Welcome to my guide on the new battlesuit Disciplinary Perdition, also known as Aponia. This focuses mainly on her performance in the Elysian Realm and so may not apply to other game modes. I'll recommend signets for her, as well as a playstyle, support valkyries and sigils.

Gear:

There aren't that many weapon options yet, but obviously her signature weapon/PRI [Lost Conviction] are best. They buff the two moves that the build relies on most, the Ult and Predictor's Sentence. Aside from that, the craftable Gilded Librae gives 50% Ele DMG while Felis' weapon/PRI gives Total DMG.

For stigmata, Aponia's signature set is Zeno, but other lightning stigmata can also be used, like Monet T/Ishikawa MB or the new craftable set, Handel. Even sets like Linnaeus can be used, because of the adjustment in the realm that allows Aponia to take advantage of summon DMG.

Buffs to look out for are Ult DMG, things triggered by weapon skills, summon DMG, and maybe Combo ATK DMG (unsure if Predictor's Sentence counts as Combo after [Blessing of Shelter] is taken).

Basic Summary

Disciplinary Perdition is a BIO-type lightning damage dealer, whose main damage comes from Predictor's Sentence. In the Realm, she can summon an illusion to help her attack and restore Redemption. She is a ranged attacker with a very large AoE, and thus does not need any sort of gather to help her.

Move names:

Conviction form -- Triggered by casting the weapon active. In the Elysian Realm, summons an illusion to cast it instead.

Redemption -- Bar is filled while in Conviction form, can be used to enter Predictor's Sentence when full (max 200)

Predictor's Sentence form -- Can be entered at full Redemption, during the duration, casts Thunderstorms, and finishes off with Inhibitor's Adjudication

Special Adjustments

Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.

Disciplinary Perdition's Special Adjustments are:

- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent

This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.

- When in Conviction form, Aponia will call in an illusory Summoned Entity to pray on her behalf.

- 200% bonus lightning DMG will be dealt during basic attacks to all enemies on the field while restoring 25 Redemption (CD 0.5s)

- When Redemption reaches 100/180 or QTE is ready, using Weapon Active will cause the illusion to use QTE, dealing 1200% lightning DMG and restoring 600 HP.

- Only one illusion can be in play at a time and disappears when in Predictor's Sentence form.

These adjustments completely change Aponia's playstyle in the realm compared to other game modes. Instead of being basically immobile while casting the weapon skill, she now has a summon that can take advantage of Mobius signets. She can also cast the QTE on command, one of only 4 who can currently do this. Aponia's signets have recently been changed and now include one that is activated by QTEs, allowing her to use this.

- Move speed increases by 30% and evasion skill becomes available in Predictor's Sentence form.

This makes dodging a bit easier, while most enemies can't hit you in the air, some can, like bosses.

- Can choose 2 Elysia signets at the start of the run

Same as all the other Flame-Chasers, very helpful

Exclusive Signets

Aponia's exclusive signets are focused around her illusion, as well as Predictor's Sentence, with a few signets also buffing the Ult.

Blessing of Admonition

Blessing of Atonement

Upgrade bonus: Illusion deals 320% > 385% lightning DMG per second; Illusion has +80% > +100% Total DMG and restores 10 SP > 12 SP after leaving Predictor's Sentence

Blessing of Shelter

Upgrade bonus: Total DMG dealt by Thunderstorms and Inhibitor's Adjudication increases by 60% > 70%

Blessing of Inclusiveness

Upgrade bonus: Reduces Ult CD by 5s > 6s when illusion uses QTE; Increases Ult Total DMG by 50% > 60%

Blessing of Rescue

Upgrade bonus: Evasion skill DMG +100% > +120%; Lightning DMG +60% > +70%

Recommended Signets

(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)

- Exclusive Signets -

Most important:

Blessing of Shelter AND Blessing of Inclusiveness

[Blessing of Shelter] turns Predictor's Sentence attacks into Ult damage, which both allows Kevin's second core to be used, as well as get it any buffs that normally apply to Ults. It additionally doubles the duration of Predictor's Sentence, leaving much less downtime. Since Predictor's Sentence is Aponia's main damage source, [Shelter] is super important in buffing it.

The main benefit of [Blessing of Inclusiveness] is that using the Ult restores Redemption. Combined with high SP regen, the CD reduction from the signet, and the longer duration of Predictor's Sentence from [Shelter], you can just about get a non-stop cycle between Predictor's Sentence and Ults. Another benefit of this signet is the increased Ult DMG.

