exchange the buttons with the chief. There are a total of 140 buttons to collect. If you purchase all the limited items (not the unlimited mora), you should have 11 leftover.
How many Shadow Wingdrop are there?
There are a total of 58 Shadow Wingdrops to collect. After you submit and level up the Analyzer to level 5, you should have 6 left over.
Why is my Rattle-Bell Finchball: Rusalka locked in the shop?
You need to play Finchball with the NPC Mayskaya every daily reset for 3 days to unlock it from the shop.
How do I remove these Ice Constructs from other players?
Anything interesting at the Korolevskiy Theater?
Talk to the NPC Ksenia every Daily Reset to buy a ticket to the show.
You can even find Vesna and other Character in the audience.
Are there collaborations going on?

I have noticed a 518 Primogem Top-Up bonus in my Hoyolab. What is it?
In this version, Hoyoverse has a promotion on their top-off website!!! They are offering 5 coupons where you get 8% primogems of whatever top-off you choose. For example, if you purchase the 99.99 dollar pack, you will get 518 extra primogems.

In Version 7.0 we have 3 new TCG character cards. They are Durin, Jahoda, and Hydro Hypostasis.

Are there any QOL changes in 7.0?
Yes, as of version 7.0. We have a new series of Emote to use in chat.
We can now strongbox: Night of the Sky's Unveiling and Silken Moon's Serenade.
Increases the combined Inventory capacity for Character Development Items, Food, Materials, Gadgets, Quest Items, and Precious Items from 2,300 to 2,600.
Increases the maximum number of Artifacts that can be stored in the Inventory from 2,400 to 2,700.
