Elysian Realm Guide - Argent Knight: Artemis
Hello and welcome to my Elysian Realm guide on Argent Knight: Artemis, also known as AKA. I'll be going over suggested signets, sigils, support valkyries and playstyle. This guide focuses on the Elysian Realm, so it may not apply to other game modes.
Gear:
For weapons, Skadi can help a lot with SP regen, and the PRI can open up Vill-V signets as an option. Otherwise, Sanguine Gaze and its PRI have good Ice damage buffs. The FTP option (Onyx Iron) isn't amazing, because it's Physical damage, but it also has some Total DMG buffs and HP bonuses that work with [Blessing of Frost Scythe].
The craftable Ana Shariac set is the best stigmata, but there's also the story set, Rasputin set, Scott, or Robert Peary.

Basic Summary
Argent Knight: Artemis is a BIO-type ice damage dealer with a burst mode, allowing for good use of Kevin's signets. She can also summon Crescent Harvest, which allows for the use of Mobius signets.
Moves:
Crescent Harvest -- Summoned by AKA on the 5th seq of basic attacks, or 2nd/4th seq in Burst mode. Summoned every 6s when attacking in normal mode to stack Hypothermia. Charged attack in burst mode summons Crescent Harvest. Counts as a summon for Mobius' signets.
Hypothermia -- Inflicted by Crescent Harvest, max stacks 2, can be consumed on a charge attack to inflict Ice Cell.
Ice Cell -- Deals high damage and immobilizes enemies in ice. Enemies in ice take more damage.
Special Adjustments
Every character has certain special adjustments in Elysian Realm to make it both easier for newer players to use them and to allow them to fight solo in the realm.
Argent Knight's Special Adjustments are:
- Valkyrie stats and skill level are adjusted to Lv. 80 equivalent
This is the same for all Elysian Realm valkyries, to put them on a level playing field.
Exclusive Signets
Argent Knight's exclusive signets are mainly focused around her Ice Cell/Hypothermia, with some burst mode buffs.
Blessing of Frost Scythe

Recommended Signets
(These recommendations are just what I personally found fun, feel free to experiment and put your own recommendations in the comments below!)
- Exclusive Signets -
Most important:
Blessing of Frost Scythe
It's good to start with [Frost Scythe] as it deals high damage and has a gather effect. The long cooldown means that it gets less useful over time as enemies get stronger, but it helps a lot early on to get bonus signets, before you get other Elysia signets to help. Even late game, the gather is especially helpful, and it still does good damage. The only issue is the lack of a cooldown timer, so try to pay attention to the time in between throws yourself.
Second choice:
Blessing of Winter Harvest > Blessing of Cold Moon
Since a lot of AKA's damage comes from Ice Cell, it's good to have [Winter Harvest], to help trigger Ice Cell more often. The upgrade bonus is also good for some bonus damage.
[Winter Harvest] also helps trigger [Cold Moon] more easily, the next best signet to take. Though [Cold Moon] does less than [Stellar Trails], it doesn't need burst mode to activate, and doesn't require multiple enemies to do damage. It's thus more reliable, and more helpful for bosses.
Last choice:
Blessing of Stellar Trails > Blessing of Uranian Mirror
[Stellar Trails] is very similar to [Cold Moon], doing more damage but requiring burst mode. While the burst mode requirement isn't that difficult, the Frost Rings from [Stellar Trails] circle the enemy instead of the Valkyrie, requiring at least 2 to do damage. Thus, it's better when there are multiple enemies. It is still very good and definitely recommended though, especially for the bonus signet floors, so take it if you get the chance. Depending on personal preference, you can also take it over [Cold Moon].
[Uranian Mirror] is actually also a good signet, the reason it's last on the list is because you need good SP regen to make use of it, and even then other signets make use of it more efficiently. It can also make a run harder if you don't have enough SP, as burst mode is very important for AKA.
- Flame Chaser Signets -
Mobius (1st Core)
Since Crescent Harvest counts as a summon and is summoned very frequently, Mobius' signets are very helpful. The priority is the Summon DMG signet, try to get that to +3 as well. Another good one is the CD reduction on support valkyries, especially if you have AE, or rely on LE's SP regen.
I would say that the normal signets, especially summon DMG, are more important than the core early on, while Kevin's normal signets are nearly useless without his core. Thus, the recommended order is 1 Mobius signet --> 3 Kevin + core --> Mobius signets + core --> Eden, but getting it perfect requires a lot of luck. Of course, Elysia signets have even higher priority.
For enhanced, if you can get them, damage is always good, followed by the CD reduction if you want it.
Kevin (2nd Core)
The priority for Kevin's signets should be Ele Breach > Total DMG > SP > Ele DMG, but if you don't have Skadi then SP might be more important. Additionally, the core is the most important one, so if buying an otherwise useless normal signet in the shop guarantees a core earlier, I would go for it.
For enhanced, Mobius' are probably more important, but the one that buffs the normal signets is good.
Eden (2nd Core)
Because AKA's burst mode is the type that constantly drains SP, you should aim for Eden's 2nd core. As always, total DMG and Ele DMG are best. Other than that, the signet that gives starting SP can be helpful to trigger Kevin's core sooner, and more SP per second can help if you don't have Skadi or have [Uranian Mirror].
The enhanced are unnecessary, but out of all of them, I'd say the one that reduces enemy RES is best.
Other
Hua (2nd Core)
Since enemies will be frozen half the time, it's easier to use Hua's signets. Avoid Kevin's because AKA gets buffs from being at high HP.
Griseo
Helps against type advantages, Red + Yellow + Black paints are good together. Better with Skadi PRI for more frequent weapon actives.
Sakura (2nd Core)
Helps with evades every time you use [Frost Scythe], also gives a 10s timer so you know better when it can be used again. Also does Ice DMG.
Vill-V
Better if you have Skadi PRI, only a few normal signets are worth taking, maybe if you have coins to spare. Otherwise, better to just upgrade other signets.
- Playstyle -
Start with an evade into [Frost Scythe] for gather and damage while you stack Hypothermia
Once able, enter burst mode and charged attack to summon Crescent Harvest
(Remember to cast [Frost Scythe] every so often)
Once SP is around 15-20, cast Ult again to lock enemies in Ice Cell
Once Ice Cell ends, use charged attack for another Ice Cell
Once SP is high enough, enter Burst mode again and repeat
- Support Valkyries -
LE for SP regen, and either AE for gather + buff or Haxxor for buff
Once you have some good SP regen signets, you can choose to switch out LE.
Any 2 of AE, Haxxor or Felis are fine.
- Remembrance Sigils -
General: Mobius' [Forbidden Seed], then Kevin's [Burden], Eden's [Gold Goblet], and end with [Tin Flask]/[MOTH Insignia]
Support: Elysia's [Because of You] then Eden's [Dreamful Gold] or Mobius' [Boundless Logos]
Fun story, during testing I tried to restart a floor but pressed the wrong button, ending the run on the 15th floor :)
I haven't actually used AKA since 5.0 so this was very different. A lot has changed since then, probably the most notable being Kevin's 2nd core, but also Mobius' signets. In all, quite fun, I'd probably use her more if Silverwing wasn't so OP in everything.