Second choice:

Blessing of Atonement

[Blessing of Atonement] is highly recommended as it further buffs Predictor's Sentence and opens up Mobius' signets for use.

With the new separation of General and Support sigils, you can now bring Elysia's [Because of You] for a guaranteed Elysia signet, 2 if you get the double reward. This is highly recommended as this signet is very useful.

Last choice:

Blessing of Admonition > Blessing of Rescue

[Blessing of Admonition] buffs Predictor's Sentence DMG, but not much else, other Flame-Chasers are preferred over this.

[Blessing of Rescue] also doesn't do much, just a few general damage buffs and some additional paralyze trauma.

- Flame Chaser Signets -

Kevin (2nd Core)

With [Blessing of Shelter] active, triggering Kevin's 2nd core becomes a lot easier. One cycle of Predictor's Sequence + Ult is enough to reach the 50 hits needed. Since [Blessing of Inclusiveness] fills Redemption to full, if you have either LE support or Eden's signet giving an extra 30 SP at the start, you can open with an Ult to fill Redemption, into Predictor's Sequence.

The best ones to aim for are Ele Breach > SP regen > Total DMG > Ele DMG, and for enhanced go for the one that boosts the normal signet buffs.

Eden (1st Core)

With Kevin's SP regen signet permanently active, Eden's 1st core becomes much easier to trigger. Eden can also provide some more SP regen if needed, or some starting SP to get the build started quickly. The enhanced signets aren't important here. You can also go for the 2nd core if you prefer it, you have just barely enough time to get 2 Ults in before the effect wears off, but the 1st core is more reliable.

Griseo

Aponia frequently uses weapon skills, Ults and evasion skills, the three things needed to trigger Griseo's buffs. The best combination of paints is [Yellow] and [Red], and for supporting paints, [Black] is best, [White] if you need more SP. The enhanced signet for the Yellow/Red combination is also good.

Other

Other good options include:

Hua (2nd Core) or Kalpas (2nd Core)

Popular options, good general damage buffs. Aponia doesn't get hit super often when in the air, so they're both good choices.

Mobius (2nd Core or No Core)

Aponia has long-lasting summons but doesn't summon frequently, making the 2nd core better. You don't even have to go for the core, the best one is the Summon DMG buff. (Only if you have [Blessing of Atonement], otherwise the illusion disappears when using Predictor's Sequence)

Aponia

Aponia's signets have recently changed, combining the old [Fifth] and [Sixth] signets, and adding a NEW [Sixth], which prevents you from losing Exhortation when you use a QTE. In addition to the enhanced signet that boosts Ult DMG, this set can be pretty good for Aponia.

Su (2nd Core)

Aponia hits pretty frequently, so Su's signets can be good. The offensive ones are top priority, with the SP regen also being useful for triggering Eden's core. At least one of the combo hit buffs is probably necessary to get the most out of the set.

Vill-V

Could be useful with the frequent weapon skills and ranged damage, but core/enhanced are unnecessary since they do physical DMG. Conviction form attacks also don't seem to count as weapon skill damage.

- Playstyle -

If you have LE support or Eden's signet that gives starting SP, you can open with an Ult to fully restore Redemption.

Enter Predictor's Sequence, and once it ends cast weapon skills for the illusion/QTE hits and CD reduction

Once you have Kevin's core you can get SP fast to use another Ult to repeat the cycle

Before that, you might have to use normal attacks and LE support for a while before getting enough SP.

- Support Valkyries -

Start with LE for SP and Haxxor/AE for a buff

Once you have good SP regen, you can use any 2 of AE, Blood Rose or Haxxor

- Remembrance Sigils -

With the split between General and Support sigils, you now have 2 to bring in with you

For General:

Start with Kevin's [Burden] and switch to the ones that increase odds of whichever Flame-Chaser you're looking for. At the end, you can switch to [Tin Flask]/[MOTH Insignia] for DMG reduction.

For Support:

Start with Elysia's [Because of You] for a guaranteed Elysia signet. If you get one before needing to use the ability, you can switch it out since only one of them is super worth getting. After that, Eden's [Dreamful Gold] or Kevin's [It Will Be Written] are good.

I really like how they changed Aponia's skills for the Realm, it means we finally get another character with summons. I also like how they split the Remembrance sigils, but it also means I'm really running out of space on my template. :/ They also changed Aponia's signets AND added a final shop at the end?? Wow lots of stuff happening this update

Anyways I'll be back sometime next week for Eden, if there are any other requests please let me know and good luck for all you gachas <3
