Hello Everyone mineciel here! Version 7.0 introduces Flins is a ★5 Electro Polearm Main DPS who commands the battlefield with his unique Lunar-Charged mechanic. With a burst-centric kit that transforms his abilities into powerful AoE attacks—further enhanced by Thunderclouds—he shines as a core DPS in Electro + Hydro teams, delivering consistent reactions

Quick Question

- Is Flins a great fit for the Stellar Conduct team?
No, Flins is not particularly suitable for Stellar-Conduct teams. This is because his Moonsign Benediction: Old World Secrets talent states that: When a party member triggers an Electro-Charged reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Charged reaction, with every 100 ATK that Flins has increasing Lunar-Charged's Base DMG by 0.7%, up to a maximum of 14%. Flins is specifically designed to support Lunar-Charged teams and does not currently provide any direct support for Stellar-Conduct teams. Therefore, for now, Flins is better suited to Lunar-Charged-focused compositions rather than the Stellar-Conduct.
-Can Flins serve as the main DPS in a team with Alyosha + Ineffa + Aino/Columbina while fully utilizing their strengths?
Because Flins does not directly support Stellar-Conduct, some of Alyosha’s passive talent effects become less optimal when Flins is the team’s core. However, if the goal is to maximize Alyosha, Flins is also not an ideal choice because he does not help trigger or enhance Stellar-Conduct. That said, Alyosha can still be played in the same team as Flins, primarily as an off-field Electro applicator and healer.
As for Ineffa, Aino, and Columbina, they have strong synergy with Flins because these characters can take advantage of the Lunar-Charged reaction and help maintain consistent DMG output for Flins.
-Are there any requirements for playing a Flins team while still maintaining flexibility within the Snezhnaya region?
The requirements remain the same: you still need to bring at least one additional Nod-Krai character to reach Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam, along with one off-field Hydro sub-DPS to consistently enable Lunar-Charged reactions.
For example:
- Flins + Ineffa + Aino + Xilonen
- Flins + Ororon + Aino + Columbina
- Flins+ Fischl+ Aino+ sucrose
This setup allows Flins to maintain access to Ascendant Gleam while having enough Hydro and Electro application to consistently trigger Lunar-Charged.
If you already have Flins C0 and want to get C1, which would be better: C1 Flins or his signature weapon?
From a gameplay perspective, would it be better to prioritize Flins C1 and pair him with Ineffa and Columbina, since this setup should already provide enough DMG, especially because Flins C1 gives him a shorter Skill cooldown along with additional Energy recovery when triggering Lunar-Charged reactions

Let’s break down about mechanic, his talents, constellations and Game Party!

=Tell about Flins?=
When I first met Mr. Flins, I assumed that the reason he lived alone was either because he didn't like being around people, or that he was just a little... eccentric. Turns out that the complete opposite is true — well, at least in terms of his social appetite. Only thing is, every time we talk, he always seems to end his stories on a cliffhanger... Sometimes, I wonder if that's his way of making sure I'll come back to hear the rest.
You're saying there's a lot more to Mr. Flins than meets the eye? Hah... Well, that's hardly unusual for a Ratnik. We're all from different walks of life, so who doesn't have a few things they'd rather keep to themselves? Even my old pops rarely talks about his past. As for Mr. Flins... well, I've certainly got to know him a lot better, and after everything that's been going on lately, I've got a rough idea of what he might be hiding. I actually asked about it once, but he neither confirmed nor denied my suspicions. In a way, I guess that's an answer in itself.
-Iluga![]()
Flins... Insufficient data. According to the little information I have, he is a member of the Lightkeepers who watch over the cemetery in the north of Nod-Krai.
-Ineffa![]()
He comes across as very polite and courteous, but for some reason the animals seem to fear him... I will keep my guard up around him — but since I barely know him and have no evidence of wrongdoing, I will also reserve judgment. Whenever he passes by the Frostmoon Enclave, I will share some of the daily harvest with him.
...What? His name's too long, but otherwise he's fine..? Uh... Are you sure?
-Lauma![]()
It is often said that politeness is the most effective means of keeping strangers at bay. I guess that makes Mr. Flins a master of the art of social distancing. He wears his etiquette like a suit of shining armor — impeccable, impenetrable, hiding whatever lies beneath. Don't get me wrong, I pride myself on being a tactful friend, and I know how to smile and play along. But whether Mr. Flins is a Lightkeeper or a fae, from Nod-Krai or Snezhnaya, it makes no difference to me. First and foremost, we are friends, and the foundation of friendship... is trust.

