I still miss it

This part was the only Domain in this Act but it's hardly the important stuff for this quest.

Still there's a few things to mention. For one I still don't understand why they made the MC behave like that the whole act. We literally started Windblume asking for more tedious Adventurer's Guild commissions. The Travelers seem to be fine with helping people so it was so weird to see him this unsympathetic to the Vision Hunt Decree until Ayaka had us go around and watch the suffering happen first hand.

The next weird part about this section was Komore Teahouse. I get that it's a Yashiro Commission location so the Kamisatos should have control over who gets in but we were at her house. You'd think her house would be much more private and secure. All the people around are her servants and she could order them to stand guard outside like Thoma ended up doing at the teahouse. And the thing is we know for a fact that the Yashiro Commission isn't without its own internal politics so just because the teahouse was a Yashiro Commission location doesn't make it any more secure than a fully public location. Other clans in the commission also have a right to enter and exit whenever they want. The Kamisatos were actually losing ground until Ayato finally took over so it is more than likely the more influential clans who were losing their power base after Ayato rose to power would try to sabotage their operations making the teahouse hardly secure at all.

We recently heard from Zhiqiong what some people think about Visions. There is a hefty amount of jealousy because of the small amount of people who can get them. Zhiqiong herself intends to make a mark on history as a normal human because she feels they would be forgotten over the more substantial successes of the allogenes.

In Inazuma thanks to the Vision Hunt Decree it almost feels like discrimination against a minority. (or the X-men) And that hits home just a little too uncomfortably. It is the year 2022 after all. We only just suffered through another wave of anti-Asian behavior worldwide and it hasn't even really ended yet. Not to mention at the same time we had the #BLM movement.

I had previously talked about this portrayal of humans vs allogenes and it made me very uneasy. In my version I wasn't even focused on this discrimination against a marginalized community. The allogenes we've met so far had been in positions of power after all. Unlike in the post Inazuma game we hadn't really seen allogenes that were NPCs yet. For me it was more about how sometimes our best and brightest, the overachievers are sometimes hated because their hard work and efforts "make the rest of us look bad." But while in our world sometimes the people who get into places of power didn't earn it in Genshin you absolutely had to earn your Vision. I even said that based on Zhiqiong's tireless efforts she should eventually qualify for a Hydro Vision similar to Domon from the previous part of this Archon Quest. But based on this depiction of what people think of the allogenes it might even be important for Zhiqiong not to get a Vision so that it shows that they aren't being overlooked and that Vision or not all humans should be working together. I guess we'll see what MiHoYo's message is on this subject.

You know originally my theory believed that Ayaka was going to be a secret benefactor for the resistance. But in the end she didn't really participate and it was more about Yae's role in the overall plot. So the stuff she's saying here also feels like a plothole. And so recently MiHoYo released the Ayato teaser which showed that he was actually actively supporting the resistance. In fact he's the one that got the resistance to Tenshukaku from Nazuchi Beach.

And that's where I call BS. In my theory I pointed out how that's a major plothole for Act 3. We learned that after the Delusion stuff Kokomi's forces were in a dire position. So many of her forces had used the Delusions and were out of the fight. Even with the additional reinforcements from the Fatui the resistance was barely able to push back against the Tenryou all the way out in Nazuchi Beach. I don't care how good the Shuumatsuban are there is no way they would have snuck that many people especially General Gorou and Kazuha from Nazuchi Beach all the way deep into Inazuma City to reach Tenshukaku. Unless they knew how to use the Waypoints or something there's no way they got through. Even if you could say the Shuumatsuban were sneaky enough to get through the Tenryou controlled territories none of the resistance have Shuumatsuban ninja training so they'd still have to sneak through like normal unskilled people and that wouldn't be possible. It's great that MiHoYo was trying to fix the plothole that happened thanks to the changes made to the story but it takes more than just saying "the ninjas did it."

Finally the Domain itself man. All those twists and turns and of course the look itself. I can't help but remember Labyrinth Warriors.

Back when that event was going away I made a topic about why it should have stayed. And I still stand by it.

Imagine if instead of the Daily Commissions (where the ones we actually want for Achievements we never get and we've gotten Pudgy Pyrotechnicians dozens of times already ) we had the Labyrinth Warriors Domain to earn our 60 primogems? They could even time it so that it lasts as long as the average player takes to do 4 commissions.

Then on top of that they could set difficulties for better rewards. For example there could be a "challenge mode" difficulty for the hardcore players where the battles are about as hard as the Spiral Abyss but you can farm for stuff like the Dust of Azoth. And rewards could scale like that for these different tiers of difficulty with normal Daily Commission rewards applying to the easiest difficulty for players that just want the primogems.

This is a two for one deal then because you'd satisfy the casuals who get to do something else besides the same old dailies every time and they can get their primogems from a single task. Meanwhile not only do the hardcore players get a new challenge but content creators who have been consistently complaining about not enough content will have something new to show off in their videos.

And finally without the need for Daily Commissions to keep players logging back in the feature could be set up where we can choose which ones we want to do. That way we can finally get those Achievements done without wondering when we'll be lucky enough to get the commissions. Since Sumeru is coming soon that's 4 regions worth of stuff so it's probably about time we wrap some of them up.

What do you guys think? And also what are your opinions on the stuff I mentioned above too?