=Character Role and Core Mechanics=
Flins is a 5-star character with an electro vision. He plays the role of DPS and has extraordinary talent. Flins’s current role is sustained on-field Electro application. Flins is an Electro Main DPS burst-focused character with a kit that revolves around transforming into Manifest Flame Form, spamming Northland Spearstorm, and maximizing Thunderous Symphony Burst. Flins has the unique “Lunar-Charged” mechanic that replaces Electro-Charged, making him especially powerful in Hydro + Electro–based teams.
His core mechanics are as follows:
Lunar-Charged

When Electro meets Hydro, and certain other conditions are met, a special Lunar-Charged reaction occurs, and a thundercloud forms. This thundercloud will continuously release bursts of lightning at nearby targets who are affected by both Electro and Hydro, dealing Electro DMG. This DMG can trigger CRIT Hits, and the DMG dealt is based on all characters who have applied elements during the reaction.
Lunar-Charged is the evolution of Electro-Charged, offering a more complex yet far stronger mechanism. With the ability to CRIT, scale from the contributions of all characters, and unleash AoE DMG through Thunderclouds, this reaction is far more effective in teams built to maximize Electro + Hydro. While standard Electro-Charged works well as supplemental damage, Lunar-Charged is designed as a core source of damage—especially when used by characters like Flins.
simple = Lunar-Charged: An Electro + Hydro reaction that summons a Thundercloud, releasing Electro DMG that can CRIT and scales based on all characters who applied the elements.
Thunderous Symphony

Consume less Elemental Energy to unleash a special Elemental Burst. Flins deals a single instance of AoE Electro DMG. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG. Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: If there are thunderclouds nearby, Flins will deal 1 additional instance of AoE Electro DMG. This DMG is considered Lunar-Charged DMG.
Manifest Flame form

Flins summons forth the ancient power concealed within his lamp and switches to his Manifest Flame form. This form has the following characteristics: Flins's Normal and Charged Attacks deal Electro DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental infusions, and he is unable to perform Plunging Attacks.
- His interruption resistance is increased.
- His Elemental Skill Ancient Rite:
Arcane Light is replaced with the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm.
simple = Flins unleashes his lamp’s power, turning Normal & Charged Attacks into Electro DMG (cannot be overridden), disabling Plunging Attacks, gaining increased interruption resistance, and replacing his Skill with Northland Spearstorm.
Northland Spearstorm
Flins summons a flurry of spears in front, dealing AoE Electro DMG and causing his Elemental Burst Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night to be replaced with the special Elemental Burst Thunderous Symphony for the next 6s. The base CD of Northland Spearstorm is 6s and will not be affected by other effects.
Moonsign Level

The party’s Moonsign Level will vary depending on the number of Moonsign characters in the party:
- Including one Moonsign character will grant the effect “Nascent Gleam.”
- Including two Moonsign characters will grant the effect “Ascendant Gleam.”
Moonsign characters gain enhancements on some of their skills and talent effects when in the Nascent Gleam or Ascendant Gleam state.

=Talent Analysis=
Talent Leveling Priority: Elemental Burst >Elemental Skill>Normal Attack

1. Normal Attack (A)
Flins's Normal Attack can be considered a rotation filler, mainly used to finish the rotation while waiting for his team's abilities to come off cooldown.Flins's Normal Attack should be the last talent to prioritize upgrading because his main source of damage comes from his Elemental Skill, Burst, and Lunar-Charged reactions, rather than his Normal Attacks.

Normal Attack
Performs up to 5 consecutive spear strikes.
Charged Attack
Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to perform a forward spear throw.
Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Skill Analysis:
Normal Attack → Strike with a spear up to 5 times in a row.
Charged Attack → Throw the spear forward using Stamina.
Plunging Attack → Jump down from the air, hitting enemies on the way and dealing AoE DMG when landing.
2. Elemental Skill (E)
Flins's Elemental Skill should be prioritized second for upgrade talent because it is one of his main sources of damage. It transforms him into Manifest Flame Form, converting his Normal and Charged Attacks into Electro DMG, increasing his interruption resistance, and replacing his Skill and Burst with special abilities that deal AoE Electro DMG and continue his rotation.

Flins summons forth the ancient power concealed within his lamp and switches to his Manifest Flame form. This form has the following characteristics:
· Flins's Normal and Charged Attacks deal Electro DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental infusions, and he is unable to perform Plunging Attacks.
· His interruption resistance is increased.

- Replaces Elemental Burst (Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night) with Thunderous Symphony for 6s.
- Has a fixed 6s cooldown, unaffected by other effects.
3. Elemental Burst (Q)
Flins's Elemental Burst should be prioritized first because it is one of his main sources of Lunar-Charged DMG, dealing AoE Electro DMG and gaining additional attacks when Ascendant Gleam is active. After using Northland Spearstorm, his Burst is replaced with Thunderous Symphony, which requires less Energy and still deals Lunar-Charged DMG.

Flins unleashes the true power of his lamp, dealing AoE Electro DMG and, after a short delay, dealing 2 instances of middle-phase and 1 instance of final-phase AoE Electro DMG, all of which are considered Lunar-Charged DMG.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Flins's Skill is enhanced: If there are thunderclouds nearby, Flins will deal an additional 2 instances of middle-phase Lunar-Charged AoE Electro DMG.
After using the special Elemental Skill Northland Spearstorm, Flins's Elemental Burst Ancient Ritual: Cometh the Night will be replaced with the special Elemental Burst Thunderous Symphony for the next 6s.
Thunderous Symphony
Consume less Elemental Energy to unleash a special Elemental Burst. Flins deals a single instance of AoE Electro DMG that is considered Lunar-Charged DMG.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Flins's Skill is enhanced: If there are thunderclouds nearby, Flins will deal an additional instance of Lunar-Charged AoE Electro DMG.
"Night falls, and the Ratniki give their salutations. It seems this night will be a long one."
Skill Analysis:
Main Skill (Lamp Power)
- Flins unleashes AoE Electro DMG.
- After a short delay → deals 2 instances of middle-phase + 1 instance of final-phase AoE Electro DMG.
- All instances are considered Lunar-Charged DMG.

- Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Nearby party members’ Lunar-Charged DMG increased by 10%.
How many constellations are recommended for F2P users?
C0 is already good enough for Flins’s kit that maximizes his Thunderous Symphony Burst, but for greater performance and faster cooldown Elemental Energy for his Burst, consider investing in C1.

How to Build Stats?

Flins damage scales with ATK, so focus on increasing ATK and Double Crit stat. Flins preferred artifact set Night of the sky's unveiling provides a constant increase EM, so maintaining trigger Lunar Reactions (nearby + on-field) → activating Gleaming Moon: Intent (4s), along with several other effects such as: when the party has Nascent Gleam → CRIT Rate +15%, and when the party has Ascendant Gleam → CRIT Rate +30%. Another effect is that all party members gain +10% Lunar Reaction DMG for each different Gleaming Moon effect present in the party. Gleaming Moon effects cannot stack.
Recommended Stats: ATK ≥ 2000, ER 130-150%, then CR=55% and CDM= 180%, EM= 500~.

Conclusion
👉Flins should first prioritize raising ATK because to maximize passive talent, then focus to increase DMG with double stat Crit in artifact
👉 After that, focus on Energy Recharge so he can use Elemental Burst more frequently.
How is the DMG?
Based on the above stats, when paired with him signature weapon, Bloodsoaked Ruins R1 LV.90, and the 4-piece Night of the sky's unveiling set, Flins C0 with 1 enemy and no team:
●Lv. 8 Normal Attack DMG with 5 attack = 2834~
● Lv. 8 Elemental Skill DMG: 23k~
● Lv.9 Elemental Burst: 90k~
Main combo: E Q then E Q NA EQ
Activate Elemental Skill→ Special Elemental Skill again → Special Elemental Burst → Normal Attacks → Elemental Skill → Special Elemental Burst

=Pro and Cons=
✅ Pros:
- Manifest Flame Form makes Normal & Charged Attacks automatically deal Electro DMG, allowing consistent damage spam.
- It features the unique Lunar-Charged mechanic, which is stronger than regular Electro-Charged.
- Best suited for Hydro + Electro teams, especially with ineffa and aino
- The passive skills Moonsign Benediction and Whispering Flame make high ATK very valuable, as it is converted into Elemental Mastery (synergy with reactions).
❌ Cons:
- Cannot perform Plunging Attacks while in Manifest Flame Form.
- Highly reliant on his Burst for main damage, thus requiring sufficient Energy Recharge.

=Best Team=

=Game Play=
Flins+Ineffa+Iansan+Furina

- Ineffa as Sub DPS consistent Electro application, and trigger the lunar charged reaction
- Furina as support and buff, Furina is the ideal candidate to create the Lunar-Charged reaction with Ineffa and Flins because of her excellent personal DMG, party-wide damage buffs, and constant Hydro Application.
- Iansan as support ATK buff, dealing Nightsoul-aligned Electro DMG ,greatly increasing her Movement SPD temporarily
- Flins as DPS consistent Electro application
- combo: Furina EQ Iansan Q E NA CAto plunge ineffa EQ Flins E Q then E Q NA EQ
Furina+Ineffa+ Flins+ Aino

- Ineffa as Sub DPS consistent Electro application, and trigger the lunar charged reaction
- Aino as support off-field Hydro application with low Energy cost and long Burst duration
- Flins as onfield DPS Electro application and Lunar-charged DMG reaction
- Furina as support and buffer hydro dmg application
- Combo: Furina EQ Ineffa EQ Aino QE Flins E Q then E Q NA EQ
Xingqiu+ Sucrose+Ororon+Flins

- xingqiu as support heal and hydro dmg application
- ororon as sub dps electro, electro dmg application, Ororon's kit requiring Electro-Charge to charge his Nightsoul Points
- Flins as onfield DPS Electro application and Lunar-charged DMG reaction
- Sucrose provide swirl anemo dmg
- Combo: Xingqiu EQ+ sucrose E Q + Ororon EQ + Flins E Q then E Q NA EQ

=Conclusion=
Flins is the primary Electro DPS with a strong focus on Electro DMG and unique Lunar-Charged mechanics, making him excel in Hydro + Electro teams. His abilities center around Manifest Flame Form to deliver consistent Electro attacks, then using Northland Spearstorm to unleash Thunderous Symphony Burst as his primary source of damage. At C0 level, Flins is already solid with a good kit, but at C1 level he becomes the most F2P-friendly option, offering shorter cooldowns and additional Elemental Energy. For weapons, his signature weapon, Bloodsoaked Ruins, is the best choice to maximize his Burst potential, but alternative options like Prospector's Shovel, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi, and Deathmatch
still work well, making his weapon flexibility quite accommodating for different players. once again flins need team 2 electro and 1 hydro, so flins need ineffa if you have not ineffa you can replace ororon for meanwhile.
